It was nighttime, there was a thick canopy that blocked out most of the sunlight, and to compound matters, there was a dense undergrowth that Henna constantly tripped over and banged and scrapped every possible body part on him. He really wasn't ever gonna come back here.

Alkaid flopped on the ground, releasing Chloe, who landed in the midst of the woods with a plop. The Swablu chirruped happily, glad to have made it from Dewford, but needed to rest a bit.
There was no way the Swablu could carry her all the way to Lilycove in one go, Chloe surmised, letting Alkaid rest for the time being. Hopefully she could find something to keep her busy in the meantime, before Alkaid was ready to go again.
"That shouldn't be so hard," Chloe grinned, "I'll find some flowers for Sasha while we're waiting, want to help?" she asked Alkaid, who burbled eagerly.

The two set out, as Chloe released the rest of her party into the woods to help out a bit in their excursion. Chloe had folded her coat into her bag, as it was much too hot in the summer months to be wearing the thing. Much more comfortable in her teal t-shirt and jeans, she set out with gusto.
Cael took to the ground, deciding not to dare fly above the thick treetops. He wanted to keep an eye on Chloe, knowing her tendency to get in trouble.
