L pondered it, then smiled. "Well, what if you were Kira and were just trying to get on my good side? Light's still at 5%, but you're at 6%," he said, shrugging. "After all, you're a celebrity, you seem to really support Kira..."

Misa sighs and goes to finish the brownie by adding the chocolate.
"Well then Misa sapposes that L wont want to eat one of these yummy brownies if there is a chance Misa is Kira. " She says with a laugh as she holds the hot brownies under his nose.

L's eyes grew wide. "Uh...," he started, then sighed. "Okay, okay, I'll lower my suspicions to 2% if you'll give me a brownie," he said, eyeing the the brownies hungrily.

Misa grins as she turns to cut the brownies. She puts one on a plate and hands it over before returning to her place perched on the edge of the counter.
"L? What makes you want to be who you are? Dont you ever just want to be normal?" Misa asks tilting her head slightly. She allways wondered about L. He wasent very old and he had allready been doing this so long.

L sat down, shrugging. "I guess I'm used to being different, so it doesn't matter to me," he said, scratching his head.

Misa nodds. She too was use to being abit far from normal. Being an actress and model she was allways in the public eye and wasent abel to be normal, but L was even farther from living an advrage life then she was.
"Dont you ever just want to fall in love? Have friends?" She askes.

L sighed. "Raito-kun is my only friend, and as for love...," he trailed off, looking down at his feet and smiled sadly.

Misa takes a handful of chocolate chips and throws them at him with a laugh.
"ONLY friend,!" Misa shouts with a laugh,"Misa is L's friend!"

L smiled. "All right, I only have two friends, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm an abnormal, lonely, sweet-toothed 26-year-old."

Misa hops off the counter and goes to give him a hug.
"It is ok L,"Misa says, "Misa is lonley and abnormal too."

L turned slightly red as Misa went to hug him and heard the elevator outside the apartment, as it was slowly ascending the building.

Misa lets go of L and smiles. She then turns back to working on sweets. She starts to dip the strawberrys in the chocolate.
"L?" Misa starts to question, "You and Light are friends.....Do you know is Light really loves Misa?"
Misa was feeling very alone and abandoned by Light who was allways off doing something involving the Kira case.

L thought for a moment. "Well, the way he talks about you, he probably does...But...There's something about the way he looks at you that says otherwise...," he said quietly.

Misa nodds sadly. She knew at first that Light dident love her but she allways hoped that someday he would. She continues to work with out glanceing up. Tears start to sweal in her eyes.
