The young filly blinked her eyes a few times and let a large gapping yawn slip from her as she watched her sister, her mother, and her father await the coming of the last baby. The jet black filly gathered her legs underneath her as she steadied herself to try to stand up. First times never seemed to work, and of course the young one fell to the ground with a hard thud. Second times were always a little better, and she had finally got to her hooves, but soon fell again since her balance wasn't all that great yet. Third time was the charm right? As she looked up to her father, she allowed him to help her get to her hooves.

"How about I name this one, and we both decide on a name together for the last one?" The stallion offered, not wanting to name more then the mare, especially since she was the one that seemed to do all of the work out of the two of them.

"Yes, they are." He agreed with a soft nod of his head as he watched the jet black filly infront of him trying to stand. Moon lowered his head in assistance as he watched the little one fail the first two times.

"Night Rain." The big stallion said to the little filly. Her name seemed to stick into his mind as he nudged the last fruit that seemed to be having a little bit more difficult of a time.

His eyes danced over to Runt as his smile grew a little. "Runt is very original, and you are an original little one." Moon stood tall as he watched his family grow bigger by the minute. Would this last fruit be a son, or another filly? Either way, Moon would give it all of his heart as he would the other two. "Come on little one."

Why wouldn't this damn thing come off? It had seemed forever to shrink and shrink and shrink and finally there was no more room for her to move. Hooves scraped against the walls of her dark prison. She could hear noises around her. As time passed they had only seemed to get louder. The small space where she held her attack also seemed to be getting lighter. Then, as she struck again, her black little hoof pushed out of the fluid like surface and into air. Hope filled the filly now and she tore free of the fruit. Her pitch black coat was covered in the slightly sticky substance and as she pulled her head free she tumpled over and lay on the ground.

Bright sunlight blinded her for a few moments and the filly had to blink quite a few times before her eyes finally agreed with the lights. Unmoving the filly looked up and saw what she instinctively knew as her parents. Two dark Nequus towering over her. What most would find intimidating she found comforting. Quickly she tried to stand. She wanted to meet them. However her legs only gave out underneath of her and she fell to the ground once more. Again she tried to stand and again she fell to the earth. Was she moving too quickly? Once more the filly tried to stand but this time she went slowly. Carefully she collected herself and managed to stand. Not gracefully, nor very stable, but she was standing.

Keres inspected the new arrival with a thoughtful smile. “Well ain’ she just as pretty as her sisters?” the Reya murmured as her mind scrabbled for a name. Truly she would have been happy for the Ichsa stallion to decide but she understood his desire to have equality.

“Okay,” the pink-eyed mare said slowly, bending to nudge the little foal. “How about ah give y’ a start an’ you make somethin’ pretty of it? Ah’m no good at thinkin’ of pretty names like Night Rain or anythin’… So how about Adra? Can y’ make that up all pretty Moon?” the short-maned female asked, raising her head to meet the stallion’s dark eyes with a smile.

Three daughters; three beautiful daughters for her and the speckled Ichsa to raise and love. He could teach them to be clever like he was and she could teach them… well maybe to fight or something; she was good at that. To fly! That was what she’d do; they shared her wings not his so it would be hard for him to give them lessons. “Thanks Moon,” Keres added softly, “y’ took real good care of me.”

The black filly looked up at her mum. She noticed the dark coloring just like hers and the wings. "Adra" she mouthed. "Adra, Adra, Adra!" She jumped up and down once or twice as she repeated it and then fell to the ground with a thump as her wobbly legs could not support her anymore. Again she rose to her feet and took a few steps to stand beside her mum.

"Mommy?" The filly asked and yet stated to imprint it upon her memory. She then turned to the other dark figure standing near. "Daddy?" Adra had a rough idea of who these two were but she wanted to be sure.

Night blinked his eyes at the mare that he had been keeping a close eye on for a while now. "Yes, she is just as gorgeous as all of her sisters and her mother." A tiny smile was shown on his face as he spoke about the mare's beauty.

Three children? No... Three daughters. When the mare said the name, he squinted his eyes as if to look for something. The name didn't come right away, but it hit him hard once he thought of it. "Adrasteia." Moon answered Keres with a thoughtful nod of his head. Keres' smile made the speckled stallion's heart skip a beat for some reason.

"It was my duty, and pleasure." He said letting his smile grow a little at the black and light purple mare. When the little filly called him father, he looked down at her and nodded his head softly.

Night blinked at all of her family. They were a lot better then the other ones around. The most quiet of the sisters stood there watching the family that she knew she belonged to somehow. Night Rain looked up to her mother and father, both had smiles on their face as they looked at their children that they had worked hard for.

Keres blinked somewhat dazedly and gave Dark Moon a lopsided grin. "Wow, that's a beautiful name, ah just duunno if ah'll be able t' say it that well." Hopefully she'd get the hang of it; it truly was lovely, the sort of name a princess ought to have. "Adarseteria," keres tried, frowning at the sound she made. "That's not it," she muttered, grinning ruefully down at the filly whose name she was unintentionally botching the pronunciation of. "Adararastayer... Err... How about ah call y' Adra until ah get the hang of it honey?" she suggested, giving the filly a nudge.

"So," she went on, raising her eyes to look at the stallion before her. "Runt, Rain and Adra." The Reya mare let her gaze trail over the trio of girls once more. "Wow," she murmured, "ah'm a mamma." A stupid grin spread across her face and she turned back to the tall stallion once more. "Cool hu?" she commented, grin still firmly in place.
