Laughing, Rebecca shrugged. "I don't know. The boys around my house seem to care when Stephen trails them for too long. Then again, it's usually because he's after something of theirs."
"Cool looking?" Stephen was skeptical. Rock formations were boooring. "How?"
Lavanya grabbed the pointing hand and tried to tug Yana along to the rock pile. "Let's go look!" She said, looking past Yana to her mother and waving with her non-tugging hand.

"Something of theirs that's shiny? Car keys, jewelry, belt buckles?" Amyla suggested, again very grateful that none of her children had that particular inclination for shinies. She shifted Caleb's weight again, smiling at her son. "I t hink Aiodhan would enjoy having a boy following him around. Getting his testosterone levels stabilized, I guess."
Yana opened her mouth to answer but was already being tugged by Lavanya in the direction she had pointed. She looked over at her mother and quickly signed with her free hand where they were headed before jogging to keep up with Lavanya. "Okay! Rrrocksss arrrre cool. Dddey brreak sssometimesss when you bang dddem on biggerrr rrrocksss!"
Amyla smiled. "Yana says they're heading for a rock pile in that direction. They'll still be within visual range," she said, adding on the last part for Rebecca's sake.

"Oh yes. It's always interesting to find out what's missing. Though that's not the only reason. He enjoys the attention." Chuckling, she glanced up at the sky, blue gaze searching for some meaning up above. "Aiodhan sounds like fun."
"Neat!" Both unicorns were eager to see something new, and possibly cool. Plus, some rocks were shiny, and shinies were the best thing ever. "How's he break them?" Lavanya skipped along, letting go of Yana's hand and twirling about happily.
Rebecca nodded, turning to spot where they were headed. "Okay, good."

"Aiodhan is a royal pain in my a**. And I love him." Amyla chuckled softly, ruffling Caleb's hair. "Very few kids hate attention. Maybe he's just looking for a male role model." Poor Caleb. He'd be lacking for male role models in their house, save for his father and one older brother amongst a family of girls.
Yana glanced back and forth between the unicorns, missing most of what was said when she wasn't facing them. Being deaf was a true handicap at times. "Errr..." She fidgeted. "What'd you sssssay?"
