She breathed another laugh. "She is indeed a two Legger,.." she then returned to his origional question of her brother. She sighed. "I come from a family of mostly light and pure,.. my brother however, was born with dark colors, and a rose on his rump, along with thick, black to red wings, and the shape of half of a mask on his face. My parents did not like this,... they sent him away. I too,.. was no liked, at first, and by my mother. She found faults in me,.." She sighed, her words trailing off. Figured,.. she'd think that far into her past.
She had been born only after Erik, and saw him for perhaps a day, maybe two. Their mother disliked both of them, but Erik was sent away. Their father,.. protected her. Barely. She had left on her own free will not much later,.. wanting to find her dear brother.

Nibbling on his bottom lip for a moment, he listened to her story curiously. It sounded like a terrible mess and now he was glad that his parents were so caring. And loved him and his siblings enough to not send them away. "That sounds terrible. I don't understand how a parent could be like that towards their own flesh and blood. I'm sorry you had to go through that, it must of been tough."
A wave of sympathy washed over his face. It truly must of been a sad experiance. But then a light bulb went off in his head. "If you'd like. I could keep a look out for your brother. Maybe help you find him. It's the least I could do for your kindness and snapping me out of my.....mindset." Yiska gave a soft smile. Perhaps he could help in some little way.

Alenazsa couldn't help but to smile lightly. "Though I'm not asking you to help me,... It would be much appreciated, indeed. Thankyou,... Yiska." she nodded her head calmly, then grinned lightly for just a second, before it faded back to her cool smile. "My helping you get out of your... Slump, needs no thanks." She added, tilting her head up alittle, making her bangs fall away from her eyes again, but, as always, her attempts were pointless.

"I can't help it sometimes. Helping people is something I just like doing." Though he wouldn't go overboard on it. Just keeping an eye out for him would do, perhaps.
The stallion gave a slight shrug to her responce as his curly tail flicked back and forth. "Still. I'm glad you came along and talked me out of it."

She nodded her head again. "Well, I'm pleased that my actions hadn't fallen on deaf ears. I probably would have just left you alone to mope, if that were the case." she chuckled softly, patting her right forehoof on the ground a few times, looking down at the completely flattened grass beneith.
She then sighed alittle. Now what? Leave? That didn't seem very right, to just,.. Leave. No no,.. not right at all. So, Stay? Apparently.

Yiska gave a sligh chuckle with a shake of his head. A strang of curl flopping over his nose before he tossed his head to move it back into place. "I'm sure most would have done the same."
Hmmm, now what? The conversation was growing cold and it seemed that the topic at hand was growing less interesting to both of them. "So...do you have any clue as to where your brother might be living? It would be easier to find him if there was a certain place he liked to live. Perhaps some place that reminded him of your home."

Alenazsa sighed alittle. "I'm still not really sure if he's even here; But,... knowing him, he'd be somewhere,... dark, quiet, and, more to himself. It's just a guess, though." She shrugged alittle. "I'm really just not sure... he could be anywhere." She sighed again, dipping her head down softly. Now who was the pesimistic one of the two?

He puffed out his cheeks a little while biting his lower lip as he thought. "Dark, quiet and more to himself huh?" Yiska's eyes moved upward as if the answer was on the inside of his eyelids. "The only places I could think of that are like that are the caves in the mountains, deep in the forests or the graveyard. But...not many Soquili go into the graveyard as Kalona tend to wander there."
Raising an eyebrow as she dipped her head, he nudged her forehead with his nose. The same as she had before earlier. "Don't worry. I'm sure you'll find him. You just gotta keep telling yourself that and when you do it will be a happier time as you'll be able to catch up on all that you have missed."

Now she blinked, when he nosed her. It made her smile softly. "Yeah... Thanks; Yiska." She nodded her head after lifting it. She stared at the ground for a long moment, before looking back to him again.
"Look, now 'you' have gotten 'me' out of a slump... though, I don't think mine was as long as yours." a slight tease of sorta. Her tail flicked alittle as she rose one of her back hooves a bit, before touching it to the ground. She did this a few times, really all absentmindedly.

A soft chuckle rumbled from deep in his chest as the stallion shook his head. Curls bouncing across his forehead before settling back into place. "Seems so. But your slump seems to have more purpose behind it than mine. You really miss your brother is seems and it's understandable that it would bring about such feelings. I would be the same if such a situation occurred with one of my own siblings."
His ears twitched from an itch, but he ignored it for the moment. Leaning your head down and scratching with a back hoof wasn't the most graceful looking thing to do. "Mine was over something stupid. I see now that it wasn't deserving of such feelings. Nor was it worth the time I had wasted moping about."

She breathed another short little laugh.
"But apparently it was reason enough to grab my attention, and hold it for a good time, Hmmn? I am still standing here, afterall." Alenazsa grinned softly, noticing the little twitch in her ear, but that itself didn't hold her attention for long.
She looked back to Yiska. "But hmm.. You really think my little slump was more important? I mean,.. Erik is my brother... that's all... I barely know him, and by now, he's probably... well, if he's alive, I know for a fact, he'd be a full grown Stallion; It's not like he can't take care of himself." She glanced away again, her head dipping only slightly.

"I guess it was a good thing that I was in that slump for a bit then." His tail moved back and forth slowly in thought. It was true though. If she hadn't come along more than likely he probably would of been found out by Vasu and then he would of never heard the end of it!
Nodding his head, he smiled lightly. "Just because you don't know a family member all that well or haven't seen them in a very long time doesn't mean you shouldn't worry about them. Family is always something to care about. Not superficial friendships that are only worth the time when one wants it to be. Though friendships are important too, depending on the type of friendships if is I suppose." His ear twitched again but still he payed no mind. The itch would subside on it's own.
"Even when one is grown and can handle themselves in the world they still need the support of their family. Even if he doesn't show it, I'm sure it would put his mind at ease to know at least you care about his well being."

She smiled. A true, full out,.. smile. Though it was light on her maw,... that's just how her smile's where. Light, but, there. "I'm sure you're right, Yiska." She caught the flick of his ear again, and breathed another laugh. She moved over, and nosed it a few times, before stepping back. "I doubt that'd help much, but...." She trailed off, looking at him, her smile more of a soft grin now.
Alenazsa glanced at the ground, then held her gaze there for a moment, pawing at the ground abit. Something she did alot, usually all absentmindedly. There where alot of things she did without thinking... all in a good sence, of course. She wasn't one of those... half-minded twits that rarely thought, and would act on an impulse. Nooo... no. Not at 'ole...

He had caught her smile before hand and gave one of his own. Though it was more easily seen on his pale face than her's was. Nodding his head, his smile grew a bit more. "Sometimes others don't like to admit such things. But in the back of their mind it puts them as ease."
Yiska gave her a more cheeky grin now as he turned his head a bit. When she nosed his ear, it twitched a few more times in rapid succession. The touch of her muzzle against him made his mind forget about the itch for a second. "It made me forget about it for a bit, so it's itching isn't all that bad now."
The stallion watched her carefully as she glanced and pawed at the ground. Perhaps finding something else to do besides standing around chattering away would be better. "Say, you wanna go find something to do instead of..you know standing around here chattering like two birds?" He didn't have anything particular in mind to do, but if they wandered a bit perhaps it would bring up different things to talk about besides the one currently.

Alenazsa laughed alittle. "Yes,... let's. Standing around for much longer..not only will our legs fall asleep, but we probably will too." the mare nodded calmly, taking a step forward, then motioning with her head for him to lead.
Well... it seems I've.. got myself a good friend to talk to... She smiled alittle at her own thoughts.
Friends,.. as far as Alenazsa was concerned.. where.. good to have. Being alone, with no friends.. what sort of life was that?
