'Naci came to a stop when the flower-covered mare came to one as well. Canting her head to the left a bit she nearly burst into giggles, most of the people she met were rather confused at her hair being made entirely of fire, "Aye, that I am. Are ye afraid o' a wee one like me now, eh?"

Tilting her head to the side, the mare tossed her mane several times. Frightened, no but what was she? Confused that was true but something else, perhaps worried. She knew how fast a fire could spread through a feild of flowers, so somewhere in her mind she believed the little on could burn her at the same rate. "Are you always on fire?" A stupid question of course, the little one didn't have a problem being on fire so that had to be natural some how but it slipped out non the less.

'Naci switched the foot that she had propped up and smiled easily as the other flower-mare stared at him in fascination or was it confusion? She loved this game before others realized she wasn't really that much different from others, they stared at her like some sort of project. "Aye, always.. are ye always nae on fire?" Giggling softly she just stared up at the mare with two wide unblinking amber eyes.

" I try, the best I can any ways to avoid being on fire" Blinking several times, the mare glanced down at the little flaming one. "It seems like unlike you, being on fire is bad for me"

"Weeell, fer me I try ter be on fire as much as possible." A light giggle escaped the filly before winking and beginning to lose interest.. Holding still made here incredibly antsy, hopefuly she'd grow out of it or find a better way to burn energy, "Oh aye.. so what's yer name, eh?"

"Peony, and watch your flame little one you'll set something a blaze that you won't be able to put out your self" Glancing around, the mare's ears pricked. She was sure she could hear water now, but from which direction? Ears flickering a bit, Peony turned towards the sound of water.

"Oh I canna burn things 'less I'm in an awful temper or if I'm scared." Most people shouldn't be told that but the Peony-mare was looking around as if she meant to drag back a bucket of water just-in-case. Bah! She wasn't dangerous unless the time called for it, "So yer Peony, eh? an' why'r ye out an' about terday?"

Shaking her head, the mare turned back to the little one. " Exploring, I've gone through all the forest and most of the clearing... Its boring seeing the same place over and over and over again...So In decided to wander till I hit water then go from there"

"I've nae gone any farther than all o' where me four feet 'er standin'" That was true, but the mare in front of her had had a few years or maybe even more to live a comfortable life. "So, I've nae a single clue as ter what I'm doin'" Chuckling once again 'Naci grinned up at the mare and waited.

Laughing softly, Peony tilted her head to the side. "You have to have some idea on what your doing, or how can you be doing anything at all?" With an odd thought, Peony stepped closer to examine the flaming hair closer. "Can you control the tempature of your hair?"

"Weell, I tend ter find that if I've nae got any expectations... Whenever I find anythin' o' any interest ter me it's twice as cool." Wait, did sophisticated people use the word cool? As she slowly learned more words from her mam 'Naci had tried to get rid of "Gosh!" and "Awesome!" Back on track now... "Weell, I canna control it exactly. Because when I'm afraid er angry it gets hot without me sayin' so."

"I think that makes it all the more clear you can control it....You just don't know how to do with out getting angry or scared" Slowly circling around the little one before stopping, leaning in to get a closer look.

She had never really thought of her mane and tail that way. Why had she been chosen to have a mane and tail made of fire? "I guess yer right, but I canna say that I want ter spend me time trainin' me hair ter do as I say." That made perfect sense, "Most others don' have ter give a care what their hair does.. Why do I?"

"Because, not everyone elses hair can protect them...I mean really mine constantly smells of flowers, but it really does nothing in the protection realm it makes it worse."Stopping again the mare paused to think, how does one train their hair in the first place.

"Weell, some days it'd be nice not ter have someone come runnin' up ter me yellin' I'm on fire an' tryin' ter extinguish me. It does tend ter get old after the first two 'r three times, aye." Even as a basket she had had the threat of water being dumped on her. Of course, she didn't really remember any of that happening. The only things she knew about her time in the basket came from stories told to her by her mam.
