"What do you mean? How I am supposed to see how others are because I am pink?" he asked rather confused. He always thought he was just plan ugly and that there wasn't much rhyme or reason to it. "Your confusing me now."

Rhapsody blushed and felt a bit stupid. He hadn't actually thought about that but it wasn't like he judged others on what they looked like, just himself. "I don't judge others on thier looks...just myself. And I am sure others judge me that way. It's not too hard to see that I am a very bright shade of pink." he said somewhat innocently. He was a bit worried over her sigh as it sounded that she was frustrated with him. He didn't want to make her mad so she would storm off...it had been a while since he met anyone...well he hadn't met anyone ever since he had become and adult.

"Yeah, but I probably would have delt with it better if I wasn't abandoned when I was little." he said knowing full well that she was right. But he just couldn't let it go that easily.

"You were..." Leilani's eyes went wide, she couldn't believe such a thing could happen. Her voice died off and she shook her head. It must've been bad, she couldn't imagine being without her family.

"Yeah, my mother left before I even came out of my basket! But atleast I had my father and grandmother there. You mentioned that you live with your father too?" he asked. Maybe her mother wasn't around much like his.

"I do...I don't see my Momma, brother or sister that often either though." That made Leilani sad, she missed her family, especially her siblings she hadn't seen them since she'd grown.

"But you have atleast met them haven't you? I haven't met my mother nor my sister." he said almost bitterly. His father had told him he had a sister, if he hadn't he would have never known he had siblings.

He shook his head. "I don't even know what they look like or if they even want to see me. Besides, why don't they come looking for me since they were the ones who left me?" he said wondering why he was talking to a strange mare aobut his problems but didn't ponder on the thought. "Besdies, I am not sure if I even want to know who they are."

"Well I..." at this he couldn't quit come up with an answer. He never really thought he sulked over it that much nor did he realize that he did. he stood there and just blinked a couple of times and thought of something to say. "Hm..I don't know?" he said questioningly and looked at the ground a bit embarassed.

Rhapsody's head shot back up at the mention of being embarassed. "I wasn't embarassed!" he exclaimed a bit hurt but shrugged it off. He really didn't want to scare her off by being rude, now that they had begun to talk. "I don't know about secretly wishing I wasn't alone anymore either. Wouldn't I know that about myself? Atleast I don't think I am secretly wishing anything..." he said trailing off into thought. He had never given much thought to anything about himself besides his color. He really had no clue about anything about himself. How sad was that?!
