His grin only grew wider as she laughed, and he laid his head on his paws, finished with the meat. "They think themselves Gods, and threaten those who don't share their opinion. An ugly tradition..." he trailed off, staring at the carcass as he also reminisced. "You're never you're own wolf in a pack. Just part of a bigger one."
He couldn't remember much, unfortunately, but who gave him his scars and why. The higher-ups of his birth pack - he assumed - struck him down for not being present at a few rituals and publicly denouncing their religion, and from there sentenced him to death, 'sacrificed to spare the pack', they said.
He chuckled loosely, shifting to lay on his side with his head held up. "Pleasantly so, indeed."

Luna was finding that the two wolves shared alot in common. She chuckled as the male wolf chuckled not really sure why she was chuckling at this point but she just couldnt help it.
Her stumick was satisfied at this point. She had eaten her fill of the deer and just felt like laying down. Circling round and round the female wolf found a comfitable spot on the ground on which to lay on. Kneeling down and letting out a sigh of happiness she layed down resting her maw on her paws.
"That as alot of meat." She finally said. "That deer had enough to feed a family I'd say." Chuckling at the thought of a wolf family fighting over pieces of deer. She let out another happy sigh. If the wolves equally split the remaining meat they would each have enough meat to last a good three days or maybe more.

"Wouldn't matter to me, I've not got one." And don't want one! He thought, laying his head down as he looked at her. Twin tails curled at the tips idly, unscarred eye searching Luna and then settling absently on the kill.
"Where you from?" Letarrio asked, licking his chops of the drying blood and bits of chewed flesh. And after that, he'd normally ask 'Do ya have a sister?', but since this one helped him catch a meal, he figured he'd be nice.
For a little while, anyway.

Luna blinked at the question 'where you from'? She was alittle ashamed to say that she was born a pack wolf but her true nature was naive and couldnt help but tell the truth.
"Well.." she began, "I was born to an omega female in a pack." Pausing for a second as she caught her breath, "I didnt really like the way the pack worked and didnt think it was fair how my mother was threated. I didnt like that no matter what my mother never stood up for her self so as soon as I got the chance to leave I left." She was alittle ashamed of her past but she had to accept it.
"Where are you from?" She asked bluntly.

"Pack child, eh? Born to an omega? I thought mating was exclusive only to the alphas..." He muttered, not really astonished, but amused. That's how it was in his pack, and he shrugged his shoulders, tails twitching.
Letarrio blinked stupidly as she returned the question, eye searching the little area as he sought out an answer. Truth be told, he didn't remember his childhood. Only the recent year and a half was available to him. During the fights of his old pack, he had been beaten unconcious and probably had a concussion for a while, which damaged his memory... atleast that's what the lone could deduce.
"I can remember being in a pack. Didn't last long." A weak chuckle, and he pulled himself back up into a sitting position to gnaw at his paws. "Like I said, troublemaker."

Luna chuckled with him, the two wolves laughter echoing out into the forest almost hauntingly. "Trouble maker?" Her intrest was peaked. She wanted to know a little bit more about this so called wolf troublemaker.
For some reason Luna trusted this twin tailed wolf. He had a very easy going aura about him. Something friendly. Luna was cautious with most wolves but she could really relate to Letarrio for some reason she couldn't quite get.

"I'm apparently a disturbance among the female sector of the pack." The glinting orange eye rolled here, tounge lolling out as he chuckled. "Though I did disturb a few males too..." He trailed off on that remark, looking mischievously over to Luna, twin tails still twitching. "They threw me out, if I remember correctly, to show me who's boss."
The great loner shifted, pushing himself up with powerful legs, ears pinned forward as he grinned. "They didn't do too good of a job." His large, scarred head swiveled back and forth as he sniffed out the area, and nudged the carcass with his muzzle. It was true, he hadn't met anyone that he could be at ease with in quite a while, and he mused over the thought of being friends -- or a little more. For a little while.
Oooh, disturbances. That was his nature.

"Disturbance?" Luna repeated with a smile. She started to chuckle some after he finished talking, she couldnt help it. His story was kind of humorious in a way. "The farmer kicked the fox out of the hen house in other words," She said with a chuckle. She found it funny.
Regaining her face to normal she let out a sigh, after all the laughter she needed to. "Bet you had fun though," She said as she started to chuckle again. She couldnt help it, Letarrio had an air about him that let her feel more at ease so she could chuckle witho out feeling out of place for laughing.
"Thats quite a story," Her laughter had subsided and she was fine now. "So now you move from place to place?" Her tail started to wag, Letarrio was intresting and she was having fun hearing about him.

"As a censored version, oh yes," though he knew little of farms and hen houses. His single eye winked as he looked over to Luna, and he idly licked his chops as he tore off a piece of scrap from the deer, nibbling savagely on it as she continued. He was glad for her laughter - he could be quite a charmer at times, and he used his easy-going nature as a lure for whoever was willing to bite.
He wasn't sure if this girl would let him reel her in, though she seemed interested enough, so he kept on trying.
"Oh, fun is quite the understatement." Letarrio remarked, one of his tails twitching and then wagging as she laughed again. The tails curled in towards his back and out again as he nodded his head, one ear pulling forward while the other fell back. "Mm, I guess I'm vaguely nomadic. Whenever I manage to eat all the prey in one spot, I pick up and find another. Sometimes I follow packs... if only for the scrap and pre-made dens they leave behind." He shrugged shortly, amused at her curiosity.
"It's not particularly interesting, but I manage," he added with a grin, gesturing with his paw towards her. "And what about you, Luna? Ya looking for somewhere to go too?"

Luna's eyes wandered to the direction of her old stump, "I am not much for wandering," She started, her bright pink eyes on him again and a smile spread across her maw, "I like to collect stones. You know shiny ones that the waters have washed up. If I started to travel I would have to leave them behind," She was a bit ashamed of her self but it was the truth.
How ever she had always wanted to go explore, maybe find different kinds of stones on her way out and about. Maybe even find gold, she had heard stories of gold before. It wasnt a store but some kind of metal that was soft and glimmered yellow, sometimes white. She had always wanted to see some.
"I could always come back for my collection," She started again this time gold on her mind and other precious jewels, "Rocks cant just get up and leave on their own." She let out a bit of a laugh. "Always wanted to know what was out there."
Luna had really never left the woods before, she was a bit afraid of the big open world. But she wouldnt mind going to see what was out there. It couldnt hurt.

"I'm sure you could find better stones out there. I know I've seen my fair share... 'course I didn't plan on carryin' them around." He muttered, swallowing bits of meat as he spoke. "But you have a collection, huh? Can I see it?" Ragged ears perked at her hobby, and a small smile - not a smirk, nor a grin - pulled at his lips. This lone wolf liked that particular quirk of magpie-tendencies... it was cute.
A little weird and insecure, but definitely cute.
Letarrio stood slowly, a piece of flesh still dangling from his mouth. "Hell, I bet the best place to look for pretty things like that is near Clabar... that volcano makes some nice stones. Maybe you should go towards there? Or even around Feileadh. The weird woods, probably find some crystals or somethin' in there." He nodded to himself, tails wagging. "I've also seen a few wolves that wear their stones... nifty."

Luna smiled and pointed to her ears, she had two small earings in her right ear. "These are made of gold," She began, "A shaman wolf put them in my ear when I was a teen, he knew everything about stones. Thats what started my curiosity." She was smiling now. Even though she knew it was a bit odd for a wolf to be obsessed with stones she was smiling.
"I can show you my collection, but mostly they are just small crystals and a few shiny stones and a few (very few) gems, I dont think that they are all that great." Luna's reason for liking stones so much was all in her name. Luna was not the name given to her from birth, since she was an omega's pup from birth she had never been given a proper name. When she ran away from home she ran into a wise shaman who seemed a bit crazy but told her alot about rocks and how knowing they were to this world. He pierced her ears with gold earings and gave her the name Luna after the most knowing stone of all, the moon.
"Can I travel with you?" Luna bluttered out after a bit of silence.

Letarrio also had a couple of studs in his bitten ears, and he pawed at them idly as she pointed to her own. "I've got some o' those. Don't know who put 'em there or what they're made of, but I've had 'em ever since I can remember." The lone stated offhandedly as he disturbed the dirt with his nails.
"Well, if you'll lead the way to the collection, we'll see about your proposition..." he started, though paused as he turned back to the carcass to rend a rather large portion, more than enough for two wolves for a few days, from the bones. Picking it up gingerly, he steadied himself, as the meat was a bit heavy, and turned again to the female. "Ver latah," his voice was muffled as he spoke through the meal.

The female grasped the meat between her jaws. The sweet juices trickled down her maw, and she began to drag it in the direction of her stump helping the male drag the meat. She had eaten her fill but the taste of the meat in her mouth made her mouth water some. It was heavy but nothing she couldnt handle. For her size she was pretty strong even thought she looked small.
The dead deer left a path of blood and other things as they dragged it in the direction of her stump. Through dried leaves and dirt and the mushroom patch til they had finally gotten to the area of their desire. Luna's stump. Nothing from the out side looked spectacular about it. It looked like a normal stump, but as they got closer it started to shimmer from cracks where the stump had started to give way.
Luna dropped The carcass and padded over to the stumps entry with a smile clearly on her maw. "This is my home," She said proudly revealing a mass collection of various rocks and gems and crystals. Chains of silver hung from various places and human watches and other trinkets which were shiny were scattered about. From inside her stump there was a glow of chaos. Quiet lovely really once your eyes adjusted to it.
"Its a bit much, but I like it." She was now looking down at the ground a bit ashamed she invested so much time into her collection of treasures.

The lone male was quite surprised that Luna could tug at the meat just as well as he could. He was used to uptight, bitchy, damsel-in-distress type females, and even more used to impressing them. This, however, was not the case between Letarrio and Luna - she was as much accustomed to living her own life as he was, and the ruffian found it slightly admirable.
As the carcass was momentarily forgotten, the tan male took the opportunity to poke his head into the entrance to the stump, his good eye blinking painfully as he adjusted to the sparkling colored light.
It was very pretty inside, and the glittering, changing hues of the gems and stones and curious baubles added a unique touch, exotic and homely at the same time. "Ah, it sparkles like the rainbow, Luna. It's magnificent, like a magpie's nest!" exclaimed Letarrio, an ear-to-ear grin revealing glistening fangs.
