User ImageZaria felt quite suprised by Hakim's proposal. He didn't react the way she thought, which was good. She nodded in agreement and looked torward a possible patch of trees to sit under; She looked over to Hakim. "I think those ones over there would be alright." She pointed a paw toward a few trees and headed over to them, looking behind her to see if Hakim followed. She nearly jumped as she started to feel small drops of water fall onto her back.

He nodded and started to walk. "They seem to be ok." He said in a calm quiet voice. "We better hurry though, it looks like it could start pouring soon." He smiled and continued to walk slowly towards the trees. He knew she would follow since she's the one that didn't like the rain in the first place.

User ImageOnce Zaria got to the trees, she brushed off the small droplets in her fur. "There...thats much better.." She scooted along from the side of a tree trunk to give Hakim some room. "Oh! I forgot to introduce myself...I'm Zaria" She felt rude in a way, to not have introduced herself when Hakim already had. "Sorry for my being so late.." She laid herself down where she stood, looking down at the grass.

"Don't worry about it. I'm sure our little conversation was rather side tracking, Zaria." His voice had no emotion at all. He was a rather dull ulaya to run into. Or at least he thought he was.

"You weren't late, I just never asked for your name in return."He chuckled lightly and stood just barely out of reach of the tree. Rain didn't bother him, sitting to close to someone else was a bit bothering. He made sure they both had plenty of room. His greenish brown eyes looked into her orange ones. "Comfortable?" he asked making sure he picked a good tree.

User ImageZaria looked curiously at Hakim, her wings fluttering for a moment, noticing that Hakim had distanced himself a bit. 'is....something wrong?', she thought. She folded her wings against her back and looked down to the ground, messing with a small patch of grass. Unsure on what to say next.

"Hmm..?" She looked back up to Hakim "Oh, why..." she paused for a moment as she looked back into Hakim's eyes, a feeling of uneasiness washing over her. Zaria looked back down "Why yes, I am..." She turned her gaze up, looking torward the sky, or at least what was left of it to see from underneath the tree "Though...are you sure about standing there? .... It could get pretty cold staying out in the rain for too long.."

He gave a smirk. "I'm quite fine. I just thought you might want some space." He paused. "it's a bit crowded under there if more then one person sits." He said with a nod. "The rain won't do anything to me, don't worry." he said looking up at the sky and the back down. "I'm use to the rain."

User ImageZaria grimaced and pinned her ears back in reply to his smirk, she hated feeling like she was being looked down upon. "Oh...why, its sooo nice of you to care about my personal space.", she said in a sort of sarcastic tone. She got up and sat back down, relaxing herself next to the tree, so as to keep her wings from flitting again.

Zaria placed her paw onto her stomach as it started to growl. "Mmm..." she looked back over to Hakim. "How could you be so used to the rain? Surely, you must feel at least a little cold out in the rain..." She looked up as she started to hear small faint pitter-patters of rain on the grass and leaves.

He raised an eye brow at her. "Because, I wouldn't like to be so close to someone if I had only met them." He paused. "And since you are suppose to treat others how you'd like to be treated, that's why I would give you extra space." His tone had no rudeness in it at all. It was pretty calm as well. His fur had a light drizzle of rain on the top of it. One could see the water drops forming on it.

"Because, I like the rain. It's rather refreshing." He said in response. "No, not really. The wind isn't blowing too hard. As long as it stays down, I'll be fine."

User ImageZaria nudged herself off of the side of the tree and rested herself down onto her belly. She just couldn't seem to stay in one place or position, with the rain starting to sprinkle. She just hoped that it wouldn't get any worse. "Oh, of course, what was I thinking?" She looked down, a sheepish look on her face, sort of regretting what she had said earlier.

She looked up a bit, but only to watch the rain droplets hit the grass. "...Water doesn't really interest me..much." Her stomach suddenly growled again; she felt like just curling up from the small ache in her stomach. She looked along the horizon. 'Hmm...well it hasn't started to pour any harder yet..maybe I could...?' "Mmm.." She looked back down. she could wait..couldn't she?

He looked off too the side as he fell silent. There wasn't a need for him to talk just yet. He closed his eyes for a moment listening got the rain drops. Then looked back at her for a moment. "Yes, I have noticed you didn't like the Rain. Which is completely understandable." He said as he inclined his head.

He looked back at her and tilted his head just a slight bit. "Anything wrong?" He asked her. He could do something for her while she was stuck under a tree. Perhaps find a long big leaf to hold over her like an umbrella.

User ImageZaria looked down, her ears pinned back again, thinking as to how ridiculous it must seem for a ulaya to be so afraid of water; even small sprinkles of rain... She looked back over to Hakim after the small bit of silence. "What? Oh! Its, um...its nothing..."

Zaria crossed her paws while she laid down, until her stomach growled again. Well there wasn't really a way of hiding it now. "Uhh...ok, I've just been hungry, thats all..." she looked the other way, looking back to the horizon.

Hakim nodded as she said that there was nothing wrong. Of course, he knew there had to be. But it could have also been because of the rain. He looked up at the sky for a moment taking in the gray clouds above. The water slowly trickled down, it was more like a mist then anything.

He looked down at her as she said she was hunger. "Shall I get you something to eat? I know where there are some berries." He asked first before he was to actually go and get them. Though, if she said no, he would have to go and get them anyways. He wasn't going to let her starve.

"Or shall I got find a huge leaf, and let you get yourself something to eat?" he asked. He knew where there were huge leaves about. They would work good to keep the rain off, but he didn't know how heavy they were.

User Image"Huh?" Zaria looked quizically at Hakim "Oh, that won't be necessary, really, it won't.." She gave out a nervous laugh. She knew that she could try and venture out for herself to get food, it was just this darn rain that stopped her from doing so. She didn't want to seem weak and pathetic by having someone else fetch her something else to eat. Than again...cowering beneath a tree from a small sprinkle of rain didn't really look all that good either.

"Well, I can't really let you sit here being hungry. It'd be rather rude of me." He said with a calm quiet voice to him like normal. He didn't see a problem with it at all. There were a few berries close by, that he would think she would like, unless she was more of a meat eater, then he could try to catch a rabbit or something.

"You'd you like berries, or perhaps some meat?" He asked her. Ignoring her not wanting him to get her something. It would be much faster for him to get something for her, rather go find a huge leaf and hold it above her, with a chance of her still getting wet.

User ImageZaria grinned "The last thing that I need to worry about is wether if your being rude or not." She said, pokeing one of her paws out in front of her in Hakim's direction. "Besides, I could eat...this grass!" She said as she drew back her paw, leaning down and taking a small bite of the grass in front of her. She munched on it a bit, a small suprised, disgusted look crept up on her face as she chewed "See? I'm quite fine now..." she said after she gulped in the grass. She felt like gagging as she tasted the dirt flavored greens; now the fact that she had swallowed it in made her feel even more nauseous. Maybe that wasn't the best thing to do, now she felt worse.

"Either would be good I guess, but its fine! I'll...just go get it myself..." Zaria got up, lowering herself a bit so as to keep the leaves from getting in front of her face, and walked over to the edge of the border between her leafy shelter and the light sprinkle of rain. She flinched a bit as a few small sprinkles of rain hit her as the leave's became more open and loose, the small droplets falling between the 'cracks'. It wouldn't hurt to get a little bit of something to eat now, would it? She gulped and took a small step forward when suddenly a flash appeared in the sky, followed by a crack of thunder.

Zaria froze and then swiftly backed away to where she had laid down before. "Or...maybe I won't..." She said rather blankly, trying to hide her dissapointment.
