Not many people do know season zero of yuugiou. Most people only know about the crappy Duel Monsters version.
Season zero was made in 1996 I believe... a long time ago. And it's only 27 episodes long, but it's really weird and doesn't revolve around the card game as much.

Are you kidding? Duel Monsters Yuugiou is also EXTREMELY violet... They just crapped it up in America. However, I only seem to like the fifth and final season because it barely revolves around card games. Mostly just ancient Egypt. And everyone love ancient Egypt.
...That and vampires. Gotta love those vampires.

There's a story that claims vampires came from ancient egypt... I don't know if I prefer that one, however. It's an interesting concept though.
