Karma thought for a moment and then turned to him. "What do you want to teach? I don't really have a particular thing I want to learn." She really didn't. She was just happy to have someone to talk to. But, this was how everyhting always started...then she never usually saw the pae again.

"Well, I can teach uhmm... stuff..." Scratching the back of his head Sol suddenly realized he wasn't sure what he COULD teach. "I mean, I know some fighting stuff... Tactics, etc. I know some basic science and math... Reading, writing, history... That sort of thing... I know erm... romance..." The last one he whispered and turned red at, because he was ebarassed, and it technically was flirting.

Karma smiled, "Romance! I don't know anything about that subject." She giggled and wasn't sure if that was what he wanted to teach or even how you taught that, but hey it sounded fun! She turned to look in his eyes as she noticed the red blush. Hm...why was he blushing?

Sol blinked, and stared. "You're serious?!" He coughed a little and ran a hand through his hair, still blushing slightly. "I mean, yes of course you are... Romance is important..." He tried to keep a serious face but it was all but impossible.
Oh dear lord what have I gotten myself into!
"Well... Uhm... Would you like your first lession now... or?"

((When you said Sol the other day it dawned on me that they might make a funny pair. xp ))
Karma nodded, "Yes, I'm serious. Fate doesn't show me anything to do with love." She wasn't even sure she knew what love was.
"Now!" She said a bit too loudly, but she didn't care. She was really excited. Maybe he could tell her what love was.

Sol chuckled weakly. Where to start! "Well uhm... To start, a man will show that he's interested in a girl by complimenting her and flirting with her. Mind, not all men are as good at the second as others, and there are some very... bad pick up lines out there..." Shaking his head, he could list a few of them off the top of his head. "Usually, Men will chose a signle part of the woman to compliment and work from there... Like..."
Giving her a quick look over... probably the fifth or sixth, he smiled and said. "You have very beautiful eyes, they're even more pretty than the stars at night..." He internally winced... He could have done better!

Karma nodded as she listened, "Ok, makes since." She wasn't sure if she had ever encountered this before or not.
This time it was Karma's turn to blush. "That's nice. I like that. Now, I complement you?" She wasn't sure, but thought why not? "You have a really nice smile." Not as good as his, but she had nver done it before.

Sol smiled. "Thanks, you'res is really nice too..." He chuckled and reached out taking her hand. "You've got really nice hair too.." He really didn't realize he was already starting to caress her hand, falling into old habits that he'd thought were long dead.

Karma blushed again, "Thanks." She felt him tak her hand and start to caress it. She wasn't sure, but it sent a shiver up her back. "That feels nice." She wondered if this was really still a lesson.

"Huh?" Looking down Sol realized what he was doing. "Oh!" Slowly he removed his hand from hers, a bit more reluctant that he probably should have been. "That's uhm... The next step of romance..." He coughed a little. "When the guy likes a girl, he might seek physical interaction."
Already his hand was reaching for hers. Got to love limbs with their own minds!

"Oh, yeah?" She smiled, "I like the part." She was sad when he took his hand away, but then he was only teaching. No meaning in it.
"Now what? How do you know when it's love?" That was a question that had been burning her skull during this whole lesson.

"Uhm..." Sol thought, the hardest part of that question was that he wasn't sure how to answer that question. "Well... That one is hard to define... Love can manifest itself as anything really... Like, the guy could really like the girl but not be able to admit it because he's embarassed. Same way with the girl," He shook his head slowly. "There's also love at first sight, but that's rare... There are a lot of times where love tends to just creep up on you... You don't know you're in love until you're alone with the person doing something together and it hits you like a bolt out of the blue."
His hand had again taken a hold of hers and his thumb was working the back of her hand gently. He didn't even know he was doing it, which was half his problem.
He was in his own denial.

Karma nodded, "So do you feel different when you're in love?" This was all facinating to her. She turned and looked in his eyes as he talked.
She felt him take her hand again, this time she put hers on top. She liked hold it. It was bigger than hers, but warm and felt nice. As if it belong there. Was this Fate's way?

"Yes... Some people feel safe or portected, others warm and fuzzy..." Sol chuckled. "Some feel inspired... It really does run the gamut..." He shook his head slowly. "I really don't remember what being in love feels like... but I know falling out of love isn't pleasent... lots of ugly emotions and things ocme forwards..."
He scooted closer to Karma, keeping her hand in his, this kind of talk always made him feel... nostalgic almost... but that wasn't quite it... He missed being in love... yeah that was it.

Karma nodded, "Is it worth it?" She wasn't sure if falling out was so bad, then why fall into love? She flet him inch closer and liked the closeness. It was nice to have someone take interest in her, if only for teaching.
