Sen sent a grumpy look toward the other cub. Her standing on the issue hadn't changed, and probably wouldn't. In her eyes, Zeki was just being a drama queen.
Actually... She wished her laid back brother would act like that for once to protect her! Not that she couldn't protect herself just fine or anything...
Mwokoti's eyes stared off behind the two, looking and things but not really seeing anything. She was too lost in thought. An interesting situation... "And you have not spoke to him about this? Told him of your troubles?" The Goddess breathed deeply.
To some level, she was on the same page as Sen. Maybe he just loved his son more than he loved all those other lions he'd mentioned? Mwokoti had her own son, and she felt that way. "Is there a time you know of when I could speak with him? I would like to get this settled for you. It saddens me such worries are on mere cubs lately."

"If you were to bring this to my father, then he would probably want to speak to me. However, that is not something I am looking forward to for a long white you see. He's been sleeping on and off lately, we even missed this morning's run too, a daily thing that we never pass over. He's been snoring up a storm at the den and well, I don't want to bother him something like this."
He looked back in the direction of Pride Rock wonder what everyone was doing.
"Well perhaps... perhaps we could go, but I don't want to leave Miss Sen by herself out here."

"It's your decision," Mwokoti assured him, mildly worried it sounded more like she was pressuring the cub than she thought. Sometimes, she felt like she wanted to just finish her job so she could move on to the next one. She always felt guilty for thinking that way, when it did happen. "Whatever you would like to do."
Sen had grown bored with the conversation, and had left Zeki's side in favor of Mwokoti's. Her tiny paws batted at the bundle of feathers, and she was so interested in them she barely caught her own name being said. "Huh?"
"Well, we can take Sen with us," suggested Mwokoti. "I can fly you both, or at least her. She seems very taken with the idea."
"Yeah!" the cub squealed. "I want to! Can we? Let's do that!"

Zeki smiled. He had not ran today... best make up for lost time.
"Alright then, Miss Sen will be taken by M'lady Mwokoti to my den. That is if you both can find it. However, I would have to guess two pretty girls with very smart minds can find it without me around. However, I bet with my speed and knowledge of where it be, I could get there first."
Zeki chuckled and dipped his head.
"Ready?"
He smiled.
"Set?"
He paused.
"GO!"
Without another gesture, Zeki dug his paws in and bounded off with the speed of many moons that had bundled into him. He sped off with great speed, as much as his cub body could manage without deteriation. He was gonna get there sooner or later. All one could hear was the faint laughter of the cub and a subtle cloud of dust trailing behind him.

Sen watched as the cub took off, and blinked rapidly for a moment. "He's weird," she huffed. Really, she didn't want to get there first. The longer she could fly around, the better.
Mwokoti had probably realized this. That, or she wanted to let Zeki win. Both, perhaps. The Goddess chuckled. "Perhaps." And she bent down somewhat. "Hurry up now, do not concern yourself with scratching me."
Sen didn't. She bolted up in between the set of wings, almost squealing in delight. What the hell? She squealed. Loudly.
"Careful not to fall," the Goddess instructed. Her wings spread out and began their movement. Seconds later, she was in the air, more focused on where Zeki was going on the voice coming from her back.
"This is so cool! Oh, look! Hey, we're higher than that bird! The rocks look so much cooler from up here!"

Zeki watched as the sun passed overhead as the large shadow was casted down upon him. Looking to his right and left, he saw the Goddess' wing span were quite formidable, then again, it was a shadow, the closer to the light the greater the shadow. As his attention was diverted, his paw caught something, sending him forward, tripping. With a slight tumble, he got right back up and kept on running. Uncle Kinari had once told him that he was a male and males where competitive "bastards" that had to prove their abilities to another. Be it truth or not, it had become a small part of Zeki's code of life. He just ran with delight.
"M'lady, how are you and Miss Sen!?" He called up to them. "Pride Rock is coming into view, that means the den is also."
Zeki and his family did not live at Pride Rock as most Pride Landers but a vast underground den just a little ways from. They were still close but still seperate.
The thought of his father was out of his mind as his attention was racing the Goddess of the Lost.

Sen was becoming annoyed with her fellow cub. Boys were so dumb. She always wished she had sisters her age, but no. Just brothers. "Can we fly again later?"
Mwokoti looked surprised by the question. She nodded. "Of course."
"Then, I think we should win," the cub determined voice went on. The Goddess chuckled.
"Alright."
Sen clung tightly as the wind whipped past them. Mwokoti sped like a race horse when the gates open, her shadow casting over Zeki as she passed him. Then, within the minute, she landed just as gracefully as before on the ground, turning toward the approaching cub.

Zeki ran faster than before after the shadow passed over him. It was a clear indication that the two females had passed him, but being a male member of his Father's side of the family, he had to try to beat them anyways. He pushed himself faster and faster until he saw the two land down before him.
He had lost.
With a reluctant smile, he slowed down to a walk and halted before them, panting heavily.
"Congratz, you won, Miss Sen, M'lady Mwokoti," he smiled and purred the best he good while taking deep breaths to refill his lungs again. With a tip of his head, he started to move off a bit. "The den's this way. Judging by the sun, mother must be out so that's just us then. Come on, this way."
He chuckled a bit and walked over to a burrow, overloomed by a rather small acacia. However, Zeki was walking much slower than he would normally, he wasn't looking forward to this.... at all.

"Yeah, yeah, let's just go." Even after she'd won, winning itself phased Sen very little, if at all. She just had the urge to knock Zeki off his high-horse (he reminded her of that stupid brother of hers), and since that had been done, time to move on to the next thing.
Which was watching the potential drama unfold that she really had nothing to do with. She settled down so she was almost laying on Mwokoti's back, but not quite doing so for risk of losing her grip. "He's slow," she commented lazily.
Mwokoti smiled uncertainly back at her. Directly behind the male of the two cubs, she nudged him with her nose and said gently, "Don't be afraid. Things will be okay. You have my word as a Goddess."

"I thank you, Lady Mwokoti, but Goddess or not, your word is all I can rely on right now. I no longer know how my father will react anymore... I suppose I'll just try my best to go along with the things that happen..."
Zeki was really unsure of himself, he had no idea what to do. He looked up at the Goddess and then to the female cub upon her back. He wasn't sure if what she said was even gonna work. Maybe he was just being stupid and making others go out of their way to do something that is completely pointless... Zeki paused for a moment, looking down at his paws. He was not known to make mistakes, clumsy, but not mistakes like this. He looked up with a spark of determination and bounded up ahead and into the small burrow like den.
Inside was very large and spaceous, maybe enough to fit two large lions like Uncle Trig and Ger upon one another for height and could fit many lions as well, it was just hotter than most during the day. Probably not the best place to be in the heat.
Zeki hopped up against his father's side, pushing him slightly.
"Dad, hey dad, come on, wake up!" he called, pushing him with all he could. Seeing as the effort was little, he hopped onto his shoulder and hit his head over and over. "Wake-Up-Dad-We-Got-Company-Come-On-Wake-Up-Already!"
Reluctantly, Ger's eye opened slightly as that teal orb, mostly hidden, slide up over at his son and smiled.
"Alright.. I'm up, I'm up," he yawned, roaring in the mix. "So who's here?"

Most of Mwokoti had expected this. The lion before her she immediatly dubbed as a kind one. Three life times, and three long ones, paired with the fact she was constantly in the company of multiple strangers (and rarely did she see the same individual twice, so almost everyone was a stranger), had given her a good ability to read others. Not to say it was always steady and correct, she had been fooled.
But...
"I'm sorry to wake you," the Goddess apologized. "I am Mwokoti."
Sen had moved from her back and now sat on her head, features perked in an adorable way. "My name's Sen!" she announced with an air of pride.

"Ah, a Goddess and a cub of the Pride Landers," Ger chuckled as he picked up his son and placed him on his chest as Ger laid on his back, looking for to them. It was evident that he did not show too much respect to others for he saw everyone equal, God or mortal. "My son finds rather... interesting friends it would seem and this is the fuirst time he brought a female home, what's better two, and beyond that both are pretty."
"Dad, stop that, you're gonna embarass them." Zeki spoke out, pawing at his father's chest. "This is my father, Ger."
"It is a pleasure to meet the two of you. So, what is the occasion that my son brought you two here to our den? It's rather rare for him to wander off on his own, even more to bring someone back. This is a first for him. So, what is it that he brought you here for?"
Zeki's almost instantly fell back. What now?

Sen's expression went sour. "Eww."
"Thank you," Mwokoti said instead. Gods, Mortals, they were different to her. Not in terms of respect, when push came to shove she generally didn't have it in her to respect anyone. It was the time that seperated them in her mind. Gods, generally, were endless. Mortals were not. A sad lesson she had learned long ago. "Sen, you and Zeki should go outside for now. See if you can actually win yourself against him racing."
"Aw, boo!" Had it been anyone else--no. Correction. Had it been someone without wings, Sen would've refused to go. But, in her mind, any disobedience might mean she wouldn't take her flying again later... "Alright. C'mon, c'mon!" she ushered the cub in the direction of the exit, darting out herself.
"Go on," Mwokoti told the remaining cub, nodding her head in the way Sen had taken off. She would see they were both gone before speaking to the other adult. "Zeki is concerned about an incident. Enough to summon me here."

Ger narrowed his eyes and gotten more serious.
"He told you about an incident? May I inquire which incident he may have mentioned?"
Ger yawned and rolled upward and onto his rump, tail curling around his paws slight with a paw rubbing his head, still a bit tired.
"You see, Zeki has gone to very far away places as a cub with me. We visit my brothers on many occasions and they aren't close to one another, if you know what I mean. One is by the sea line, another is in the deep south, while the other wanders a lot. So we travel a lot and a lot happens in those times. So I have no real idea on what 'incident' you mean."
He yawned again and just looked at her. Where was she getting at? What did Zeki tell these two exactly? What was going on here? Not something he was really wanting to wake up to... Thinking about it, he noticed that his mate was not around. He slept in again it seemed... Oh, Zeki will be rather cross taht he did not take him out for the morning run...

"I'm not here to pass judgement." It was always important to get that little detail out of the way. "In fact, I regretfully say I do these things by force." She just had to. It wasn't optional.
The Goddess breathed deeply and held it for a few seconds. "Zeki tells me of an 'incident' where he was in danger. It seems you defended him, however, he is shaken by the fierce way you did so. It's my opinion, not that they determine anything, you were just concerned for him, but... Those words were of little comfort to him, coming from myself or from another cub such as Sen."
Speaking of which, the mentioned cub outside was clearly aggravated. She'd wanted to hear that. "Where's your brothers and sisters?" If she couldn't, at least she could play with whoever was around.
