Shifting his weight lazily from one side of his body to the other Caelen eyed the little mare before beginning to walk after her, "Oi, when ye get as old as I am.. ye'll not take ter long walks."
... He was only 8...
Drama.King.
"Nae, As much as I wanted ter find the parents an' see if they awful or jest injured.. I canna say I overly wanted ter find out the opposite." A quick increas in pace brought him hoof-to-hoof with the mare. The wind picked up his mane lightly and cooled the deep green beneath it, "Ahh, so where're ye from miss Auriga?"

Auriga looked at Caelan with a mocking roll of her eyes. "As old as you.. pfft! You do realise now that gives me the permission to call you 'old one'!" She laughed and broke into a little trot.
"Where I am I from...? All over really... no set 'home' as such... what of yourself?"

Looking down at the hoof in question he nodded carefully before looking back up to speak again, "Alright lass, I used ter have a home an' it'll be a home fer a long long time.. but now I'm jest settling inter Soquili lands.

Auriga looked at him.
"Used to...?" Her ears perked forward curiously. "But you have one.... that's a good thing..." She smiled widely and nudged him playfully. "Good that there's somewhere for an old 'un like you to rest yourself...." She stuck her tongue out at him.

Caelen winked back at the little mare.
"Oi, yer a cheeky bit of goods are ye no?" Shaking his mane once again, a bad habit when the heat underneath built up enough to annoy him every few minutes or so. "Ye'll have ter pay fer that comment lass." Looking around carefully he tried to decide just what precisely would be a fitting enough punishment for a smart-mouthed mare, "unfortunately there's nae much ter improve with in a meadow. Jest be ready, eh?"

Auriga laughed at Caelen's comment. She enjoyed conversation with someone who didn't mind her teasing him. But getting her back... eek!
"I am, and proud of it!" She stated, lifting her head in mock importance. "Oh, and payback? You'll hafta catch me off guard, Caelen!" She grinned slightly and trotted off in front, her head still held high.

"Ye'll find I can be verrrry vigilant lass when the time calls fer it." Actually, that wasn't overly true. Most of the time he lost track of people, places, date, and times because the fun that was called life kept him moving on.
Picking up his pace to match the mare he let himself move shoulder-to-shoulder with Auriga. "Now then, where precisely are we headed or great wise one?"

Auriga gave Caelen a sideways look and grinned. "Vigilant, eh? Oh we shall see about that...."
She shrugged slightly. "No idea.... just running!" She laughed, breaking into a canter.

Following along with the mare as she took off in a run, Caelen began to consider just how preciesly he watned to get back at her without of course causing any problems.
"Aye lass, we shall indeed have ter see what precisely happens." His own mane was managing to get into his face all over... Shaking out his mane again his mind was light enough to be in a good mood.

Auriga tossed her head in the air, smiling widely. She took a look at him and laughed as they ran side by side. "Caelen, I'd love for you to try and truly surprise me! It would be entertaining if anything!"
