Cody looked a bit sad at the rejected offer, but he just shrugged and started eating it
There were a few questions he wanted to ask, some of them not very polite, but because of his new speech problem he had to contain them. It was one of the most annoying things that had ever happened to him, not being able to talk

Bobby patted Cody's hair once again with a smile. As he ate his fish, she crept closer to the shore. Eyeing the water she made a choice. Carefully, she put one hoof in the water, and then the other. The large woman eased herself in. Her hooved feet hit the bottom quickly, the water came up to her collarbone. She smiled again, and splashed a little water to Cody. "Fish good?"
Dancer returned, a little grumpy that her mistress was no longer on land. She paused at the shore, stick in her mouth. With a kind of exasperated doggy-snort, the pooch jumped in, making a bigger splash than Bobby's pathetic water-swipe.
"Dancer...!" Bobby grumbled, water now dripping from her curly hair.

Cody only had the fish tail to swallow when he felt being splashed. To him that was an invitation to play, since he was always wet to begin with He splashed both Bobby and Dancer back with a cheeky smile, using his tail to create a big wave and then grabbed Dancer's stick and pulled, trying to get it to toss it again

...and Bobby was wet even more now. Her hair hung now with just a hint to her curls. Her snout twitched as if trying to get more water off it. She grunted a few times as she shook her head. Her eyes sparkled with pleasure just as she attempted to keep a serious expression.
Dancer, did not wait when Cody took her stick away. She lurched in the water joyfully and doggy-paddle-swam the rest of the way. The dog yipped and yapped, begging the boy to throw the stick.

Cody threw the stick towards the river, giving Dancer some time before he chased after her and grabbed the piece of wood before she had the chance. He did this a couple of more times, but then he threw it back to the shore, giving an opportunity for the dog to have her turn
While he waited for the dog to paddle her way and catch the stick, he went back to Bobby and dived, playfully rubbing her legs with the side of his body before resurfacing

Dancer played along, splashing and barking. When the stick went to shore, she crawled up to land with the stick in her mouth. Happy as a clam, the dog lied herself down with the stick and chewed on its end.
Bobby watched fondly, as she would watch a coupld children playing in the pak. When Cody came over, she jumped at his passing. "Eee! That tickles!" She reached down and tried to exchange the favor - tickling the dolphin on his side.

The thick blubber numbed the ticklish effect, but Cody felt the hooves brushing his slick skin. It was a funny feeling, but not as funny as the stiff pig hairs
He decided to show off, since water was his element and it was not everyday he had company, and dived back. With powerful kicks of his tail he gathered up speed and jumped over Bobby's head, soaking her even more when he splashed back in Not exactly one of the most acrobatic of jumps, but it was a well performed arc

Bobby giggled, and walked slowly around. Cody turned and jumped. She watched the whole thing, and as he jumped over her head she pretended to duck and cover as if she was worried he might hit her. When he was back in the water, the woman walked over that way. "That was great, Cody!!!"
For just a moment, the woman was wistful. Never again would she be fast or nimble, her size simply did not allow it.

"Haaannck Yiioo" (Thank you)
Cody did a complete spin in the water, rolling without getting out of place. If Bobby wasn't so big he'd probably just grab her by the arms and drag her over the water for a ride. But the best he could probably do was just keep her afloat before he got to tired

Bobby rested, spreading her arms out. "Weee!" she squeed, laughing kindly. She could tell Cody was getting tired, she didn't blame him. She was big and still weighed a lot. WHen the dolphin boy was exhausted, Bobby patted his head, "Thanks for the 'ride', there! Almost felt like I was flying, there!"

Actually Cody was about to drop dead. Even with the water helping he didn't managed to move Bobby as much as he expected. But it was not going to admit it He simply grinned, though his breath was pretty heavy. His large lungs were having trouble to help his recover from his hard work
He started to drift away. He didn't had enough energy to play anymore, so he just waved goodbye before he dived and swam away. It had been a pretty tired, though fun day

Bobby frowned as Cody struggled for breath. She was worried she had hurt him. Mentally, she was kicking herself. How could she let him do that? She's the adult, she should have been wary of such things.
When the boy turned around to wave, she made sure she smiled back and waved. Then Cody was gone, and Bobby waded back to shore where she struggled to get out of the river. Dancer watched, still playing with her stick.
"Come on, Dancer," Bobby knelt and patted the dog's head. "Let's go back."
