Oh, he recognized that look, alright; had seen it enough in his own reflection and on the faces of some of his mare acquaintances to know EXACTLY what that sort of smile meant...and seeing it returned to him made him very, very happy.
Though still fanning with his wings, he'd slowed down a bit as he moved closer to the blue mare, his step careful and measured. "My name would be Guilian, Chica...though you are free to refer to me as you will. And by what do you yourself prefer to be called, that I might know you are not offended by my own selection of names?" Not that HE saw anything wrong with 'chica' but there were those that did.

"My name, this afternoon, will be Sea," Asherah murmured, tilting her head to the side. No, she would not give out her real name, "As that is what I live by." She did, indeed, live for and by the sea. After all - it was perfection in itself, a living, breathing contridiction of itself just like she was.
Her wings fanned out a little bit and a smirk touched her lips, "I shall be fine with calling you Guilian."

So, she was using an alias, eh? Well, no matter; as long as he knew who she was now and could recognize her later, it didn't matter if she'd told him her name was Mare. "Sea...I should have guessed as much, given the tempestuousness of your eyes and the shade of your body, Chica, yet obviously such escaped me. A pity..."
Still smiling, he knelt down on the ground beside her, fanning with one wing but gently running the other along her face in a gentle, teasing caress. "And yet at the same time, not a pity, Sea-Chica, for it left me something to guess. Now, however, I find myself wanting to guess even more."
Running his feathers along her jawline, he touched them lightly to her lips, then leaned closer and murmured, "I wish to assuage my curiousity, Chica...to learn everything"

Lips parted to n** at the feathers lightly and she gave a soft, low laugh, "It is your right to learn everything, Guilian," she murmured, "For there is much to learn." The mare couldn't help but lean into him then, "More than you could possibly imagine."
It seemed as though the cardinal stallion had met his match in passion. Asherah was as giving as she was taking - and good at it. The sea had, most definitely, taught it's daughter well.

More than he could possibly imagine, eh? Perhaps most stallions were that limited, but he himself...
"Well, I suppose that we'll have to see that, won't we, Chica?" After all, he'd never been able to resist a challenge.

Much, much later, it was as though the mare's prayers had been answered, at least in part. A cool breeze blew in from the lake, heralding the arrival of night, and with the cooler temperatures came a cooling of moods.
Well, that, and other things.
"So, Chica, why is it that a mare so fond of the sea is so far from it today?" Guilian stood on the bank of the lake, his mane curling about his neck in a most becoming fashion due to the evening breeze. Unlike those users he so despised, Guilian had never felt a need to cut and run once he'd had his pleasure, and actually enjoyed talking to mares. Besides, this one was rather unique...in more ways that one, granted, but very much in attitude.
