"Konban ha Hasamoto san. Genki desu ka?" She appeared some distance away from him, but her figure appeared about 10 seconds after her voice. Turning her left, she caught sight of him still by the stairs, but she was too lost to tell if they were the stairs she had come down or another set placed elsewhere in the facility.
"I hope you didn't have that much trouble finding the place. I followed senpai's mana trail here, but I guess you don't have that ability do you?" Dry as her voice and nature was, one could guess that she wouldn't waste words on something she didn't give a damn about. Although at the same time, as was the usual human norm, she could have just been making conversation.
"The library is much larger than I thought it would be, but as I hoped, it's very quiet. It will be a nice place to concentrate when it's needed." Coming within about ten feet of him, she placed her hands together over her lap and bowed to him, her shirt falling a bit in the process to offer him a more than generous view of her bust.

"I've been well, thank you."
He smiled as she came over, a piece of known in all the new unknowness that was this place. As he went to return a bow to the young woman, he couldn't help but notice that her shirt wasn't buttoned completely. He gulped at little, and it was obvious when his face turned bright red. He coughed a little to clear his throat, and glanced around a bit to try and keep his gaze away from her.
"I-it is.....rather quiet. Unfortunately, I was a bit lost before I found my way here...."
He coughed again, and scratched a bit at the end of his nose with his right arm.
"E-ended up in a rather.....interesting p-place...."

Lifting back up, she noticed that he had a noticeably redder face than before she bowed. He was also avoiding looking at her, so she took a moment to re-examine herself, but was unable to find anything wrong. Shrugging it off she listened to the rest of his speech about getting lost and what not. What place had he ended up, she wondered, to make him so nervous?
"No matter. You know your way now and so long as you don't forget it, all will be well." Very frank with her opinion and concern on the matter, she turned about, scanning the library once more before watching him again. "I'm not one for incessant babble all the time and can make decent company when reading a good book. At the same time, this place allows for better conversation as the atmosphere is less...barbaric. Therefore you may expect me to spend more time here for a while until I design a place of my own."
Walking around him, she inched her way slowly up the stairs, keeping enough distance between their bodies as to prevent any touching, which really wasn't her thing these days.
"Unfortunately it is rather late and I should be going home. I'm told there are rooms here so if you're tired, perhaps you should consider staying. Otherwise, wherever you end up, oyasuminasai." Another light bow and she ascended into a room she didn't recognize. As she had yet to learn the layout of the place, this was not a good thing, so she marched all the way back down, inching around the samurai once more, and began walking in the opposite direction, trying her best not to look too misplaced.
<~>And with that, a good night.<~>

Nearby the conversing couple a hover platform returned to its resting position at the base of the shelf where they stood. As the platform came to a stop a tall women clad in a strange snow white cloak stepped off.
Moving with an unearthly grace, her footfalls proceeded to leave practically no sound. Tucked under her arm she carried with her a large atlas depicting North America on its cover. Paying little heed to those present she wandered down the corridor making her way to one of the many desks.
Spreading the large book before she proceeded to scan its content earnestly as if there was no one else present in the room. Peeking out from the base of her cloak grazing the floor a feline like tail could be seen. It was clear that this strange woman was not human. What exactly one could not readily tell without further observation.
Raising her hand to her face she proceeded to yawn turning the page on the atlas. Without much thought, it was clear she knew her way around.

Konosuke gave the redhead plenty of room to walk by, as much as he could give. After seeing some of the women around these parts, Red looked over dressed, but still, he felt a need to try and give her some space.
Finding it ironic that she said she wasn't one for babbling, and yet here she was hardly allowing a word in edgewise, Kono decided not to speak what he was thinking.
"Ja mate, Red-san."
He bowed lightly to her as she came back down the stairs and tried to find the other way out, apparently. He glanced about, trying to figure out where to head next. Having a room to stay in, instead of a camp outside, would probably be better, especially during rainy nights.
His lone eye spotted a tall young woman walking around, pure white like a ghost, seeming to know where she was going. He blinked, and quickly moved after her, his wooden sandles clicking on the floor, his empty left sleeve of his yukata flapping a little.
"Ano, sumimasen....." Clearing his throat, he switched back to english. "Excuse me Miss.....perhaps you could help me? I was told that there were rooms one could stay in, if they wished?"

Raising her attention from the tome in front of her, the strange woman turned to Samurai. Her appearance would be considerably jarring to most individuals as her features were very angled and almost feline in appearance giving her an exotic and beautiful look. Blinking slowly as if taking a snap shot of the figure before her, she spoke slowly and deliberately in a calm tone.
"Yes. Return to the corridor from where you entered. The Mistress has many rooms present."
This said she returned her attention back to the tome before her, once more resuming her studying of the atlas before her. With the question answered she seemed to have almost forgotten the man's presence, despite his close proximity.

::Unks was sitting at the bar in the orion but then used the instantanious movement to come to the soul fountain to see if Iccolo was here. He cocentraited on one of the energy levels in the building and found himself in the libray standing next to the one armed samurai. Unks smiled at him and bowed to him in greeting.
"Konichiwa Konosuke, how are you this evening?"
::Unks looked up and saw the other person in the white cloak and blinked his ice blue eyes a few times before he looked back to the samurai. He heard him about a room and smiled to him.
"Not to intrude, but I can show you where the rooms are. We've. . . ."
The saiya-jin stopped speaking as the woman told him where the rooms were. Unks nodded his head in agreement and watched as he left to go to his room. Unks then turned his attention back to the woman::
"You seem to know your way around here."

Undaunted by the almost random appearance of the new man the woman in white continued flipping through the book. As she was addressed she made no attempt to look up from the book. Speaking in the same slow, deliberate tone she answered. "Yes..."
It was clear she was one who deemed it unnecessary to speak more than she had to.

::The saiya-jin had an odd look on his face. This woman was a lot like Red, she kept to herself, and seemed to cop and attitude. Unks shrugged and moved closer to her and looked at what she was looking at. He smiled slightly::
"Well when you say mistress, and you know your way around here it is safe to say your a friend of my wife Epithany."

With little notice she grasped the book tucking it other her arm.
"Guild members supply lodging."
Not even awaiting answer she had already headed toward the residential corridor. Whether anything he had said had angered her or not, she had already disappeared from sight.
((Sorry, I got distracted by a phone call.))

She turned the page and was that much closer to finishing the book. It didn't take much time for her to read through it all, but she had been idle long enough to stiffen considerably. Her tail swayed to and fro slowly through the chair's opening between the seat and the shoulders as her eyes raced through each sentence with a disinterested demeanor. Sitting completely erect, she was the poster child of good posture and her glasses provided the image of a very attractive librarian trapped within her own literary world. This wasn't her library though and she was certainly no librarian.
The hardback book supported in her right palm had an illustrated cover of green meadows, blue skies, and white clouds. On the front was a solitary fox, staring at the reader with a look of mischievous curiosity about it; its white underbelly gleaming in the unseen sun while its feet lay hidden in the soft cool grasses of the plain. Aptly titled "Mysteries of the Fox," it contained a plethora of base knowledge about the canid gathered from various countries the world over. Most of what she read appeared to be none other than simple folklore generated by the incompetent minds of humans who perceived the kitsune race as mystical figment of their imagination in the early ages.
The properties of vulpines were discussed either as scholarly analysis, childhood fairy tales, or urban myths. Despite all of this however, the information provided was enough that one might be able to actually classify breeds of kitsune if they sat down and evaluated certain traits and abilities. She found her findings intriguing in that manner as she believed kitsune to just be a breed of humanoid. Of course if one wished to be stubborn, or specific, even humans could be split into subcategories based of physical structure.
Which was she though? Chinese. Japanese. Irish. African. Indian. Should she care to find out, there were definitely a few tests that would prove instantly where she lie among the classes of foxes. At the same time though, nothing she read really would be sufficiently more important than anything she already possessed. Further, there were certain abilities she may be better off knowing for her own sake.

Surrounded by stack upon stack of books she had long forgone the need for tables. Its structure could no longer sustain the weight of the tomes that held her attention. Pushing aside a thickly bound book depicting the image of a moose, the strange woman rose from her perch. Her knowledge of the region would suffice. Picking apart information detailing the population as well as weather conditions and any other extraneous tidbits would suffice for her mission.
It seemed that further north their existed an enclave of higher level beings. The description of their existence had not appeared in any of the books she had studied, but her knowledge on the surrounding areas would likely still prove useful. At last she would find proper sustenance as she had grown displeased with the trappings such as food and drink. The chemical energy they produced was satisfactory, but never provided the strength she yearned for.
Dismissing the books with a wave of her hand, each returned to its place of origin. Yawning widely revealing fanged teeth, the tall woman left behind her seat, her moves quick but deliberate. Perhaps visiting the scaled one would prove more useful than previously thought.
Heading towards the residential hall she disappeared into her room. Plans would have to be made. Rushing blindly into unknown circumstances would prove foolish.
