Okay. I like everything. Literally. How is that possible? I listen to different types when im in different moods. xD;
Rap - Hyper/Happy/Normal. Country - Sad/Confused. Metal - Angry. Rock - Bored.
However, my favourite bands are SYSTEM OF A DOWN heart heart and Nickleback. heart
@imogen: I am the rap QUEEN. ;/ But I dont know what kind of rap you're interested in. Like, the hardcore rap, or like, decent rap? Cause I wouldnt be able to help you out there.
But I agree with Iia. Eminem is indeed a great rapper. As is Akon. But my favourite songs right now are Tispy, Show Me The Money, Gyrate, Zingy Final, What They Goin Do, Where The Hood At, Go Getta, & Make It Rain. : )

I'm fond of a lot of genres, actually. So I can't really specify what my favorite is. (That and I can't categorize genres. But shhh... You didn't hear that from me.) If it's catchy and has a good beat, then I'll usually listen to it. :]
Recently, I've been head over heels with "Monkey Majik." They're really catchy, and easy to sing along to.
Oh jeebus. I'm in LOVE with "Makes Me Wonder." I just finished putting my mp3 player in my profile and I just put it on repeat. ;D If you guys want to listen to music, you're free to visit my profile. xD Give me a new artist to listen to.

Weezer Dashboard Confessionals Blink 182 Sum 41 +44 Hello-Goodbye (Camp Holadios) Angels and Airwaves Pearl Jam HIM R.E.M. MCR The Ramones (my hair looks like Joey Ramone when I wake up in the morning) 3 doors down Silversun Pickups Beck Relient K The Cure Gorillaz Godsmack Rage against the machine Incubus
I think that's it...

Also, I like to listen to Showtunes. Like Les Miserables, Chicago!, and Okalahoma!. My friend Alex had been getting me to listen to classical music, too, so...
Anyways, the only things I probably won't listen to include any of the songs from High School Musical and HSM2, rap music, and country music.

This only kind of goes with this...
Maybe to people who don't listen to a particular typer of music, it all sounds the same. But that's only because they aren't used to it and it sort of takes a trained ear to hear differences.
