Tiffany snorted "Oh, well then why didn't you just say so in the first place?" she demanded, shaking her head a bit. Stupid Guilian, he was so difficult. Why couldn't he just be straightforward? Some stallions had some serious issues on what they wanted.

"Well, Ariston, that is why you replace them. Duh. They add to the look, and smell nice. You of all people should understand that one much work hard to look beautiful" said Tiffany. How in the WORLD could ANY soquili in the right mind question how flowers look on one. Of COURSE they look amazing. "Right Guilian? You know!" It was true, Guilian adorn himself in black roses.

"Well, he is just SO confusing. He gave me compliments with the wrong intentions. The intentions should be to simply do your duty and inform me of how gorgeous I am! But no, he had ulterior motives, how rude is that?!" she said, not wanting to give up her little rant.

"Well, I suppose. Guilian, if you sincerely apologize for your horridly out of line antics, I might consider forgiving you" she said. Tiffany glared at him. At this point she wasn't really angry at him. But one had to hold up their pride, didn't they? Particularly one of such high status as Tiffany.

Sensible Ariston. Sane Ariston. Ariston who understood simple logic in SPITE of being a rather prideful creature. So why was it so complicated for Tiffany to grasp the same? Shaking his head, Guilian gave Tiffany's comment an amused look. "Because it wasn't necessary, of course. I'd think that my actions would have more than spoken for themselves; to say anything would have been both rude and unecessary, considering that you and friend Ariston were conversing."

Then again, there was also the additional escape element; he could insert himself into a conversation if he so desired, after all...like now. Hearing Ariston express his views on flowers brought a smile to his face, as well as creating an opening he couldn't possibly let pass. "Perhaps it is mere consideration on your part, eh friend Ariston? You know that they would only enhance your image to the point of blatant cruelty to the mares who couldn't be with you."

Grinning, he sauntered back towards the two, stepping up between them and glancing from one to the other before winking at Ariston. "I myself have no such qualms, obviously...but I think that my flower selection compliments me just a tidbit more, no?" This was said with a toss of his mane, causing the rose at his ear to shift slightly.

Her comment about him not being straightforward caused his brows to arch, though. "Not being straightforward? My dear Tiffany-Chica, you have idea how straightforward I honestly was. Or would you rather I simplify things a bit more?" Glancing at Ariston, he adopted a devilish grin, one that went most delightfully with the current rakish tilt of his rose. "Should I have told you that you are a thing of exquisite beauty beyond my imaginings, and that I deeply desire to love you?"

Yep, that was simple. "Is it so wrong to dream, Chica? Can you really want an apology for holding you in such esteem?"

"Bleh Guilian, you of all people know how flowers make me sneeze." He sighed, not really having a personal issue with flowers, "You and your flowers are perfect together, and same with Tiffany." He looked towards her and grinned. "So, since it works for you both, I am happy to step aside on this flower thing." It was funny that the only reason he was so complicated was because of his horrible allergies. "But see, I really am quite happy with my image so, I must decline these flower offers."

At least he was honest, plus Ariston woudl never back down and let others talk him into things.

Ariston grinned as Guilian spoke, finally understand what really happened. "Now, if you ask me, Guilian was being as straightforward as can be." Though, that last sentence was just great, and he wanted to laugh so badly.

"But, I am still confused myself on this issue Tiffany, it doesn't make sense to me, you want Guilian to apologize for desiring you? That's a bit ridiculous, don't you think?" Now, Ariston was lucky he didn't have the same problem, especially since at the moment when he met Tiffany, he wasn't looking for that sort of thing. Plus, she kept mentioning how they could be brother and sister, and in his mind that was strange enough! "Now, how are we going to solve this, then Tiffany?" Ariston, of course, putting himself in the drama as usual.

Tiffany stopped for a moment, thinking. "Well, whatever Ariston. I can't make you do anything" she said with a sigh. He would look so nice with the flower, but he chose not to take the opportunity. It was moments like this that made Tiffany sad, she had just been her normal helpful self, and once again, the soquili chose not to take her priceless advice.

She looked back and forth between the two. Such similar personalities, both very concerned with appearance, both very friendly towards her. Except Guilian seemed more sexual, while Ariston seemed more interested in gossip and fashion. Then again, Ariston was the sin of Pride. But then again, why was it a sin anyway? More of a gift, really.

"Well" said Tiffany, glaring at the two. "It's the principle of the thing! Stallions shouldn't be hitting on me unless they KNOW I like them, particularly if they don't have any intention of being a permanent mate. As you know, Ariston, I will not be easily wooed. But to do so with out any intentions of mating, well, that is just plain horrid!" she ranted.

Why did no one understand her plight? Poor, innocent Tiffany felt horribly violated, and betrayed by her friend. Why would he do such a thing? Had he no wits, or feelings? Was he nothing more then a single-minded jerk?

"But as I said before, I might be willing to accept your apology"

The things that Guilian put up with in the name of goodness and generousity. Tiffany had such potential, yet she kept missing the point so much it was like she was deliberately trying to frustrate them. In his case at least it was working; if this kept up much longer he'd have to just go find Luca and hole up for a while.

But he wasn't going to give up on Tiffany, not yet. She was making at least a tiny bit of progress, and that was a start. "Ah, but you DID like me, remember Chica? You told me so yourself, after all; so if there was something else I was supposed to have known, I am sorry it was miscommunicated."

With that, he swept her a bow, though he was grinning devilishly as he did so. "Please accept my apologies, Chica...that I was unsuccessful in seducing you as to your specifications." There, an excellant apology!

Ariston again wanted to laugh at Guilian's apology, but he sternly contained himself, which seemed like the hardest thing to do for the day! It had been awhile since he stood next to Guilian who was currently trying for action, and he forgot how much fun it was to do these things. How nice it would be if the children could grow up and if he could continue on with some of his fun ways.

"I've never heard a female ask for permission, what does that even mean?" Ariston raised a brow and chuckled at Tiffany. "That is ridiculous, being hit on is like a form of nature. It just.. happens?" He shook his head and looked at her, being confused by her thoughts.

"Then explain to me what you would rather stallions do? Because your thoughts are just not sitting in my brain clearly." Ariston loved when females would swoon him with attention, and he was suprised tha Tiffany felt differently. "So, why didn't you give Guilian permission? He's a good looking guy, smart, stylish.." Ariston ended his statement with a chuckle, only because this was getting to be too much fun.

Tiffany flicked her long tail. Wow, not even Ariston understood her now, hmm? "You two just don't get it. I don't need nor want male's attention to make myself feel special. Oh know, I know I am. And such childish acts are just plain annoying" she said, starting to feel ganged up on by the two.

"I liked you, Guilian, because you told me I was beautiful, which is true. I can't say I don't enjoy that, because I do. But your intentions were not pure, I don't think I can forgive you for that." she said, feeling his apology quite insufficient. She would accept it some point, but not for a very long while. Like a week or so.

She then looked at Ariston again "I don't get what you are saying. You act like it is fun or something" she said, completely unaware of such 'things' "You two sound quite perverted right now" she said, "But I guess you lower downs tend to be like that, hmm?" she shook her head "I had high hopes for you boys"

The mare turned around "Anyway, I have places to go, people to help! I need to spread my wonderful and spectacular personality and image help all over. Neither of you seem to be sensible enough to take my advice, Ariston, at least. Bye!" she said, trotting off.

Watching the mare walk off, Guilian couldn't help but chuckle. It was like deja vu all over again, only this time, she'd beaten him to walking off. At least he himself had company, though, a fact he took advantage of as he turned to give Ariston a wink and a murmur.

"You see what I mean, Friend Ariston? A great beauty, aye, but no sense a'tall. Why, she turned down two of the most eligible of stallions; that can't say much for her mental state."

Which was a tragedy of the highest order, naturally, at least for her. Maybe one day she'd wisen up, but until then...Ah well. At least she didn't know what it was she was missing, otherwise he'd completely give up hope.

But enough dwelling, there were more important things to discuss! "So, you were telling me about my reputation?"
