Wild Wind flashed his wings a bit, stretching them out before tucking them back to his side. He wasn't afraid of the water and he did know how to swim. It just took forever for the feathers to dry out and he'd be preening them for a week! He snickered and snorted as the grounded stallion "showed off" in the water. "I can tell. Getting your monthly bath then, Jingles," he asked with a large, obnoxious grin still on his muzzle.
(( Crummy response. Sorry. D: ))

"And you wonder why so few of your own kind look to you for company." The sly smile slipped on to the 'grounded' stallion's lips as he turned his gaze towards the other stallion. Clearly, he was well aware of the location of the wind's kind and while he wasn't one to speak openly about precise locations (it went against his nature) it was nice to see an obnoxious individual presented with blunt observations.
...From Paramekia's time in the Kawani lands, he had grown accustomed to the fact that the majority of Winds held respect for their grounded cousins. Any who spoke out of turn, were often viewed with disdain and ignored.
Curious, he wondered if they were avoiding him purposefully.
"Do you always act the idiot, or is today just one of those days when you feel the need to experiment?"

He snorted. He had yet to meet any winds really. He had flown in only a month or so ago really and didn't feel up to finding them until he knew the perfect place to start. "Avoiding me? Idiot? No, no, grounded. I'm afraid you are drawing conclusions from the wrong source."
He snapped his wings open and flew across the water, coming face-to-face with the nameless blue stallion. There was a strange glint in Wild Wind's eye when he looked straight at him and a crazy smirk on his features. He stepped closer to him, head lowered and ears pulled back. "Perhaps your out here all alone is because your kind doesn't want anything to do with a noise-maker such as yourself and you only bagged this one mare because she was dumb enough to fall for your tricks."
His smile was insane as he glanced around. "You're out here all alone, no one to hear you cry for help.."

"Except the wind that lurks upon the slopes." Paramekia had received threats before and was under no illusions. Wind soquili were exceptionally easy to take down...rip a wing, or better yet, snap a wing and he would be down. He had seen them fight before, knew their tactics and therefore he found the entire concept to be rather amusing.
"I sincerely doubt that he would take a liking to your ways, dishonour is looked down upon." That said, he deliberately flicked his tail against the winds flank and continued on his way. He was above drawing his mate any further into arguments and while he would defend her from danger, he felt no need to protect her honour when a dishonourable and obnoxious bird spoke illy.
Ah yes, he was better than that and had been raised as such.
"Leave me be, you bore me." He added without glancing over his shoulder.

Wild Wind took moved back in the grounded's path. That twisted grin growing wider. "I bore you? I bore you? Perhaps I should make this more entertaining for you, Jingles." He stomped a white hoof forward, moving closer and trying to back the undaunted stallion back.
He was smiling into that shimmering blue face, taunting and gloating with wild eyes. He didn't feel like being nice anymore. He wanted to hear the high pitch scream horses made in fear and pain. It had been a long time since he had heard it and he was wanting to feed off the feelings. "Let's play a game of Soquili and wolves."
(( Crummy post. I'm getting back my scattered thoughts, so bare with me. ))

"No." Paramekia replied, continuing to move around the stallion with a greater sharpness in his tone. He wasn't the greatest fan of physical combat but if the stallion really pushed him then 'Jingles' would glad thrust the ivory horns right into the bird's stomach - or better yet, break his wing in a thousand places. Long ago he had groan bored of the blatant insults and he was not going to stay for more.
That, and he wasn't prey to him.
What he saw was a child and nothing more, one that would be completely alienated from his kind for the apparent ignorance and brutality he demonstrated. A shame he wasn't born with leather wings, the kalona would have loved him.
"I would suggest you aggravate the wolves yourself, I have better things to do with my time." And with that, he pushed himself further into the trees and gave a flick of his tail. If the wind lacked the intelligence to follow him then the Grounded would most certainly be at an advantage...

He almost took a step after him and then noted the trees. He wasn't completely stupid, but he had just lost his chance in alleviating some built up anger. In the woods he would be at a complete disadvantage, unable to take off and fly when things got tight.
Jingles wasn't as dumb of a Grounded as he thought him to be. Or maybe he was. He didn't show any form of intelligence about him. He didn't cower when he made threats. He just brushed on passed him seeming dumb and focused on just his destination. "So long, Jingles. I'm sure I'll find you easily enough in the future. Keep up with that music," he said with a chuckle, snapping his wings open.

Paramekia had very little reason to fear the Wind. Well aware of the strengths and weaknesses of Wild's kind, he was confident in his ability to deal with the stallion if necessary. Unfortunately Wild didn't completely understand (and never would) that Paramekia did everything with a purpose and reason in mind. Nothing Paramekia did was spontaneous and unless it benefited him he wasn't interested.
He wasn't a punch bag either.
"Rest assured, you will not see me again." Paramekia replied as he slipped further into the woods and released a delicate chuckle. If anything, the stallion would take even greater measures to either permanently rid himself of the wind, or just to avoid him. While the first was the more desirable, the second was the easier...
Apparently Mr. Wild was in luck!
That being said, with the encountered finalised in the stallion's mind he simply quickened his pace and moved deeper into the forest.
