It was pretty clear at this point that either the stallion was dim, or Echo was just shiningly bright today. "I need color." she said, pondering the choices he had given. None of those were the appropriate one, but he had given a very nice selection. "I... tired." A little hot, but that was because she was black, and it was bright. "Are you okay, Vodka?" she tilted her head attentively, politely, sending the question back at him- and the conversation back into his field.

Man, he couldn't even guess her color! But, he was distracted at her response to him. Well, at least they were heading somewhere! And, she even asked him a question, that was nice.
"Tired? Do you want to go into a shady area?" They already were in the forest, but it wasn't completely convered with trees. "I am ok, thank you Echo." He bowed pollitely, and brought his bright eyes back on her. "You have wings, do you like to fly?" He pointed to her wings. "I like wings, they are pretty."
He then looked at the surrounding area. What else could a female like? "Do you like flowers? Or Mountains, or the ocean?" He looked at her, curious again by his many words. "Or Napping, running, dancing.."

She couldn't stop the giggle. "Color, Vodka." her voice chided lightly, though she answered his other question too, since it was there. "Shady. You, I. Go." she took a few steps away. "I like wings. Like to fly. Like the ocean." Liked to eat flowers, unless they were harboring a naughty bee. "Do you like the ocean, Vodka? The mountains? I know you like wings." Her grin was light. "And red color."
She lifted her head, listening to the cry of a hawk above them, and she glanced up, curious. "I like... that. The blue." she lifted her nose towards the sky. The freedom of flight, even though her hair kept her fairly weighted down. "Blue ocean. Blue flight. And..." she lifted a hoof, shaking it. "Blue Echo."

Vodka stepped forward to follow her, since a shady area is what she wanted! Echo was so talkative now, especially since he had said so many words. "I love the ocean and mountains." He commented and smiled. "I like swimming, and running.." He moved on to some more detailed descriptions. "I also like soft grass, and small ponds." He couldn't deny that he didn't enjoy rolling in the grass.
"You like all those things, and blue." He smiled, "Flying must be nice.." He never really thought about the issue since he was always on the ground, "So do you not like the sky when it rains? Or is cloudy and gray?" He tilted his head, "Stormy weather is not my favorite."

She smiled. "I like all the sky. When it rains, when it is gray, when it is blue. It is nice." how else could she say it? The sky enraptured her, and not for the first time did she give thanks she had been born with wings, able to fly, to walk on clouds. "Soft grass!" good to eat. "Ponds, ocean, mmm...." she made a curious little wriggle. Like a fish. "I like...." she wriggled again.
Flying and swimming. Fun to do! And eat flowers. Honeysuckle and dandylions were two of her favorites.

She liked a lot more then he would have guessed, and it was also nice to see her so cheerful on the subject. "I am glad you like the sky, I usually stay on the ground and just run." Well, that was the only way, afterall. "Are you a fast flyer? Or a slow, steady one? Do you soar and twist and turn?" He hoped that he had given her a decent word choice, and he tilted his head as he finished.
"So, have you met a lot of Soquili around here? Many stallions, or mares, or even kids?" Hmm it would be hard for her to be able to say a name, but he assumed as much after he finished speaking. "Maybe flying in the air you have seen other Soquili?"
Talking to her was a bit difficult, but he was trying hard to look past it as a challenge.

"Slow flyer. Not twist and turn." She shook her head. All her hair made it hard to twist and turn, unfortunately. "Not a lot of soquili, Yes stallions, yes mare, yes kids." She pondered. "Have you met a lot? Flying and running... mares, stallions?" Who had he met? What were they like? "Are you a fast runner? Do you twist and turn?" She had seen Khalon, her unicorn friend, run like a predator, gliding over the ground like her winged friends could cut through the air.

"Yes I have met a lot." He nodded to her, "Flying stallions and mares, running ones too. Also some unicorns, a flutter." He grinned as he spoke. At her next question, he thought for a second before answering. He certainly thought he was a fast runner, but he wondered if he really was. "I am fast, hmm rather then twist and turn, I can step quickly, back and forth." He moved one of his legs quickly to indicate to her the quick moves he had practiced. "Just like that."
He noticed that the forest around them was getting darker, and the mid-afternoon was slowly transforming into a calm dusk sky. "It is getting late.." He peered about the area, and the smiled to her kindly. "Do you need anything before it gets too dark? Like, food, water," He pushed his nose to the side of them at the stream. "Uhh.. shelter?" He really wasn't sure what else to ask, food was probably his biggest concern for her. He felt the need to almost watch out for her carefully, and he smiled warmly as he finished speaking.

She couldn't stop the laughter completely. It came out as a little giggle. A full-grown stallion, twisting and turning in place... "Fast, yes." she smiled at him, and then shook her head, snorting it out of her way. Shelter? She glanced up at the sky, then tilred her head. Why shelter? Was he afraid of the night? "Not shelter. Food..." She nodded, and moved for the grass. Food. She ripped up a flower and munched happily. Glared at a butterfly approaching her nose.

Heh, she seemed to find food easily by herself, and Vodka just smiled when he watched her gobble up some flowers. "That looks like it tastes good." he said, with a nod. Though, he was a stallion who tended to worry a lot, since that was how his mother raised him. Though, he realized he could stay by Echo for a few more minutes, the area around them wasn't completely dark yet. "Uh oh, another butterfly? Man, those things are annoying!" He said, with a swat of his tail.

"Annoying!" she agreed, loudly. "It tastes good... Want flowers?" She plucked one up, offering it to Vodka. She watched him curiously. He seemed ill at ease. Was it because it was getting dark. "You want... to... go?" She had to ponder, to make sure all the words were there. If her companion was ill at ease, perhaps he wished to part ways?

He could only smile dearly at Echo, she was so innocent and cute. How could he possibly leave her to fend for her own? What if something dangerous appeared, surely that would be terrible! He could only imagine them asking her a question, and getting angry at her response.
"I'd love a flower." he said, with a slick nod, and he gobbled it up happily. "No, perhaps I will stay a bit longer." he said, answering her little question. "But what do you usually do at night?" He prepared himself for many answers- "Sleep early, sleep late, wander around until late, gaze at the stars..?" His mind was tired from his word searching, but he was starting to get used to it at this point.

She couldn't help laughing again. He was so funny, this strangely-colored stallion. "I usually wander, gaze at stars. Sleep late at night." Her eyes usually closed as the sun rose, if the stars were lovely enough. "What do you do? You sleep early, Vodka?"

"Yeah.. I usually sleep early." Since, he really had nothing else to do, as pathetic as it was. Standing here with Echo was the longest he had ever been with a female, and it was even more depressing to think about, since she was so different then other females. But, he found he was more happy right now with her then with other females anyways.
"Where do you want to wander, then? Do you have a spot? Like an open area, where the stars are bright? I can walk with you there."

She gave a small smile and jerked her head in the direction of the beach. "Wander water." she explained, moving down towards the water, turning her head and waiting for her chivalrous companion. "Have spot... Vodka stay." she offered hesitantly. If the stallion slept early, perhaps she could retire early herself, and he could stay with her at her friends teepee. It was not where she usually stayed, but she was certain that her companions, seen rarely, would welcome both herself and her friend.
