Ranis's finger sunk into the orb and came back out with a slurping sound as the orb blobbed around his finger and rippled. Silver blinked, and shook his head, disoriented a moment. "Please don't do that ranis. Thats.....Disconcerning." He tickled Ranis a little, and leaned back a little.
"A normal week, huh? Jeez." He'll stop, running a hand through his hair and tugging at the pony tail he had his hair in. "Well, i tend to be at the club, either working or hanging out until late on friday and saturday night at the very least, so I won't get out of there until 3 or 4am, sometimes i'll sleep in my basement apartment."
"I'll wake up around 9 or 10 usually, go outside and meditate. I've been learning it to help control my emotions. After meditation for a half an hour or so, I have a couple hours of workout and fighting practice, usually alone, but sometimes my teacher, ariel, spars with me. Kicks my butt is more like it." He shook his head. "She looks like an old asian grandmother, but she's still tough as nails, and a wereraven to boot, so she's a lot older then she looks."
"I usually eat a small lunch, then in the afternoon I go riding around, or i'll shift to my wolf form and go out into the woods, depending on my mood. Evening comes, and I'll stop in at the club, chat with some friends, gather some info on things i'm looking into, then if its not a busy night, i'll go out to the woods and spend some more time practicing, and looking around. If its the full moon, I tend to spend a good amount of time in wolf form. I'm not forced to, but if I don't make an effort to stay humanoid, then i'll go wolf."

"My thoughts exactly. Do you want me to hold him for a while?" asked Keirro as she set down her notes and walked over to Ranis.
That eye was so cool! He was about to poke at it again until Silver showed disapproval of the first time. He crawled back to the fa'e's ears and continued his usual tugging and gnawing.

"Na, thats okay. I'm apparently a good jungle gym." He reached up, and Scritched ranis on the head, giving a chuckle. "I'm still getting used to the eye myself. It's been missing since I was a teen. I sacrificed it to prove my innocence in something that happened. Its only been replaced by the supernatural things in the past couple of months. Then again, i also spent a couple of months before the in a coma. So I'm just happy to be up and moving around again."

"If you insist. So, what do you want for yourself?" Keirro asked as she sat in a chair across from Silver. Now, she almost had in her mind a near-perfect summary of Silver and his needs and wants. It seemed to her that he needed to find a way to reach out to others that was constructive to himself and to the community, but would be something that he loved to do.
Ranis purred as Silver scratched his head. He started to settle down a bit and climbed down to Silver's lap and curled up into a little ball.

Smiling and continuing to pet Ranis, silver frowned a little. "Honestly, I don't know. I've estranged most of the rest of the fa'e. I just want to take care of my family, as I consider the rest of the fa'e. They are the only people like me in the entire world. Each of us are unique and special. I want to protect them, and I'll do whatever I have to to protect them. I've worked as a teacher, I've worked as a bodyguard, I've worked as an Assasin. I've killed to protect them, and I will again if I have to." Silver's eyes turned hard a moment, then he shook his head.
"Sorry, its one of those things I feel strong about. Its hard enough with all the infighting in the fa'e themselves." Sighing, he stood up, holding Ranis. "Ideally, i'd like to teach the fa'e to protect themselves. At least the ones that can. That way I'm not the only guardian of the group. There are one or two others already I know, but I don't know if they have the right mind set for it."

Keirro decided to trend carefully as she got closer to revealing her conclusion. "What if, you could create a summer camp of sorts for the younger Fa'e? Where they and a few other older Fa'e could help them develop skills that would teach them how to become strong adults? It's quite obvious that you have a good heart as well as the best of intentions. You're the nurturing type. It could actually come from your wolf side, since they are prone to living in packs and supporting each other. However, even guardians need help from time to time and I fully support you finding a friend that you can confide in.
What concerns me most is where is the line between your humanity and your wild nature. I propose that you find a daily activity that allows you to explore where exactly that line is and how you can live with both natures living in harmony." said Keirro. She waited nervously for Silver's response.
Meanwhile, Ranis had not a care in the world as he cuddled in Silver's arms. The little cub was already on his way to slumberland as he twitched his tail contently.

Smiling slightly, he shrugged one shoulder, careful not to disturb the child in his arms. "Thats something i try to do while I meditate. As much as a hinderance as my instincts can be sometimes, they have saved my life too, so I don't want to suppress them. So i've been trying to live with them and find some way to make my two sides work together. Its not easy though."
He carefully handed Ranis to Keirro, spinning a little afterwards. "To me, the call of the wild isn't just an ideal. Its a song I can hear in my head, calling for me to shed this skin of civilization and run on four feet. Meanwhile my Civilized side calls for me to follow the ideals of society, to be a "good, upstanding member of society. Be a hero. you ahve the powers."" Silver shrugged a little. "something I learned at an early age is that hero's arn't as heroic as those that just get their job done the best they can."

Keirro smiled. "If there is anything you need to talk about, you let me know. I can tell that the road ahead will not be easy. Make sure that your own needs are met first and do what you can." said Keirro as she accepted the child back into her arms.

"Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. Its always nice to have someone to talk to that doesn't run screaming from me." He shrugged, and chuckled. "And no, the road for any fa'e is never easy. Theres a demon I have to hunt down, and fa'e that i havn't seen in months that I need to find so I know whats been going on. Still, you do what you can, right?"

"Of course." said Keirro as she smiled at Silver. "I'll do what I can for you. Ranis loves having you around. Perhaps sometime in the furture, you can be the one to give some advice." she raised an eyebrow at the Fa'e.

"I'll do what I can Ms. Keirro. Still, i should be going. I have to work tonight. Thanks for taking the time to talk to me." He waited to be shown the to the front door, and after he stepped outside, closed his eyes. There was a crunching and popping sound, and his body shimmered, seeming to flow like light and water as in his place stood an enormous wolf, head down, eyes closed. Opening its eyes, he gave a yip, then took off into the closest set of woods, heading towards the mountains with a purpose.
