Aely looked at Tashika as she looked over Sibalto. To her it was obvious that Harij wasn’t having too much luck in making a new friend, he was fussing too much over her and in the way of Soquili talking something told her that he didn’t usually say much. He was the quietest horse she had ever spent time with. The dappled grey was lovely, but how did he take to others on his back, “Do you think that your Sibalto would take to that well?” Getting thrown off wasn’t high on her to-do list or just annoying him either…
Harij’s curiosity was piqued. What the two were saying was foreign to him but it involved the weird leather-thing on the other’s back. With his ears pricking back and forth he questioned, “What is that leather-smelling thing you are wearing?” He’d never seen one before nor had he smelled anything quite like it. Shaking his head, he simply waited but this time with curiosity about him.

Tashika shook her head, leaping onto the stallion's back for a moment, rearranging the reins, and then sliding down. Sibalto was a perfect mount... He didn't mind giving rides, and giving a riding lesson would be easy...
Just to be sure, Tashika murmured what she was planning into the stallion's silver ear, smiling as they flicked back and forth, and he nodded. "He won't mind... He's a very easy ride..."
Sibalto smiled. Everyone wanted to know the same thing... It was becomming easier to explain all the time... "Tack... A saddle and bridle.. Testamate to my old life, my old land... It causes me no trouble, and helps a human to stay atop one's back and direct one... Tashika only uses it when we go on long rides..."

Aely simply looked at the stallion before she slid carefully off of Harij. She could feel his muscles bunching and fussing a bit because he didn’t know what she was doing, but otherwise he didn’t seem to be in too much of an uproar. Aely ignored the other pair just for a moment to stroke and soothe Harij so he wouldn’t become agitated with her leaving him. “I’m just curious boy.. It’ll be alright.” Taking a soothing breathe she turned around and smiled meekly, “Alright Sibalto, are you ready?”
Harij frowned for a moment before his head began to bob in a part agitated, part accepting nod. If they thought he wasn’t going to tag along they had another thing coming to them. Simply put, he’d be to the left of her at all times and just make sure everything was okay.. “Hm.. Well if it’s comfortable than I imagine wearing it would be nice.” He didn’t plan on it anytime soon though…

Patting Sibalto's shoulder, Tashika stepped forward to offer Harij her hands to sniff, wanting to make peace with the striking stallion. She murmured soothingly, explaining they weren't going to take his twolegger, just give her a ride...
"It'll be fun..." She assured Aely...
Sibalto nodded and stepped forward, nuzzling the human, nickering and nibbling at her. He was a playful sort, and always enjoyed making new friends. "If it is fit to you, it is almost a part of you... And after awhile, you get to where you don't even feel it anymore... Though, its nice to be free of it too... I get plenty of time without it on my back, plenty of time to just be, free, shall we say..."

Aely smiled in delight and gave the handsome stallion some attention and loving on. She wasn’t used to nibbling lips save for the ones of the colts and fillies that came to her teepee occasionally to play. Harij seemed fine with Tashika and she finally shyly stretched a leg up and tested her weight on the stirrup. “Good strong boy… You don’t hardly feel me do you? So strong you are!”
Harij snorted and relaxed slightly letting himself make loud snorting noises at the unfamiliar scent. He was much more wild than some of the other Soquilis that allowed riders and his feet danced a bit back and forth. Had he been on his own instead of “protecting his human” the stallion probably would have been dancing circles around and contemplating bolting. Finally, the stallion began to calm down and he butted his head against her softly beginning to be a bit trustful.

Tashika grinned back at Aely and Sibalto, glad that Sibalto was showing his usual charming, playful self... It was hard to ever be mad at him, so sweet he was... He stood perfectly still as Aely tested the stirrups, watching her with kind eyes.
"Good boy." She murmured to Sibalto before turning her attention back to Harij. "And you! So handsome you are..."
She murmured softly in his ears, stratching at his cheeks and behind his ears. "Sooo Handsome..."
Sibalto nosed Aely one last time, then waited as she tested the stirrups, snorting and nodding as she called him a strong stallion... He had learned this trick usually amused the two leggers, made them relax. He would give Aely no trouble at all once she was in the saddle, and felt it would be fun to go for a bit of a ride...

Aely laughed softly, a shy sound and one that she didn’t usually emit. Her home-life before Harij, ‘Naci, Lovey, and the list went on… had shown up didn’t really leave too much for laughing about. Now she could ride, groom, and follow around a group of rambunctious horses. When Sibalto nodded she grinned and patted his neck while swinging her leg over him as smoothly as she could in a foreign saddle. Horses were too smart for their own good!
Harij was not a wild Soquili by any way, shape, or form. His head began to droop as soon as the loving on began and a leg propped itself up. Sibalto was taking good care of his girl and the clever fingers of Tashika had him wanting to go belly up. His lip began to wiggle back and forth in delight when she found a particularly itchy part. Probably looked like an over-grown dog to most folks.

"There then..." The Maiden murmured as his eyelids drooped, lip quivering when she found a secret itch on his high crest. She scratched it thoroughly, whispering meaningless compliments into his relaxed ears... Purring over his strong muscles and fetching coat. "Oh what a handsome, delightful thing you are... I've never seen anything like you..."
Sibalto waited until she was in the saddle before he let a happy little shudder go through him from nose to tail. Glancing back at her, he hoped she would gather the reins and be ready, for he was eager to be off. With a stretch of his neck he began at a slow, smoothe walk. Most of his gaits were like silk in water, flowing and graceful... It was how he had been trained...

A delighted grin spread across her face and Aely picked up the reins, placing them comfortably in her left hand and she nudged him almost unnoticeably with the back of her heels and kissed lightly. The saddle added security and the tension in Sibalto was easy enough to feel, “I know you want to run boy.. How about a nice run around the meadow.. And by run I mean..” She trailed off and felt silly… No matter how smart the Soquilis were they probably didn’t understand. Trusting him would be her best bet.
Harij felt the urge to grin. She was being rather nice to him, probably because earlier he’d been ready to attack with teeth bared and hooves slashing. Not that that was his style, Harij just simply preferred not to have to imagine the idea of anything happening to his girl. His twitching lip move “of it’s own accord” to tug at the girl’s top playfully. Even in his happiness at the attention, the stallion knew when he was being babied like a young foal.

Muscles loosening, Sibalto took a moment to test her measure in the saddle and then leapt to a trot, letting her feel the movement for a moment. She had mentioned the word 'run', which he was eager to do... But not yet... A few prancing steps, and then he moved to a canter, strides flowing over the emerald grass. He flicked his ears back, waiting for a simple command like 'faster' or 'stop!'...
Tashika grinned and tickled at his muzzle, discouraging him from her shirt. She had a tendency to compliment the Soquili she met -especially if they let her touch them- and was doing so now. "What a boy you are, Harij... It's nice to meet you, and your two-legger..."
She glanced over at Sibalto and Aely, grinning broadly and waving as the pair swept by. She noticed Sibalto's flipping ears, and then considered Harij. A lifetime of watching Soquili taught her many things, but the time with Sibalto had taught her more. "He wants a command, he can go faster or slow down, depends on what you want..."

Aely let out a burst of giggles as she felt the smooth trot. The horses in her village for the most part were incredibly rocky to ride and usually felt like trying to comfortably ride on a sack full of rocks being bounced around wildly. Not that she’d ever tell that to those horses. Her hand reached down softly and patted his neck, “I’m doing fine Sibalto..” The actual command she gave him was another feather light nudge and a couple of clicks. “C’mon boy… faster.”
Harij was still tempted to misbehave. Not in a bad way, but being a lap dog made a bit of him rebel to exert his “manliness.” Of course, this was next to impossible when she kept loving up on him. His ears dropped slightly but then came back to life when his two-legger made a sweeping pass around them. Running with her would probably become a guilty pleasure as Aely was light and seemed capable enough to him. If only two-leggers knew how to talk with him or back again. Commands? Harij wasn’t sure he’d be overly good at taking those or.. Giving them?

Sibalto gave a happy whinny and arched his neck, leaping into a gallop with a burst of speed and a stretch of his strides. His silver tail flagged proudly as his strides smoothed to a rhythmic four beats, an easy gallop, not as fast as he could have gone... But a swift pace... He whinnied happily again.
Tashika gave his mane a gentle tug to distract him from his mischief, watching the pair that swept around them. Did she look like that when she crouched atop her stallion's back? All flowing hair and big smiles?
"Handsome boys, both of you." She admitted to the stallion at her side.

Aely tightened her leg’s hold on the saddle just a bit and found that the rush of running was easy to manage. On Harij, she’d probably have to cling to his neck but that was alright with her. A silly laugh escaped and she reached down and rubbed his neck, “I’m sure you’re having the time of your life, aren’t you?”
His braid jangled from the gold bands that Aely kept in his hair and he snorted at her playfully. Now he was a tame puppy that could have it’s tail pulled? Bah! His understanding of human was rather limited, but from Aely he’d figured that -handsome- was good… So when she saw it his head simply bobbed up and down a few times.

Sibalto felt each adjustment she made atop his back, minutely changing pace or stride pattern as she settled more firmly into the saddle. He lengthened his strides a bit, picking up more speed... Slowly moving past the 'light gallop' and into a quicker motion. At her question he whinnied in agreement, having always loved to race.
Tashika grinned, recognizing the stallion's expression for what it was. She scratched at his crest, examining the braids in his mane, and considered doing something similar to Sibalto. The tiny gold beads and clips made a soft music, and looked quite nice...
"Do these bother you?" She asked, tugging at his braid a bit.

Aely let the wind ruffle her long chocolatey-black hair and grinned widely. The feeling was as if she had sprouted wings even just for a bit, although she could feel that Sibalto was holding back still. Eventually he’d probably take a full run just for the fun of it. “C’mon baby.. Show me what you can really do.” She crooned to him softly, encouraging him to keep behaving so wonderfully.
Harij raised an eyebrow, barely noticeable with a horse’s facial abilities and to answer her question he shook his head thoroughly to make them jingle happily. The noise made him smile and when his hair was unbraided it was annoyingly long. Got in the way it did.
