"Well, Atae gave me as close to a word-for-word as she could, hoping it might help. Lily's feelings were basically a... I don't know if severe is the right word, but a severe case of hero-worship from what I was told. Emotional attraction and adoration, nothing more. But I've gathered Lily didn't get out much when she was a kit, and Remus was basically her entire world... so I can see how it happened."
He held the door open for Ginny as she exited the room and then followed. He'd never really realized he was being any sort of chivalrous, it was just something he'd always done. "And feelings always have the potential to hurt... I've dealt with lots of that. As long as I won't lose Lily's friendship I can deal with it. She probably won't be ready for a romantic relationship right away after she figures out what I'm actually telling her... so I'll wait." He shrugged, a strange little almost-smile on his face. Lily was certainly worth waiting for.
"Here just to talk to me?" He blinked and paused in his steps. "Well, it hadn't crossed my mind before you said something..." He gave Ginny a teasing glare. "Anyway, what sort of tea do you like? I know where they keep most of it, unless they moved it again."

She listened raptly. Well as raptly as she was able with the changes in her body. Having this kind of insight... well if she was a meddling sort...
Ginny suppressed a chuckle. She had certainly become a meddling sort. At least she was progressing better with this meddling than the other. But then it was hard to stay controlled when it was so easy to flare up at her brother. Especially when she thought he was being a git. Which he was.
Paying more attention to Endless than she ever really had before the redhead found herself giving a nod of aproval for his chivilrous actions. After her father and the other males in their extended family -not to mention Trelweny's mindset which had a tendency to rub off a little on all of them- Liliana needed someone who would be able to treat her properly and with respect. As an aunt and expectant mother, Ginny found herself not minding if that someone for Lily was Endless.
Then she was giggling at the teasing glare she got, not about to tell the truth. But at Endless talking about where the tea was in the kitchen the hot tempered witch laughed out loud. "Me not know where something's kept in this kitchen? I've not been away from the this kitchen that long have I?" Then before she had really had a chance to think she was casting a dangerous glance into the kitchen and storming inside. "They'd better not have moved it! Better not have moved anything!"
And as she checked the kitchen with a vengeful fury, Ginny completely forgot to state which tea she would like -snapping her wand angrilly to set a teakettle of water on the stove to boil.

Endless followed Ginny in, an expression on his face somewhere between a frown and a grin. "I think some kids come in here and move things once in a while for a prank or something, it usually gets put back sooner or later..."
He watched her angry wand flicking and scooted a bit farther away from the stove, by this having lost the frown and trying not to chuckle. "Did I say something or is this just the wrath of the righteous?" He thought he'd try a little bit of teasing, but didn't want to push too hard. He wasn't exactly sure what Ginny's temper was like normally, but pregnancy could make it worse and he didn't really want to get her too riled up.
"Out of curiosity, have you ever seen Liliana play?" He figured she'd know what he was talking about. Lily seemed quite enveloped in her world of books and potions, and he was curious if she'd ever been known to attempt something outside of it. He was thinking about seeing if she knew how or might want to learn to play chess, at least... it was a thinking man's game. He enjoyed it, personally, but hadn't had much opportunity to play of late. Ifrit was more the rough-housing type and Valefor had her paws full with Seer.

"Wrath of the rightous." She confirmed with a curt nod, checking the last of the pantries and giving a nod as things were not too out of place. Waving her wand Ginny sent the out of place items back to where they belonged before even really hearing what Endless had been saying. Wrath of the righteous? She started to grin, liking the sound of that. Much better than just saying she was hot-headed and had a temper.
Then his question caught her totally off guard. "Play? Liliana??" She almost laughed before noticing that Endless was serious. Ginny calmed almost instantly. "You're not kidding... wow. Let's see... play... well we did teach her how to play Wizard's Chess, and though she's good enough at it I don't think she plays often." Her pale pink face was nearly contorted as Ginny contemplated any possible time Lily might have played and sighed, not coming up with any. "I think Hemi gets her into tickle fights sometimes. More since he seems to be an adolescent now. But that's really it." She looked stunned at the discovery.

Endless raised an eyebrow at the mention of Wizard's Chess. But the rest of what she said about Liliana didn't actually sound odd to him at all. Though now Ginny had him wondering if Liliana was ticklish.
"I didn't really think she had. I know she likes to read for fun, though I don't think she reads stories as much as I do. I hope she's at least taken my advice about doing something for herself once in a while. She runs around crazy trying to do everything expected of her all the time, she needs to relax more..." He pondered briefly. "Maybe we need to find a game she'd like? Maybe a trivia game or Scrabble or something, that involves her book knowledge..."
He watched the last of the things float into their appropriate cabinet and finally decided to ask, "So, what's that Wizard's Chess you mentioned? Is it very different from the "Muggle" version?" He remembered that term and Lily's explanation for it, and couldn't help wondering how many others he was going to be introduced to before he finally had the whole "wizardry" thing figured out.

When had this turned into a giving Endless clues about Liliana session? Not that it mattered really, but it made Ginny more than curious. He's trying. That's sweet. And he really does care about her. Duh. Love. She chuckled, glancing at the stove hopefully.
"She relaxes with you." The witch heard herself saying then blinked. Where had that come from? Ginny had not been intending to say that, but it was the truth. She had seen it when the two were together the other day. Should she be truthful and say that Liliana also relaxed when with the fullmetal? At least when they were not discussing something not relaxing.
Coughing mildy Ginny pressed on as if she had never said a thing. "Different in the moves, no. The pieces just destroy each other when they take a square. No big." Black roded shoulder's shrugged. It was everyday for her.

What Ginny said made him happy, but it also looked like there was something she was not saying. Should he ask?...
The mention of the pieces destroying eachother distracted him. "They... destroy eachother?" Well, it's not like it didn't make any sense. Chess was basically a toned-down war game. But... "Doesn't that get messy?"
He looked over at the stove as well. "Is there any black tea with lemon? They were out last time I was in here..."
His emotional fatigue was starting to catch up with him. He'd have some tea and then he'd probably head home so he could think things over and maybe get some rest. He hadn't slept much while Atae was under the weather either, and it wasn't really helping right now.

"A little." Again the shrug. "I mean they're not huge pieces. Most of the debree stays on the board. Nonchalantly Ginny flicked her wand floating out black tea and chamomile tea bags. She made a grimace, not caring much for the camomile but knowing it had no caffine which was better for the kits she carried.
She felt herself yawn, only barely getting her paw to her mouth in time then chuckled. "Dang I need sleep all the time lately. Here's the deal -I'll stick around to share tea with you but then I'm apparating home to my bed."
Brown eyes fixed on him. "And don't be scared to come over sometime. I know Liliana will like it."

Endless retrieved bowl, water, and teabag. "Fine by me. I think I need to go home and nap myself. And... think."
He watched the tea steep and when it looked dark enough he blew on it for a few moments before taking a drink. "And I'll be over in a day or two." He waited until he finished his tea and put the cup in the sink before adding, "And I'll bring you some of our herbal tea mixes. They're non-caffinated too. Our human doesn't much care for chamomile either, so maybe one of them will suite you better too."
With a lopsided grin and a final farewell he saw Ginny off - waited for her to apparate - and then headed toward his own home with many things to think about. And one particularly important one.
