The sun was almost beneath the water now. The moon had begun its never ending journey to catch the sun and the gulls were all sitting upon thier nests. The only sound that could be heard was the soft rolling of the ocean. The sand no longer played at her feet and the water had receded back into itself.

The green Bae slolwy turned her head skyward. She could see pinpricks of stars starting to shine and any whisps of clouds that may have been there were gone now. The sky was multicolored. Where the moon began to shine it was a brilliant dark blue and where the sun began its nighttime sleep it was tri colored in orange, red, and pink. where the two touched it was still a light blue. Oh how wonderful nature could be. Even just the sky at night.

"I will have to look for some of them sometime." She said to the Stallion who she had almost forgotten as she looked at the sky.

"Yes, do that." And speaking of looking for, he really couldn't delay any longer. Lydia would be wondering where he was if he didn't hurry and he didn't want the red-splashed mare to think even for a second that he had abandoned her.

Lucius glanced away from the green Bae, his eyes wandering away along the beach and his mind briefly to the grey Bae he would soon be seeking out. "I must be leaving now," the stallion said as he called his attention back to Clover. "I hope you have a pleasant night, and if you do happen to run into my son let him know I've not forgotten him if you would be so good." He really had been gone a very long time and, while he doubted the green Aeri would think he wasn't planning to return, Vox had always worried about him far more than Lucius felt necessary. More than not worrying at all that was.

"Farewell and good fortune," the black Aeri concluded with a bob of his head to the small mare before him. As he spoke, the stallion ran a mental inventory of all the muscles he would need soon. It informed him that all the muscles he would soon be using were still warm and ready, so he remained still as he awaited a return farewell.

The bea nodded as she watched the stallion leave. She had known that she was keeping him and she felt rather sorry in two ways. She was sorry to see him go and she was also sorry to have kept him. Oh well maybe their paths would meet again. Though now that he had told her of his son she would definately have to seek him out. Wich made her remember one more thing...

"Wait! Where can I find your son?" She really didn't want to bug him but if she was to find him it would definately be the easiest way. Besides, It would only take a few moments for him to tell her.

The black Aeri paused in the action of turning away and gave the small mare a shrug. "I don't know I'm afraid. His old haunts are a little way east of here but I couldn't find him. I might just have missed him though, or he might return while I'm away." Hopefully he would; then Clover could pass on the message that he'd be back, eventually. Still, Vox was a patient lad and forgiving. All would be well in the end.

"Sorry I can't be any more specific than that," Lucius said, swishing his tail at a fly. "Even if you don't find him I expect you'll find people to talk to. The ones that live here by the sea are likely to like is as much as you; that gives you some common ground at least I suppose. Goodbye Clover; I suspect I shall see you again at some point." With these words and a last dip of his head, the bone-covered stallion turned about and took off at a ground eating canter. Time marched on and he couldn't keep Lydia waiting on him; they had places to be.

The wind played through the Green Bea's mane as she watched the Aeri leave. She did not know where to find Vox but she would find him. The way Lucius had described him had somewhat interested her and she would be sure to look for him now.

With the wind viciously tying knots in her mane and the water receding in upon itself Clover kicked the sand away from her hooves and trotted away from the Aeri in search of Vox.
