When the fire had lit, he quickly dove into the shadows. "Creative.." he thought, Putting his plan into action. He slinked from one shaded area to another, getting closer to her. He slid himself right next to her and whispered, "Hi Ness.."

A smirkful grin spread across one side of her face. That same side turned to get a look at him. "Your timing... is... well.. impeccable..." She smiled at him in a way she knew that he loved for her to look at him.
Then, a feeling of surprise crept upon her as her mind started to click. "Hey.. how'd you find me anyways? I find it beyond coincidence you just happened to be exploring the same cave as me." She playfully let her tongue roll out of her mouth and blow at him gently, as not to let any saliva fly.

He smiled, turning around to look at her from an upside down point of view, "It was easy. I went to your house, you weren't there.. I saw the note, and I just.. well..", he snickered, "Followed my nose," He flipped himself around and hugged her. "Your really silly in a dark cave alone," he smiled, "You do have a bit of a gaze though, being able to go that far without a flashlight,"

Ness just watched him feeling rather surprised. Surprised again when he kept changing spots. She kept watching him with her eyes. Then, she smiled. "Oh.. so you stalked me here? I guess that's all right.. but.. I was about to go to sleep. I was making camp for the night. As luck would have it, I was wishing someone were here to keep me company."
She gave him a pleased smiled. Then, she moved to pull part of the sleeping bag back to crawl in it, scooting over to leave him room. She remembered how cold he gets when on a cave floor at night. "This won't be warm like the time we slept in the cove of pillows and blankets... try to stay close..."

He happilly slipped under into the warmed sleeping bag. Fluffing out his fur, he stayed close to her, looking at her. "Guess a wish was granted," he spoke softly, yawning. "I am extremely tired though," he mumbled, having his eyes half closed, "..my sleep has been messed up this last week.."

Ness just had to give into what felt like endless bouts and rounds of giggles, snerks, and snickerings. She knew full well that reason was largely due to her. He was starting to sleep at her house a lot... and he seemed to always want to talk all night... And, the time she went to his house; he kept scooting too far away and got all cold.
She closed her eyes. "Yeah. I guess you're right. Maybe you're lucky.. cuz that wish came to me in the form of you." She just smiled as she settled in for the night.

He smirked, "I know you would have gotten scared, so I had to come," he teased her, before settling it after her. It took him a little while, but, he finally fell asleep.

Ness blinked her eyes open. Since it was always dark in the caves at this depth. It was hard to tell what time of day it was. The cave especially seemed rather dark since the campfire had died down. Her eyes just moved around slowly as she was waking up.
She started to twitch her body, and she felt something warm beside her. She turned her head. Oh yeah. Victor. She decided not to wake him up just yet. It gave her time to think. She liked him an awful lot, but not enough to make any committments to him. She had been trying her hardest to always be straightforward with him. She liked him a lot.. .just... she wasn't ready to mate anyone yet.
She sighed as there were no new thoughts; just the same ones she had all week already. She just shrugged and gently crawled out of the sack trying not to wake him up. She went to her bag to find something to drink.

He let off a small stretch, letting his body shake a little. He yawned to himself, opening his eyes slowly. Darkness met his gaze, then it faded back to it's usual 'night' settings. He sat up slowly, not noticing his fur was a wreck yet. He looked to her and smiled, "Morning sweet stuff," he spoke softly to her, still trying to wake up.

Ness just glanced at him out of the corner of her eye as she stood drinking some water. Then, she looked around the room, turning her flashlight on.
She returned her eyes to Victor. "I wonder how far down this cave really goes. I think we shouldn't stay too long in this spot. Who knows how long we've been sleeping. Let's pack up..." She then went back to the sleeping bag waiting for him to get out of it.
When she saw how ... ruffled he was from sleeping on the floor. She smirked. "Heh. Guess this really is roughing it for you huh? Luckily, my fur is kept in such condition at almost all times except for this trip.. it will need more than sleeping on the floor to make mine look bad."
Then, she hurried and gathered what was left of the campfire that was still useable. And, she packed up her gear, getting ready to continue on with her grand expedition.

He smiled, getting his own bag and placing it with himself too. He though opened it and brought out a coarse brush. "..I kinda do that sometimes when I sleep," he spoke, yawning again. "Eh," he shrugged, following her and brushing his fur.

She watched him for a few minutes out the corner of her eyes, in that way that doesn't seem like she's looking even though she really is. She figured to herself that he must be in the caves a lot; since he seemed to be quite settled with these sorts of things. That was good to know. If this trip hit any hard going; hopefully he would know what to do.
Ness decided to leave pieces of ribbon tied to certain points on the walls as they went so they wouldn't get lost. Then, they came into an even larger cavern. On it's north wall, it split into two tunnels. And, on the far right, there was another shaft opening into even lower levels. Ness walked up to the shaft and shined her light in it.
She looked at Victor. "Which way should we go?" She really felt a little at a loss of which way to take.

"Hum..", he scratched his chin, looking at both entrances. "Our first conundrum..", he looked left to right, closing his eyes and keeping his ears tilted up. "..I'm looking at Right," he replied, nodding. "You okay with it?", he asked her, placing his brush back into his bag.

She looked at him for a few moments, almost feeling some kind of draft blow softly through her fur. "Yeah. Ok. We'll go with your gut instinct. I bet your instincts in caves are gonna be better than mine." She walked away from the shaft in the floor, trying to remember it's there in case they came back this way.
Once they started into the right tunnel, it started to get a little shorter, to where the ceiling was decending all the way down. It looked like it wasn't much a few feet higher than they were.

He smiled, following behind her, "Indeed, I don't like to brag, but..I do know my way around a cave or two," he chuckled slightly, holding his paws to the nearest wall, to feel the cold rocks on his paws.
