Dubhán hadn't honestly expected to gain much from the attack on the God. He felt the claws pierce through his muscles, but he didn't as much as let out a hiss. He was used to this kind of pain. For a quick second, while he steadied himself again, he contemplated continuing the fight. Seeing no point to it, he decided against it. For now.
He let out a coarse laugh. "Self-control?" he said "No, my dear friend" he spat out sarcastically "I have plenty of self-control" sensing that the other ulaya wouldn't attack him, he allowed himself a moment to think "Nobody has ever bothered enough to care about me, hence, I didn't care about them, and so I have found no reason to exercise that particular trait" he glanced at the blood on his shoulder momentarily before deciding that it wasn't worth his attention at the present time.

Yin continued to stand in silence for he didn't have a need to make a move and felt the conversation was practically over. He didn't care to hear excuses from the dark Ulaya and his attempts to impress Yin, or even himself for that matter. Yin was a silent Undulcan and didn't like much chatter anyway and with the other one running his mouth he began to feel irritated a little bit but didn't show it. He then sighed at the idea of the intruding Ulaya not intending to leave and let out a quiet sentence.
"Prove it." He wanted to see the extent this Ulaya would go to show that he had self control and wasn't just a mindless attacker. "Prove that you're everything you speak of." He never really spoke sentences that made sense to the straight minded and did this intentionally.

Narrowing his eyes slightly, Dubhán allowed a puzzled look on his face for a fleeing second. He had heard the sight that the God had let out, and he knew that the God was testing him. Only, he didn't know why. Or how for the matter.
"You want me to... prove it?" he paused for a second. In all honesty, nobody had ever asked him to prove anything. He had never had to prove anything to anybody except himself, and this unfamiliar demand was beyond what he had expected the God to throw at him. He sat there quietly for a moment, letting his tail swish back and forth in a habitual manner. It was evident that several different thoughts were flashing through his head, he had even allowed his barrier down enough for some emotion to be present in his usual cold and calculating eyes.
Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes for a few seconds before opening them again to stare intently at the God. For once, there was no malice in his eyes, no coldness. He was apprehensive, but intent on hearing the God out. "What do you want me to do?"

Yin was thrilled to hear the black Ulaya had accepted his challenge but never faltered his stare. He got entertainment off from the other creatures of the land and this new one was proving to be a promising toy. Thinking to himself for a moment more he grinned with the intent of pleasure and looked the Ulaya straight in the eyes. "There is a group a few miles behind me. My pack, in fact." He paused for a little moment and then continued on. "Meet them." This was all he said for he wanted to leave it open to his own judgement and opinion. He didn't want to effect the strange Ulaya's actions by talking too much and left it at that. "Unless you're too busy for that." He quietly let out as he turned around and slowly walked away into the shadows of the forest, leaving the black Ulaya standing alone and confused.

Dubhán stayed put for a split second, nothing but confusion showing on his face. As the God was slowly enveloped in darkness, Dubhán made up his mind. He would do this. He had never backed down from ANYTHING before, and this would be no different. He would show the God that there was more than just talk in him.
He didn't understand why the other black ulaya thought it a test to meet his pack. Dubhán didn't much care for company, that much was true, but it did not mean that he could not stand it. Company opened doors that would otherwise be closed, such as hunting for bigger, and much tastier, prey, and, more importantly, company also meant someone to taunt.
Snapping back from his pro and con thoughts, Dubhán looked up to see that the God had truly left now, and no trace of the other ulaya was left. Furrowing his eyebrows Dubhán got up and followed the general direction he had seen the black ulaya disappear in. How the hell was he supposed to find the pack if the God had just wandered off?!
Huffing slightly, he took a deep breath as he left the clearing behind, and let the familiar darkness engulf him. He couldn't deny the fact that part of him was curious to meet this pack of a God so mighty that he even sparked a certain part of respect in Dubhán. He prepared himself as he walked further into the woods, letting his instincts take over once more.

It was a warm and humid night, storm clouds began to roll in making the air cool down a little. The smell of rain was all around but not a drop had fallen from the sky, leaving a peaceful silence throughout the forest. No more then a couple of squirrels could be seen for more then an hour, most of the creatures were preparing for the weather and didn't want to be out in the rainfall.
Dubhán was deep in the thick of the forest before he began to see any sort of life at all. The god's land covered a vast range of trees and grassy field making it more then a three days walk to get from one side to another. Discouragement was the most common thing amongst visitors for there were slim pickings for food and lack of light for miles upon end.
Soon ahead was a clearing where Yin's pack rested most of their time but due to the oncoming weather they had retreated into the thickest part of the forest in their best efforts to stay dry. Dubhán found himself at a loss, alone in an open field with no leads as to where to look.

Glancing around, Dubhán cursed loudly. There were nobody to be seen around him, and if he wasn't much mistaken, it would start raining soon. Having no idea where to look for the pack, a large part of him encouraged him to just turn around, and make his way out of the area, and never return again. What had he, a lonely soul, to prove to this God anyways?
However, as soon as the thought had been thought, another, smaller part of him growled in resistance. He wasn't about to be bested. Even if this was a God, he would show him, that nobody could get the better of him.
A sudden bright flash could be seen, and Dubhán was momentarily blinded by the lightning. A short while later, the loud, unwelcome thundering sounds made their way to the panther's ears, telling him that the thunderstorm wasn't far away.
As he glanced up in the dark sky, a drop of rain hit him right between the eyes. He growled loudly, and started to make his way straight through the field. The smell of unknown ulayas was thick in the air, he knew that they had been here. He figured that they couldn't have been hiding the way that he had just come, he had been far too observant to miss something that massive, so he continued onwards, hoping to reach the forest on the other end of the field before it started pouring.

Reaching the edge of the forest shortly after the ran began to fall Dubhán sheltered under the tree's canopy as his umbrella. The forest was just as thick and gloomy as the other side had been and the sound of rain on the leaves grew louder as the storm picked up. The ever present feeling of eyes watching him stuck around but the darkness was overwhelming and made it hard to see through the rain.

Dubhán scowled in distaste as the rain started coming down harder. He didn't hate rain, but he sure as hell wasn't a fan of it either. He had, luckily, managed to find a rather shadowed area, that shaded him from the worst of the rain, but a lot of it still got through, and no wet cat was a happy cat.
A continuous prickly feeling in the back of his neck alerted him to the fact that somebody or something was watching him - he wasn't sure which one he would prefer - but it was hard to make out anything, even to his trained eyes.
Glancing around, it wasn't fear that was evident in his eyes. He wasn't even sure if he knew how to feel fear anymore, but annoyance. "Is anybody there?" he asked, the previous annoyance clearly exposed in his voice. "Show yourself" he grounded out.

The silence continued to fill the forest, the most unsettling silence that there could ever be. It was never a comfortable feeling to be on strange territory and unable to see or hear them coming. Listening to the rain's music through the trees the sudden sound of the ground shifting with a darted step became loud as ever behind the wandering Ulaya. Sound and then silence once again. Figures were impossible to shape through the thick rain and darkness.

Dubhán growled loudly, his claws out. He was feeling threatened now, he felt as if somebody was hunting him. He searched out a tree that gave the most shade from the rain, and sat down, back to the tree, and glared out into the pouring rain.
He heard shifting sounds all around him, and was sure that he saw movement out of the corner of his eyes, but when he looked, there was nothing but rain. His hair was up, and a constant growl was emitted from his throat, his tail twitching, as he sat there, waiting for whatever it might be that was following him to show itself.

A few minutes had gone by and the sounds had stopped, leaving Dubhán to himself in the wet darkness once again. Or he though he was by himself, but perched just above him on an upper tree branch was another Ulaya. One who had watched the entire event without being noticed. Scowling at the forest where the sounds had disappeared the Ulaya then looked down at the worried one sitting at the trunk of the tree.
"Did you see what it was?" Houndour finally spoke with a serious yet unsettled tone, still unsure of what to think about the situation. Yin had failed to mention that there was a visitor on the pack's land but Dubhán had the god's scent still lingering on him. If he was unwelcome he wouldn't be alive, Houndour was sure of that. He continued to lay on the thick tree branch with his right paw over his left, resting his chin on them to see the stranger more clearly.

At the voice, Dubhán looked up in alarm. He hadn't expected to be attacked from above. Jumping up, he whirled around in the air, so he faced the tree. His hair standing up, his sharp teeth bared, and his tail twitching violently. However, this proved more wet than anything else, as it removed him from the protection of the tree.
And he still couldn't really see the ulaya in the tree. The rain was coming down too hard, and the shadow melted in perfectly with its surrounding. Dubhán could only guess that the ulaya was brown. The only thing that stood out was a light greyish skull like shape, which would have sent any other ulaya shivering, but as any other thing this night, it just annoyed Dubhán.
The other brown ulaya came off as arrogant to the panther. He disliked arrogance. However, he knew his was on foreign grounds, and, much against his instincts, he took a deep breath, sat down, and looked back up at the stranger. "I thought it was you actually" he supplied "I don't suppose it could be another one of your pack members" he drawled.

Houndour sighed and gave a slight nod. "On the contrary." He sat up in the tree and stretched before leaping down just before the panther Ulaya. "I've been following him all night. Watching his moves, until you came along and messed things up." He didn't enjoy this stranger walking in on the pack's land and he didn't like being set back on his mission even more. "That was three days worth of stalking ruined because you can't walk quietly."
Shaking his head in frustration Houndour turned around and began to walk in the direction where the unknown creature had last been seen. The ground was muddy and made it impossible to track with and the rain washed away all scent left behind, leaving Houndour following nothing but his memory. "What are you doing on Mwezi land anyway?" He was confused as to why Yin had allowed this Ulaya to continue living but he had learned not to question the god with the scars to prove it. Padding through the muck he made his way into the shadows, hoping the unwelcome guest wouldn't follow him.

Dubhán backed a few steps as the other ulaya left his post in the tree, and took in the other male. From his gem, it was visible that he was a commoner. Not a hunter like himself. As the other was most likely a part of the God's pack, the black panther could conclude that he must be a scout for the group, a guard of some sort. Perhaps this was his ticket to finding the rest of the pack, like the God had challenged him to do.
Raising an invisible eyebrow and snorted. "Me?" he questioned "Not walk silently?" he continued "what a joke" was the conclusion.
As the other ulaya started walking away, Dubhán growled slightly in annoyance. "Asking a question and walking away?" he said "Thats rather rude..." he trailed off "What is this Mwezi land anyway?" he questioned, as he followed the other ulaya "And if you wanted to know why I'm here, your precious God told me to go meet his pack" he clarified "I'm guessing you're part of his pack"
