The members of HIM. Are very tallented.
If valo where to leave I doubt they would remain HIM. They would start another. I'd still love that band too.

I would have to listen to see how they managed to work around his absence should he ever leave. If they continued to create amazing and beautiful music, then hell yes I would still listen, though I would be sad... sad

HIM is a Band, collectively...and if any of their memmers, not just ville, were to part i dont think they would be as good as they are.
for exapmple i was a BIG Metallica fan from about 1993-1997, by the time i started listening to them the band had already lost a great bassist named cliff burton, but because jason newstead was such a big fan of the band he was able to play the songs almost as well as cliff if not just as well...when jason newstead left metallica all of the material they produced afterwards sucked...(Saint anger) I know there are alot of younger kids on here and i dont know if you all know very much about Metallica...but anyway back to HIM...
HIM, made up of ALL of it's members is a band, a family, a unit...they have a chemistry together that cannot be matched by any other combination of members or any other composition. Although all of them would be abale to produce side projects that would be equally good, for example Daniel Lioneye (linde's other band)...it still wouldn't be HIM.

I don't know. Ville is an amazing singer. I don't think they could get anybody else to fill his shoes. I'd have to hear it first. But probably.

I'd definitely still listen to them, just because Ville is the frontman of the band doesnt mean to say that they can't go on without him.
Sure, there'd be a lot of controversy over it but Ville isn't the whole band as amazing as he is I would still listen to the HIM without Mr Valo.

id be terribly upset knowing my favorite band
would be really no more actaully..
but i would give the new music a chance
but the sounds they achive, and villes voice
how they all intertwine, i dont thinkthe band ever accomplish
much with a new singer.
the guiatring, drums, keyboarding, bass.. i know thatd still
have a great sound, but voice thatd be trashed in my opinion..
id probably lose intrest in the lyrics and focus on the actual musical
intruments.
and more than likely they would all just form a new band..
if they really cared so much about the music they would just form another.
also they could retire anyway with all the profit they've made.. ever since they had shown up on Bam's show, their sales had to have took a huge boom, and with all the records, and singles theyve produced, clothing,posters.. and right now with all the hype of their new cd, many are pre-ordering it before it comes out.and for those who cant you knw they'll be rushing to the nearest music store or wherever to buy the new cd when it comes out.
they do have fans all over the world.not just you and me,or people from finland or the US.. fans are all over world.

That just made me cry a little >.>
My GOSH. No Valo, no HIM. It's just not the same. It's not HIM anymore. Ville Valo is the [[don't mind my analogies to anatomy]] backbone, the spine, the heart, and the brain behind HIM. Plus, I dont think Ville would leave <33 If the band breaks up, I swear, I'm going to be lifeless.
I'm not just saying for if Vlle left. It's ferr any of them. It's not HIM, if one of them, any one of them, leaves. Teh same sound will not be produced.
D: Man, now I'm crying. And nothing's even happened. JUST THE THOUGHT T.T

I doubt he'd ever leave, but if he did, I'd cry. A lot. But I'd still listen to the band.

I don't think HIM would be as popular with out Ville.
Many people only listen to them because they think hes "hot"

Depends on what the new singer is like, coz Ville Valo has got a lovely voice which is really unique, so it depends on what the singer is like coz of the singer isnt very good it lets the band down
