Kei looks at Lusir. 'He's making up a plan...' He knew it from Lusir's expression.
The deer moved with the wind. They wiggled about in their small area as they contiuned to eat the grass. Kei looks at Lusir and needed to know his plan. " What have you came up with Lusir?" He whispered to him, trying not to scare the deer away. He peeks over a bush to see what they was doing. It looked like they was about to move. The larger one walking behind the small one. "Hurry Lusir.." Kei whispered, about to run up on the larger deer.

"Hold it." Lusir hissed under his breath. 'The buck will want to protect the doe who will probably run. If Kei can take down the doe quickly and quietly then back me up for the buck, both will be ours'. Lusir ran over his reformed plan in a split second. "I'll go upwind and use my scent to scare the doe to you." He explained. "Catch it by suprise in these bushes and kill it as quickly and silently as you can." He drew a quick breath, he knew the dangers of facing a full grown buck alone. "I'll hold off the buck till you can back me up." He finished quickly, already stalking off to the side to round upwind of the prey. 'Kei can kill the doe alone if he catches it unaware'.

Slinking quietly around the perimeter of the activity, Skule sniffed the ground, just having been recently exploring (and escorting Szálka) in the woods just on the borders of the boneyard. Gray tail dipped and swayed with the wind and his movements, ears straining forward as he kept the going conversations in check - those of his Alpha and new Shaman, and the hunters as they left to do their job. They weren't far, but Skule disliked being in the throng (despite being in a pack), and preferred to paw the packlines, keeping a steady eye on the horizon as the fresh pack settled under new rule.

Slowly stop wagging his tail and laying it on the ground, Kei nods and blinds in the bushes. He tried to act like a a tree trunk. Quiet and still. Waiting for Lusir to scare the doe this way. Kei quickly looks at Lusir. " Becarful..." He mumbled. Trying not to sound to sensitive.
The wind blew softly but showing the top of Kei's back. He got down lower but could still see the doe and buck. But they was quickly walking away. If they didn't do anything now, they are going to stave the next few days away. And Kei did not want that to happen. Not now anyway.

Lusir nodded acknowledgement at the warning, and silently stalked off through the bushes, fleetfootedly traversing to position.
Winds, gentle as they were, blew his scent quickly to the deer. Lifting their heads in alarm Lusir poised and waited. Ears up and alert they easily heard Lusir's intentional rustle. Just as he had predicted, the doe sprang for cover and the buck turned defiantly to face off Lusir.

"Skule..." Came the Alpha's voice as Irons came closer to him, looking as though he were in deep thought as he approached one of his more trusted wolves, "...our new Shaman, I want you to watch her. Even though she is without a doubt loyal to the Bones pack, she is direspectful. Until she proves herself to be as good a Shaman as she claims, I don't want her out of our sight."

Skule picked himself up rather quickly as the Alpha came towards him, called his name, made himself announced in all his regal appearance. Bowing his head low, ears laying flat against his skull and tail lowering, Skule nodded, green eyes looking up at Irons. "Shaman Szalka? Indeed, sir. She's quite mysterious, I think... though I'm sure we shall see her exert her power soon enough."
The gray male tilted his head, looking out over the expanse of land and the boneyard in the distance, ears perking at the sounds of wildlife. "But no matter, sir," the skull-marked one continued, "she shall be watched."

"Good, I want nothing to go wrong. If that Shaman calls down evil spirits on us, I want to know about it so we can be rid of her before she does serious damage... however, if she is as good as she claims to be, then we will also know about that." Irons nodded, seeming pleased with the idea, "I'm counting on you Skule... you are one of my most trusted. We need to be sure that nothing more happens to the Bones Pack before we have time for a full recovery."
Irons chuckled a little, "And we will recover, Skule... we'll be even stronger than we were before. It's going to be beautiful."

Skule nodded as his Alpha spoke, eyes closing as he did so, tail wagging a touch. "Yes, you'll be the first to know if I spot anything amiss with our Shaman. I'll try to be extra observant on the eve of the ceremony, also." He added, gray coat shifting as he took a few steps back at the chuckle.
"And I put my trust in you, Irons. I hope you will lead us well." Skule bowed his head, green eyes flashing as the waning light hit them, and he turned, padding quietly down towards the forest's edge to patrol the lands.

Irons chuckled, his fangs glittering in the sun, "Oh believe me, I will defend this pack. Even against spirits I can't see or touch, I won't let us grow weak. I won't let us suffer under a weak leader. I would rather die than bring us down."
And it was true. Irons knew who he had to protect. Those loyal to him, and his pack, even above himself, had to be protected. Any weaklings who tried to destroy that would suffer, including the Shaman.
