"Then what would you call me then?" No one had ever bothered calling him anything other than Mad. Some had used words that meant the same thing but it always boiled down to him seeing the world a way they didn't. Life was far more interesting because of it.

"That i am Miss Kat." He chuckled. "Perhaps that is why someone so graciously tacked an H onto the end of my name." Hat made sense but he didn't make them so why call him that? "I take it that is what you will call me from now on then?"

"If you are going to insist upon calling me something as formal as 'Miss' then I shall insist that you call me Katarina for formalities instead." She tilted her head before turning away from him, daintily placing one hoof into the water followed by another; testing the water cautiously before quickly prancing to the other side. "As for what I shall call you? Wouldn't that all depend on whether or not our paths crossed again after this? What if you were someone different then than you are now?"

He continued to chuckle as he watched her cross the stream. "Perhaps you will just have to see then." he doubted after all this time that he'd become someone else any time soon but one could never be sure. After all, he hadn't always been this, well mad, had he?

"Is there something in it for me were i to do so?" He tipped his head slightly before he walked slowly across the stream. The cold water was a slight shock but it felt nice anyway.

"Quite possibly." She called back towards him as she moved towards the woods. He would either follow or he wouldn't and, as far as she was concerned, it was neither a loss nor a gain no matter which way he went. If he didn't follow... There would be more sweet berries on the bush that she had passed earlier for her.

That was a tempting offer. He couldn't pass up the chance that he might get something out of anything so follow her he did. After all there were some good berry trees this way and he needed a snack.
