Haru Tachibana
The demon king smirked. As the jet of water closed in on him, Sieg jumped over it.

"Yuki!"

Because their souls were linked by the pendant, Yuki knew what Sieg wanted her to do. As Sieg jumped over the jet, Yuki responded by pointing her staff at the jet, instantly turning it into a column of ice with several small spikes jutting out in a linear pattern upwards toward Wolf. Normally, there wouldn't be merely enough friction for Sieg to run across ice, even with the spikes. But with Yuki's mastery of water and ice aiding him, walking across water and ice was a simple task, as long as she was supporting him.

As such, he raced up the spikes with the ball of purple energy in his right hand and Yuki trailing right behind him. His left hand was still crackling with that same red lightning as he made his way up towards Wolf for his next attack.

Wolf smirked back, so he thought he was clever, using his own attack against him? What an idiot! It was the simplest thing in the world to break off the connection the the now ice ramp. While Sieg was undoubtedly holding it upright, that much ice was too heavy to stand without some form of support, all Wolf had to do was move the spout away. The thing moved quite fast for something of it's size, getting about ten feet away from the ramp within seconds of the demon's charge. The platform Wolf was standing on was easy enough to move along with it, just set a small amount of the water at the side and it was pushed along. By the time Sieg got to the top, Wolf would be well enough away to avoid any hand to hand attacks. Seeming almost bored, Wolf began grabbing handfuls of water from the air as he moved along, slowly combining them together into a larger orb. "Come on now," he called to his opponent, "do try and keep up with me.."

((My last post for the night, I'll look forward to seeing your response in the morning! >^.^< ))

Haru Tachibana
Wolf was truly too naive to his liking. Sieg was a veteran of hundreds of battles and developed strategies for any situation. After the first few rounds of battle, he had already developed over twelve strategies to defeat him with. And right now, he'd show him one of them.

Wolf should have learned by now that Sieg always had another out. He should have learned that when he charged up both arms instead of one for his attacks. After judging his opponent's age and what he did during the battle so far, he deemed him to be cocky and would probably move away from him as he was coming. Now he'd suprise him.

Heh...does he truly think close-range is my only specialty?

As Sieg reached the top and Wolf moved away on his platform, he raised his left hand to the sky. The electrical energy contained in that limb was discharged into the air as a mass of red lightning. Moments later, red lightning clouds formed, and one by one, a thunderbolt would shoot down from the sky to Wolf's location. This would continue happening until a total of forty thunderbolts rained down upon Wolf, and each time they would hit anything, they would explode into powerful clouds of electricity. Each time he moved, the thunderbolts would aim for that spot next.

Ryuujin Ban Rai...

Quote:
Dragon King Heavy Thunder - The user focuses electrical energy into their weapon and shoots it into the sky. Thunderclouds form, and twenty powerful bolts of yellow lightning rain down upon the area. Each thunderbolt erupts into an explosion of pure lightning energy immediately after it impacts.
Mage Drive: x2 Magic Combo (40 bolts total)

But that wasn't the end of Sieg's onslaught. He still had the ball of purple energy in his right hand. That's where his next idea came forth. As soon as the ice started to crumble after he discharged the electricity from his left arm and the thunderclouds appeared, he slammed the purple energy into the ice column. The purple ball would then explode, shattering the ice column into thousands of ice shards that were charged with double-powered red lightning from the ball (Double thanks to the Mage Drive.) Yuki would then use her ice mastery to shoot the thousands of shards at Wolf's column of water in a wide angle.

If enough shards of electrically-charged ice were to hit either Wolf or the column, he would be electrocuted from beneath or directly. If Wolf turned the column to ice, the ice shards would be repelled, but not the lightning. If he got hit by any one of the forty thunderbolts, he would also be electrocuted from above. Add those two attacks together, and Wolf would soon understand why Sieg had never lost a battle.

((I would here like to note, science is my friend. cool ))

Well, this was something of a problem. Lightning bolts were never his friend, always they made things difficult. Personally, he wasn't worried a whit about the ice shards, whatever the heck that thing behind Sieg's back was, it was rather foolish to throw ice at him. Although he had to admit he was rather curious to find out how she had managed to get electricity into the stuff. (Ice isn't a cunductor in case you were wondering. It will conduct small ammounts, but not enough to do any real damage.) Still, the lightning had to be delt with now. With that thought in mind, he dropped, right down to the ground, through the pillar of water as it collapsed about him. The interesting thing being, that it wasn't collapsing down, but up, forming a dome over Wolf's head that as he landed, connected with the ground, sinking in slightly, leaving him with a good three or four feet of free space in any direction((Well, other than down. XD)). Ice might not be a good conductor of electricity, but water was. Sieg could rain lightning down on this for weeks, it would all hit the dome and conduct through it into the ground without touching anything beneath it's shelter. The ice shards were indeed, little trouble at all, any that hit the water dome, would simply melt, discharging their energy through it and into the ground. "Come on now," Wolf cat-called, "I thought you were better than all that!" He still held the large orb of water in his right hand, now roughly the diameter of a medium pizza, although he was already feeding some of it into his open canteen for later use.

((Oh yeah, g'morning everyone!))

Haru Tachibana
Sieg shook his head. Foolish, foolish indeed for him to still underestimate him. Now instead of red lightning, Sieg was enveloped in pure red light. By walking up to Wolf and raising his left hand into the sky, he discharged that red light into the air and rained down a torrent of white laser beams. They would rain down on Wolf one by one just like his previous lightning attack, but these were by far more powerful. Not only were they white-hot (much too hot to be cooled by water or normal ice), but each time the lasers hit something, they would explode and scatter mini-lasers in every direction (even down), further increasing their white-hot piercing abilities.

"Shenron Ban Rai."

Quote:
A much more powerful version of Ryuujin Ban Rai. Instead of yellow lightning, twenty massive white-hot lasers shoot down from the sky. The lasers are capable of piercing through tough armors and barriers, and have the ability to scatter into smaller explosions of mini-lasers in every direction upon impact. Mage Drive: x2 Power, x2 Combo (40 lasers total)

As for Yuki, her time was drawing to a close rather quickly. As Sieg walked toward Wolf and fired off the red light, she would be charging up her own attack. The temperature would slowly begin to drop degree by degree, and ice crystals would start to form on her staff. Of course, Sieg would be immune to this due to their Soul-Link (as well as the lasers, since they were still too-hot to be cooled by the change of temperature yet), but it was evident she was charging up a very powerful attack soon enough.

((Ok, I think a short explanation of how Wolf's powers work is in order here. So as to not appear to be god-modding with this next post.

Wolf is an aquakenetic, his will is strong enough and he has such a deep understanding of water ect that he can manipulate it on a molecular level. Hence, when he creates ice, he simple sticks the H2O threads that make up water, together to make ice. To make steam, he breaks them up, that sort of thing. Since, however, this reaction is not brought on by cold or heat, neither cold or heat affects it. Of course as soon as he takes his will off of it, the steam, water, ice ect. would follow natures intended course as dictated by the temp.

Now then, on with the post. By the way, did you ever consider the fact that your character has enough powers for an entire comic convention?.. He's way to overpowered...))

Well, this would be somewhat more technical, but Wolf could manage it. With a flick of his wrist, he froze the dome to ice, forming facits on the surface so as to refract the superheated light away. More specifically, toward the advancing Sieg. Admittedly, this took a little refining, and the first five lasers or so flew off to the sides to crash into walls or the ground, buy eventually he got the proper sequence of facits. Perhaps it was just the ringing sound the crystal ice was producing, but was the ground shaking again? Yes, there was that rumble...

Haru Tachibana
~...+ @Jack: Why did you give up already?

@Shadow: Sieg started off just like all my other characters: A basic skeleton with basic powers. From there, my battles determine how my charaters grow. In other words, I RP every single new power and ability my characters get. 590 battles (Plus RPing in over 50 different threads) does wonder for your characters. But if you don't prefer to fight my veteran characters...then I'll use a newer character for our next battle if you'd like.

@Nihilistic: That's true, but I'll go with Shadow on this one. XD +...~

"Heh..."

Red lightning coursed through Sieg's body. Reflecting his own attack back at him? Like no one ever though of that before. The red lightning around him created an electromagnetic shield of sorts, reflecting his own attack around him harmlessly.

"Enough games. Mirage Dance!!"

Sieg's aura rose to new heights. From his aura, a clone made entirely of his aura split off and stood next to him. Inside the protective barrier, red sparks shot out in all different directions from their bodies. This next attack was going to be big.

Haru Tachibana
~...+ I guess since neither of us is willing to go first, I will. +...~

Sieg turned and stared with half-lidded eyes at the man on the other side of the room. Apparently he was showcasing his power by manipulating the sand around him and causing the very air around him to crackle with electricity.

...Hm...

Sieg knew better than to underestimate his opponents. He knew far too well that the man was only showing a tiny bit of his power to try and frighten off his opponents. As a veteran of over ten-thousand battles though, Sieg didn't even flinch. In a flat, rather bored voice, he called out to the man.

"Hey you. Are you interested in a match?"

Dark Forbidden Vampire
::Forbidden quickly responded to the mans question::"i would love to throw down as some might say"::Forbidden would get into a fighting stance that seemed both offensive and defensive, he would smile and begin to laugh insanely as if possessed, his dark energy would pulsate once more to about fifteen percent now, the sand would burst from under his feet as if a mine went off, only the sand in turn would be mixed with dark chi energy, this deadly mixture sand and chi would blast off in all directions, although his laugh sounded insane his face would harbor no emotion::"come let us do this"::Forbidden would watch to see what his opponent would do::

Haru Tachibana
~...+ ...I must be a fast typer or something. Oh well, I'll go with it. +...~

Sieg replied rather nonchalantly with his own telepathic powers.

Fine. I accept your challenge.

With that being said, Sieg stood up and brushed some stray sand from his pants. He easily hefted his halberd back into it's back holster and rested his katana on his left shoulder, then began walking toward the other man.

As he neared, he felt the other man's aura rise with each passing step. The shadows seemed to twist and move of their own accord, obviously because the other man was already gathering his energy and gauging him.

About five feet away, Sieg stopped and bowed lightly.

"I'm Seig. Sieg Tachibana. Nice to meet you."

Sieg lifted his head back up and stood patiently, waiting for the first move. In typical Seig-style, he didn't raise his aura, or repress it. Only high-level opponents could sense his underlying power, but even then it was difficult to gauge him.

Dark Forbidden Vampire
::Forbidden would smile nodding to the mans words::"let have an honorable match sir, my real name is Deshwitet, but i am known as Forbidden"::Forbidden would jump back raising his left hand in mid-air, suddenly the surrounding arena area would haze over with a dark red energy dome, this in turn would cause the area inside the dome to increase in gravity, Forbidden would smile as he watched to see what his opponent would do,this dome was impregnable from the inside but as far as the outside of the dome anything could enter, nothing by all mean could leave the dome once inside no matter the molecular structure::

::Forbiddens next course of action would be to raise the gravity more::"Magnify Gravity Bind"::the inner part of the dome's gravity would begin to rise, the secret to this trick was the fact that Every object in the universe attracts every other object with a force directed along the line of centers for the two objects that is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of sepperation between the two objects, meaning that both Forbidden and the dome itself would both harbor an intense gravitational pull each of their own, the gravity would increase to about one thousand times normal earth gravity::

)(damn im sorry it took so long i had to remember what i studied on Grav. pulls)(
PostPosted: Sat Jul 28, 2007 7:34 am

Haru Tachibana
"Pleased to meet you, Forbidden." Sieg bowed again and walked a couple feet backwards. He soon found that it became increasingly harder for him to walk around as the gravity become more and more intense.

....My opponent can manipulate gravity, too? Interesting...

Sieg let out a huge sigh and remained steady. His body weighed more than a few tons now, but it didn't seem to bother him as much as his opponent thought it would.

Hmm...

At a greatly reduced pace, Sieg dashed toward his opponent and spun in the air, aiming a powerful spinning roundhouse kick at Forbidden. Regardless of whether it hit or not, Sieg stumbled backwards, only to follow up with a cyclone kick at the chest, then at the head. Even though his speed was reduced, his kicks were also a thousand times more powerful in this type of gravity because of how much each leg actually weighed now.

Dark Forbidden Vampire
::Forbidden would smile watching the man bound towards him as if he were in slowmotion, the mans attack soon found their target far harder to hit than expected, what Forbidden lacked in power housing he made up in speed by far, Forbidden would smile as maneuvered around the mans flaunting kicks, his body would twist and contort dodging each attack as they came quiet close to hitting him, it was as if he was using less power as to save energy for a counter::

::As Forbidden dodged the last attack he would be too close for anything strong enough to knock him back, so with that in mind Forbiddens aura began to manifest its self so much so that it became what is commonly known as a tetra shield, this allowed for a much heavier defense than just simply blocking attacks, as Forbidden did so he would smile, he would bounce backwards, at that instant he would fade in a blurry of uncanny speed, since the gravity was so high there wouldn't be any dust flying about as his feet hit the ground, this would in turn begin to leave after images about the arena, the only way this would stay possible would be for him to continue a steady pace::
PostPosted: Sat Jul 28, 2007 7:36 am

Haru Tachibana
Sieg's shin connected with the shield with a crackling thud. Purple lightning crackled from the point of impact and continued to crackle around Seig's left leg as he landed neatly back onto the floor and looked around him.

...Zanzoken?

Sieg stayed in one spot, but kept his eyes moving. An after-image technique was only usable with fighters who possessed high-speed, but one of the flaws was that it requires constant motion for it to be successful. If the person faltered in their pace for even a millisecond, it could give away their position.

So Sieg remained passive, and chose instead to kneel down on the ground and lightly place his left palm on the ground below him. He took a deep breath, and closed his eyes, relaxing his body even more than it was.
