Watari couldn't help but smirk at the title of 'Prince of Darkness.' He could think of a couple of other people he would describe like that, though he hadn't the heart to tell his fellow inventor so. Besides, there was no harm in a little illusion.
"Nice to meet you, Jack, Wuya. Even if only one of you likes robots."
003 squeed at the patting, completely content.

Jack nodded, letting his paws rest to his own side, "Yeah, she doesn't like it at all," he chuckled, bringing her closer. He knew that wasn't ever a good idea, but, whatever. "She's still a good partner.."
"Eh..As soon as I sense a Wu, it's back to the way it was..I know that..", she growled silently, letting him scoot her over to him. "..I wish I was normal right now..."

Watari's ears perked at the unfamiliar term, cocking his head to the side. "What's a 'Wu'? Is it something special?"
003 grew bored with the conversation, wide eyes lowering somewhat as he settled between Watari's paws for a nap. If the scientist needed him, he wasn't that far away.

"It's a Mystical item that has power and crud..Yeah, I don't want to get too into it," Jack explained, nodding, "I've said it multiple times," he chuckled, picking up Wuya with his fangs, like a mother picking up a child.
".....", Wuya just lay limp in Jack's grasp, growling loudly. Oh, she didn't like that at all. "..You act as if the Wu are little toys or something.." she lectured Jack, shaking her head as much as she could.

Watari laughed at the sight of Wuya hanging from Jack's mouth, but his cheer, at this point, was partially false. His main interest had been captured by the mention of a mystic object, or possibly several, that he know nothing about. What powers did they have, exactly? Did they pose any serious threat to sentient beings? Who had made them, and for what purpose?
He kept all of these questions hidden, save perhaps for a glint of curiousity in his orange eyes, because he did not want to make the other Kitsu talk about anything that would make him uncomfortable. The quick steps he had taken to quiet his guardian seemed to confirm his desire to let the subject lie.
The winged Kitsu sat still so as not to disturb his own resting guardian, and a look down made his eyes soften. "He's such a little angel."

"I wish she could be the same thing..", Jack muttered, placing her on the ground, giving her head a pat or two. "I bet you're curious to what Wu are, right?", he asked Watari, smirking.
"You dare tell him, your going to regret it...if he wants to know, let him research them, or something..", Wuya growled to Jack, crossing her arms, in a boiled rage.

All three of Watari's golden-tipped tails swished gently against the ground at the prospect of having his curiousity satisfied. Although Waya still objected, Jack had bridged the subject - which meant that he could ask as much as he wanted!
"What are they? What do they do? Do you have any? Can I see how they work? Why doesn't Wuya want me to know anything about them?"

"Uhm..In this order, Magical artifacts; they do many things, from being a teleportation device to a sword controling the winds; not on me right now; I would if I did have any on me; and Wuya dun want me to tell you because she thinks that everyone who I tell will use this information against them."
With a pause, he smirked, nodding, and counting it off by his paws. "Anything else?", he asked him, grinning.
"......", Wuya just stared coldly to Jack, who wasn't even watching her.

Watari's eyes became twin orange disks, and his excited tails came to a complete standstill. Magic artifacts? Various forms? "That. Is. So. COOL!"
His curiousity satisified, he raised a single paw. "And you've got my promise as a fellow scientist, that I won't ever go looking for them or tell anyone about them or anything."

"ACTUALLY! If you do go and find something that'll fit the description, bring it by me," he told the fellow scientist, nodding. "And, sides, your not the only one that I've told about it."
"...." Wuya just stared at Jack with a "what did you just say?" look.
