Not completely situationally but more attitudeinally.

CthulhuKitty Beware of what might possibly be construed as EMONESS I know it's totally lame, but truth be told, I've not left my house without being escorted by my husband or mother in roughly 5 months. Everyone I used to know has stopped speaking to me (or in one case I stopped talking to them). I'm just so lonley lately. I've got a kid on the way, my husband hates me and I just recently discovered he's cheating on me again, he won't do one of the only two things that I've told him that he has to do if he wants me to stay (after saying "I'll do ANYTHING!!!" and I just asked him to go to therapy and clean the ******** litter box because I can't while pregnant), I need to talk to my father but I've got no idea how to go about it because of all the s**t we've put each other through, my mama (who is my best friend) isn't doing so hot health wise, my kid sister has hit puberty and realized what a failure I actually am (instead of the way she used to idolize me), I've yet to get my GED, I'm afraid I'm going to be a terrible mom, I've got no marketable job skills and I can't do most jobs because of how ******** up my vision and hearing is (not to mention how slow I have to move to do things properly), I'm afraid to ride the bus because convicts hit on me, I'm bad at striking up conversations with people. I'm a mess on the inside and it feels terminal. I just wish I could find ONE person to relate to, you know? Sorry if this is a stupid topic. As far as I've read it's not against the rules, but if it is feel free to delete it sweatdrop that is not emoness, that is something that hurts anybody

Okay, I'm gonna sound like a total b***h, but this is one of the reasons why I'm considering staying single for the rest of my life.
And yeah, you can declare your love to someone over and over again, but it doesn't mean a thing if the other person's all like "yeah, whatever...". But that also may mean he's had some hardships himself and he's grown to not be quite as expressive as you'd like for him to be. Men are confusing like that...

It could just be me, being bitter against males... BUT. If he's not in it to win it, or to make your marriage work, then you two should probably sit down and have a chat. You need to let him know that this is his family you're starting inside you, and he's gotta be there for you and help you out. Otherwise you're hitting the road, Jack. Or .. whatever his name is.
You deserve to be treated as a beautiful queen. And if he doesn't do that, you need to find someone who does. Ever seen "The Holiday"? If not, I recommend it. It's a good pick-me-up movie, and it's funny and inspirational. That's what the two female leads do in the movie, they're not happy, they go in search of something bigger and better.
Actually, there's a part of the movie where Iris is talking to Miles and she's talking about getting over sadness and moving beyond obstacles, etc. And she says that "you'll meet people who make you feel worthwhile again. And little pieces of your soul will finally come back."
Maybe that's what you need, is some people who make you feel worthwhile. Especially if you're lacking in friends, I think widening your circle of influence and advice can be really helpful. More people to go to when you have problems, and more people to share the good times with. 3nodding

Thank youfor all of your kind replies. Here's a bit of an update:
THINGS ARE GOING GREAT!!! He's been going to individual therapy and then asked me if I'd be willing to do couples therapy. We've been going to that every week, and he always does the assignments that our therapist gives us. It's been going strong for a month now. Yesterday he went even though he really didn't want to and didn't shut down when he thought I was attacking him (slight misunderstanding on his part blaugh ). We've worked out a bunch of compromises for problems that we've been having. We're not arguing as much. He's got a much better job now, paying the most he's gotten since we've been together. He's so excited about the baby, and he's always rubbing my tummy and talking to it. He even reads it bedtime stories 4laugh Things are MUCH better. Even my mama (who is a notorious man-hater) agrees he's improving and even lets him back in her home again.
I just want to thank all of you again for all of your support through all this rough time. You ******** ROCK!!!
