Feeling a little lethargic himself, Keahi stretched again. "Aw, it's nice to get out sometimes, even if crowds aren't your thing. You just need to know when to come to your destination and certain types of people will usually be there, if that makes sense." An ear twitched and the firecat-fox murred in realizing that he was becoming too comfortable to stay like this or he would doze off. But he was so comfortable... He glanced back at Blythe to find the butterfly cat was having similar trouble. That knowledge made him feel less guilty about being so rude in the company of others.

"I know its nice to get out sometimes, I just usually go out with my brother only, I just dont have much faith in this world, after it taking our parents, wether I knew them or not, I just prefer to stay close to home and my brother." He said as he uncurled himelf and stood up "care to go get coffee or something?" He asked the other, thinking it might be good to get away from this heat that seemed to be putting not only himself to sleep but the hybrid also.
"It will be my shout, it will get us out of here and maybe we can get to know each other a little more also if we arnt around the fire that seems to be putting us to sleep." He said with a soft chuckle, holding out his hand for the other to take and help himself get up with if need be.
"Besides, I could go for a nice peice of chocolate gateu or double chocolate mud cake, cant get that here so why not go out for coffee? I know of a sweet place, its a trendy little cafe that stays open all night. I used to work there during the day and then go to the pub at night to work, the boss of the cafe is really nice, I am sure he will let us have coffee and cake or whatever for free even if we do want to pay for it.
He got into some deep trouble when we were working there, we helped him out of it and basically we have been friends of his ever since, it would be nice to see him again, thats if you want to." He said to the other, picking up his coke with the other hand, thinking of his brother and hoping his brother was alright, he hadnt heard from him in a few days.

Keahi nodded sympathetically at Blythe's sentiment of the world. But there were some good things that went with the bad, as he later admitted. Keahi preferred to focus on the good things if at all possible, so when Blythe suggested the coffee shop, he was all for it. As long as the pub sold non-alcoholic beverages, that too sounded fine. "Sure, I'd love to go," he said with a purr as he rose to his feet, taking the other's hand as it was offered to him.

Blythe smiled at the other "great, lets leave this place" he said as he looked one last time at the fire, the heat was so warm and welcoming it seemed a shame to leave it but he did anyway. "Did you bring a coat or anything?" He asked, knowing it was a bit cold out and him being a fire hybrid seemed odd to ask such a thing but still, he was assumed, though he probably shouldnt have, even the hybrid could get cold sometimes.

Keahi followed Blythe's gaze back to the hearth. "We can come back to the fire later on if you like." He grinned. "Oh no, no coat. I don't need one." Still holding the other's hand, the firecat-fox sent a gentle wave of heat down his arm where it gathered in his hand. It warmed them both for a few moments until he let it dissipate. Then he let go of Blythe's hand; he didn't want the other to feel uncomfortable.

Right now, the butterfly wasnt uncomfertable, if anything it was a small welcome to hold the others hand even if it was only a friendship thing. After the heat warming him up a bit more it was a deffinate welcome "thank you" he said sincerly, feeling a bit warmer as he placed his hands into his coat pocket.
"Lets go" he said happily as he started towards the door, picking his coke up on the way and taking a sip of his coke as he went.

Taking the thanks as thanks for offering to return to the shop, Keahi shrugged. "No problem." Nodding as Blythe headed for the door, he followed then held the door for him as they passed through. "Lead the way," he said, though he walked by Blythe's side.

Blythe walked out into the cool night air ande shuddered a little, he might love winter and cold and what not but that was usually when he was either dressed up warmer then he was or was snuggled up on the couch by a warm fire, blanket over himself and with a nice hot cup of hot chocolate. He started down the path leading away from the stoe and onto the street, staying close by the other since he hated going out at night alone more so then going out during the day alone, he grew up on the streets, true, but he still hated them greatly given who was capable of doing what to others on them.
"Maybe I should have warn something more, this air is a bit colder then I care to like" he said as he carried on walking, glad that the cafe wasnt to far from the store, ten or so minutes and they should be there.

Keahi made a face in response to Blythe's discomfort. "Well, I suppose we could go back... or run there." His voice made it apparent that those options just wouldn't do. They'd be all hot and sweaty and ick. "Heh..." With a grin, he sidled up against Blythe shivering in his coat, draped an arm across the other's shoulders, and his body temperature rose. Call it a martial arts thing. Anyone can do it, but who else has an arm that feels like a heat wrap? And the embrace was a lazy, friendly embrace, but in the dark, who knew what others thought.

Blythe, admitedly, was a little taken aback at what the other did but wasnt about to decline the invite of warmth so he wraped an ar around the others waist, not caring what others thought and cuddled agiesnt the cat. " Now, this was deffinatly a better option and brings new meaning to the phrase ' body heat'" he said with a small cuckle as he kissed the others cheek in thanks.
"Thank you" he said as he kept close to the other, thankful the hybrid was around for more then just taking advantage of his heating ability, he was pleased to have made a friend tonight more so.

"Yeah, I guess so." Returning the embrace was not surprising, but the thank-you kiss was, just a little. Keahi chuckled. "So where is this coffee shop?"

"It's just up ahead, shouldnt be to much longer" he said as he looked up from where he was looking, which was at a rose bush, one of his favorite flowers. "Thats it actually" he said pointing at the cafe that was still lit up, only one of the couple of stores in this street that were actually in this stretch of street.

"Oh I see it," Keahi nodded as he looked up at the sign. Glancing first at the other shops both lit up and dark, he looked back down at Blythe and smiled. "Are you feeling any better?"

Blythe looked up at the other and nodded "yes, im fine now, thank you" he said as he let go of the other and entered the store, alot warmer then outside but of course not as warm as his friend but it was pleasent enough. "Lets find a table" he said as he looked at the owner, seeing him serve someone so he decided it was best to just find a table or booth first and then place their order.

"I'm glad," Keahi replied, still smiling. He followed the butterfly-winged cat inside as he pulled away and looked around curiously. It was interesting to note that they were allowed to seat themselves... but perhaps this was "his" table they would be sitting at? "All right. I haven't been to this one before so lead the way."
