The time had come, he watched as the fawn finally stopped eating. His ears went back even more. his back leggs did a sort of dance making his butt wiggle just a bit. His tail just perfectly straight. In a blink of an eye he had jumped out from his hiding place, not making any noise except the quick brush of sound from the bush he had been hiding from.
The Doe saw him as quickly as he came out, but was startled that she jumped and didn't know what happened. The fawn was helpless. With no one to protect it. Thona's claws were fully extended. He landed softly on the ground next to the fawn. His right claw going into the side of it making him swing around a bit.
The Doe saw it was too late to help the fawn and had already rushed off for it's life. It was too perfect. The fawn made squealing noises for it's mother as Thona's Claws dug in deeper and pushed the young deer down to the ground. You could see no blood, unless he were to move his paw, but he didn't want to just yet. It struggled for a moment, trying to get up.
He grined and bit into the young one's neck. He didn't put enough preasure to kill it, and started moving his claws up the fawns side. It couldn't make any noise from where Thona had bit it, which made it no fun. He spit out the fawn from his mouth and looked rather irritated with himself for doing that. With no paws he placed his paw on it's head and pushed down as hard as he could. One thing that was good about them was they were easy to break. Expecially small ones like this.
The fawn stopped moving almost instantly. Thona sat down next to it and licked his paw that he used to squish the head of the fawn. Then looked up to where the female was. "Well, it didn't go perfect like I hoped, but at least you have food now." He said with his ears slightly back.

Pepper knows it was 'action' time the second the foal took its lips off mother's teat and Thona exploded in action. Her eyes dilates with excitement as she makes similar butt wiggle with her hind legs dancing just slightly behind her. She was prepared to jump down and help Thona if he did show some trouble keeping the foal down.
To her disappointment, Thona handled everything like a pro and the foal died almost right away. Pepper sniffs slightly at the air disdainfully before she took her time climbing back down. She didn't make any comments toward Thona but she was very grateful that he did all of the work, now all she have to do is sink her fangs in and feast. "You did wonderfully, puppet" She says in teasing voice as she shot a male genuine grateful smile. "But seriously, you need to teach me how to do that. I am Pepper by the way." She peers at Thona, half hoping that he will being civil toward her like she is with him at the moment.

He, being a very pourd Ulaya of his work, was rather disappointed in himself. He had not did what he wanted. It was not perfect at all. He just shruged at the female as he thought of what he did wrong. Then it hit him. He shouldn't have bit down on the neck like that. He realized his mistake and now it was time to move on.
He looked at her for a moment. "It wasn't wonderful, it was sloppy." he said irritated. Didn't she see it? Hadn't she been watching? He didn't expect her to see that he didn't do anything right at all. Except for actually kill it for her. It was a pitty really.
He raised an eye brow, and a grin came to his face. "So, just because of a small kill, you invite me your name?" He said smirking. He had no reason to share his, yet. She hadn't deserved it. He stood up and looked at the bits of the fawn that were left. The blood from his paw tasted rather good, but he wasn't hungery. He had a bit to eat before he had taken a nap.
"If you think I'm going to give you my name, think again. You've yet to proven yourself to my standers of getting it." He continued to study the dead flesh of the fawn. "And if you want to learn how to do this, it's not hard, it just takes years and years of practice." He closed his eyes. He could still hear the slight whine the fawn made before he bit it's neck. He guessed that was enough of a torture.

Pepper could indeed see what went wrong but she rather not to go into the details as she moves toward the belly of the fawn. "You know.. you should have went for the fawn when it was still attached to the mother." She idly says as she laid down on her stomach and began to lick the fur off the fawn's stomach. "And you shouldn't have went for the throat until you had your fill of the fawn's screaming and cries for its mother." She comments nonchalantly.
"What if its not my real name?" Pepper counters to his question with her own and she raises her eyebrow when she looks at Thona over her shoulder. She turns her head toward the now bald spot in front of her and she began to sink her fangs in, shearing the flesh away from the bone. The flavor-filled blood exploded in her mouth and she rolls her eyes back in sheer pleasure. "Or just few weeks of practice." She wryly replies after few minutes of chewing and lapping up at the fawn's body. "I already know how to hunt.." She says before she rips a bite-sized flesh and chews on it. "Just need to perfect my hunting techniques for creatures like this one." She finishes after she swallowed the bite-sized morsel.

He grinned. " The mother would have gotten in the way, and would have easily kicked me. It's a risk that I would only make if I was really hungry." He paused and raised an brow. "Because you were quick to get it. I'm pretty sure you didn't spend all the time up in the tree thinking of a false name to give me." He said simply.
"It'd take a lot more the a few weeks. You've got train your muscles, along with your thought of mind." He opened his eyes finally. "I've worked at hunting since I was a kit, it's an art to me rather anything else." He didn't know why he was actually saying this to her, but once again the pride thing came into factor.

"Not really. If you immediately snatched the fawn and dragged it up the tree, the mother can't do anything. You could torture and make it scream for all it is worth." Pepper states as she chews on a tender meat, staying quiet to ponder a retort to his comment about fake name. "What if I don't have to think up the fake name?" Pepper says dryly as she turns her head over her shoulder, looking at Thona with her muzzle smeared with blood. "What if I use that name naturally and it is not even my name." She simply says with a chesire grin on her face.
Deciding that she have eaten her fill, Pepper stood up and pads over to Thona then she plunks down on her hunches in front of him. She began to lick her paw and rubs it across her face to get the blood off her face and muzzle. "Not if you are already an hunter or an hunter at the heart.. it will take just few weeks for me." She says in bored tone as she looks at the leopard.

He watched her eat. If it was any other normal Ulaya they would probably be disgusted with the look of this. To him, it was nothing. "She would still have a shot at hitting me while she was trying to get away. It'd be an accident type thing." He said camly.
"Because if it was then you would have gave it to me earlier when you first met me. Though, I don't think your are the type that thinks of fake names, which I really don't care. Like you said earlier, we most likely won't see each other again." He looked down to his paws. One still had blood stained in it. He quickly went to try to lick it off.
Though, it wasn't a big deal, he still didn't like having blood on his fur unless it was him eating. He looked back at the other. "Just to let you know, that was a free be. " His mood for torture was slightly unsatisfying, but what could he do? He could go about making the female angry again. Yes that seemed like a good idea. "Now, since I did this, you have to do something for me." He smirked.
Not really sure of what he was going to make her do yet, but it was just the fact to see if she would do something. Of course, if she did he would give her the pleasure of knowing his name. "It won't be anything bad.... To me anyways." He smirked even more. What would he have her do. Well, he could make her hunt, but that's what he did.
He could torture her a bit. Cut her up some, but she didn't look like the type that would want to hurt her pretty face. He sat there in silence to see what her reaction would be. He still had to think. Something she wouldn't enjoy at all. Something that would make her angry. He could toy with her a bit more. Females were always an easy target.
"That is, of course, if our not up to it." He said boredly. "I wouldn't want you to do something you wouldn't want to do." He lied, but did it every well. "If you do, this small task, I shall give you my name. It won't be a false name, like you claime to have given me." He closed his eyes. He had the prefect thing to make her do, he wanted to see how well of a hunter she was. Of course, the mean would go bad from him not being hungry, but he just wanted to see. "I won't tell you want I want you to do, yet. I want to see your answer first."
Normally he would have picked something else, but he wanted to see what his competition was like. His only goal was to become the best hunter out there. So it was only natrual for him to be curious.

"Perhaps." Pepper says as she licks her paw while keeping her claws extended out but curled inwards. Her ear twitches slightly as she finally looks up at Thona right in the eyes. "You need to be very quick to make sure the mother can't get to you before she could flee for her life, leaving a .." She sighs with a smirk on her face. "delicious fawn like that one behind for us to eat." Pepper murmurs lazily as she looks at him with a shuttered gaze.
Pepper looks down at her paw and she lifts it to examine it to make sure there is no blood there. She extends her paw out and proceeds in licking between the digits and she froze when Thona states that she have to do something for him. I knew it... Pepper grimly thinks to herself as she raises her eyebrow at Thona warily. "Mm....." She fixes Thona with one of her most intent and piercing gaze before she finally nods slightly. "Ok.. what do you want me to do?" She says cautiously.

He was bored with the talk of her trying to give him advice, he had no interest in the mother since she only wanted him to kill the fawn. He let it drop and the grinned as she looked at him funny.
He grinned more demonicly as she accepted his request. "Good" he said in a convident voice. "Well, you know know for sure I'm a hunter, and since I'm also competitive, I like to see my competition. You, being as you say, a hunter making you one of my rivuals. Since I showed you a small bit of my hunting skills, you must do the same." He said simply, looking at her with a more so serious face.
Thona was dead serious about his work, he never joked around with it unless he was just trying to have a bit of fun. But when it came with competition, he was more then serious. This was a very rare side of him. "I know you can't get bigger then a fawn, since you said so yourself after killing, I just want to know where exactly you are as a hunter." He said truthfully.
"I normally wouldn't have shown what I had today, but the passing of torturing is sometime not worth passing up. Especially when it's a baby." He said with a smirk.

Pepper holds up her extended claws as a silent warning to Thona, she is not in mood for any of his bullshit at the moment. Her tummy is full and she is feeling drowsy but she knows that Thona would want her to do something that will make her use up the energy.
She lays on her stomach and yawns widely with her ears pinning back just slightly. "Mmmm... since you are not hungry and I just ate my fill. My little show will have to wait." She narrows her eyes at Thona. "I do not believe in killing animals senselessly and leaving them to waste." The femme mutters as she stretches her body out to its fullest then she rests her head on her outstretched legs. "But I can hunt anything that is small... and I can fish. I am in process of learning how to hunt foals and something similiar to its size."
Her greenish golden eyes looks up at Thona with a blank look in them and Pepper just merely rolls her eyes. "Well at least your kill is useful to one of us. It filled my stomach." She dryly comments.

"It wouldn't go to waste. There are plently of creatures around here that would be more then happy to scavenger off a kill." He said truthfully. Though, it wasn't like he actually cared if it would get eatten or not. "But if you must wait, then we'll just have to stay here until your ready." He said
"I'm not about to follow you around anywhere, and I don't think if I were to, you would like it too much." He wasn't playing any games. His voice was very serious and his eyes were looking straight at the other. Of course, he had no objection to going back up into the tree he had been so quietly sleeping in before she came around.

Pepper sniffs slightly as Thona got her right there but she wasn't about to let him know that he was right about some of things he said. She rolls her eyes as she stretches her body out after she stood up. She flicks her bob tail at Pepper. "What kind of game do you want me to hunt?"
Pepper pads toward the carcass that is laying there for grabs but she already ate her fill so she did something she thought she wouldn't do. She kicked the dirt on the carcass then she walks toward the tree and extends her claws out. She stretches her body out upward against the tree while the claws scrapes against the bark.

Thona thought for a moment while he watched her. She was rather odd for a female, though he hadn't exactly talked to any other then making them angry or uncomfortable. He looked to his paws again and stood up. "Well, what have you caught before. I don't want to pick something that's out of your reach, so to say." He said with a smirk.
His tail hung low and flicked back and forth slowly. He had a funny grin on his face that he rarely had. "That's of course, if you've caught something." He added just to see if she'd get angry again.

Pepper fixes Thona with one of her scrutinizing gaze and she sniffs slightly. "Well you will have to settle with me fishing..because thats where I am very good at but I am good with catching small animals.." She says haughtily as she stretches her body out against the tree once again. She arches her back upward then she proceeds in walking toward the small river.
Pepper's bob tail twitches as she watches the fish swims around near the shore lazily, its almost like the fish is mocking the hunters like her by swimming close to the shore. She kneads against the ground slightly with her claws extended and her ears moves forward while her eyes went wide (pupil-wise). Her body was very still as she looks like she is a statue.
There were no movement coming from her for a minute or so then she suddenly pounced in the water, catching a large trout with her claws and she skillfully swiped the trout out of the water. Pepper sighs as she crinkles her nose when she moves out of the water and her eyes watches the trout flop around on the ground gasping for air with emotionless eyes. "Shame...." Pepper murmurs gently as she moves to deliver a fatal swipe to the trout's head, separating its head from the body. "Take one bite." Pepper looks directly at Thona. "Unless you want to offend me." She raises her eyebrow slightly as she tries not to look like she is about to freak out because she have wet fur sticking to her body.

Highly interested in what type of "fishing" skills she would have, he followed closely to watch carefully. His face had a grin on it. Oh, how this was going to be entertaining. He could tell she hated the water, and was only doing this because he kind of made her. Or at least, he asked her to. It seemed she had a lot of pride behind her, more then she wanted to let anyone see.
As she flung the fish up on shore, he was slightly impressed. But it wasn't something to totally give his name up. Maybe he could hold it have see if she would come looking for him to find out his name? It made him grin even more. His respect was slightly growing for her. "Oh? And what makes you think I don't want to offend you?" He said simply as she demanded him to eat.
"No one tells me what to do, so if you want me to actually take a bite of that slimy thing, you've got to ask a little nicer then that." He said again. "And, if I actually take a bite, you better be happy since I'm not really a fish guy." He said again. They weren't his favorite, but he didn't totally hate it. "Though, you have a lot of guts for going into the water when you don't like it at all." He said grinning. It was almost good enough to take a bite, but she still had to ask nicely.
