No idea and i dont think Kouga will reavel it eithier.
proberly just did it to make it to fit the story and character.
yea a lot of people ask a bout that. i don't since i draw characters with patches on the eye. and my friends are like "what's wrong with his eye?" and i'm like "what? i can't make him look cool?!" so maybe she drew it to look awesome. (it DOES look good on him haha)
Well, Kouga Yun
has drawn Ritsuka with an eyepatch in one of the artbook pictures, so I wouldn't hold it against her to have added the eyepatch to Natsuo merely for the "cool" factor. But I think there's more depth in that.
For example, I have a feeling that it probably has to do with Nagisa not liking him as much as she likes Youji.
