Yeah ive had my strap fall off a bunch of times. ive caught it 100% of the time too. except for one time my ibanez bass that i used to play all the time fell. i dont play it as much anymore since i got a better bass. but it was about 3 years ago. i painted the bass after and now you cant see the ding i put in it from the fall.

Yes i've caught it most time but once i didnt and it put a big a** dent in the back of my neck
