She grinned down at him then purred, tail swishing back and forth in a playful way. "Poor dear..." She leaned down quickly and licked his cheek, and ebfore he could react quickly scampered back to hide behind Jedrek, giggling. "Weelll... My charms can get me quite far. You don't always have to use violence to get what you want... After a bit of coaxing... Anyone will let you do whatever you want."

"ARRGG!" he yelled out as she darted away. quickly rubbing his paw against his skulled cheek. yanking his paw down and slamming it onto the ground as he glared over at Calypso who had wisely taken shelter behind his uncle
"well you're charms won't ever work on me! Got it! so tread lightly!"
letting himself plop down he curled up in his sulk, not looking at either of them.
Jedrek smirked, a deep cackle emitting from the gash in his chest. turning his head slightly just enough to see Calypso behind him.

Calypso giggled at Jayce's reaction. It was exactly what she wanted him to do. Yell and sulk. She peeked around Jedrek and stuck her tongue out at him then snickered. "I bet I could win you over if I truely wanted too... But I'd be a bit nicer. I saved your life today." She flicked her tail in his direction. "Why don't you just run along home and have your mommy sew you up. And leave your uncle and I... alone." She glanced to Jedrek and purred softly.

Jayce sat up. curling an unseen lip at her words
"I don't HAVE a mommy, Idiot" sneering. he pushed himself gingerly to his feet. being fed up with her, saved his life. HAH, she had no idea what he was even trying to do.
the thought of seeing his family was also very strong. and with out another world he sulked away grumbling darkly under his breath.
Jedrek watched him go. shifting his wight and lowering himself to the ground he looked up at Calypso, remaining where he was out of her request. since she did seem to want him to stay.

"Mommy... Daddy, whatever." She waved a paw at him as he left, then turned back to Jedrek with a sly grin, eyes half liddded. Gracefully she moved to lay down beside him, though she made sure to put a good 2 or 3 inches between them. She was already filthy enough... From all the walking around and swimming in the swamps. She'd be sure to bath and brush her fur when she got home. But, she didn't think Jedrek would mind... She batted her eyebrows up at him before laying her chin in her paw.
"Jedrek..." She cooed. "What do you think about me? Do you think I'm different from other females?"

Jedrek slowly turned his head towards her as she said his name. then took a moment to consider the question she had asked him.
"yes" he answered truthfully.
cocking his head slightly to the side he raised a brow "neither Coffee... nor Candy" he paused again "almost both, somethin' more"
he popped his jaw, and crossed his paws
"thats the observatin' anyway"

She grinned wider, the answer obviously pleasing her. "Hmm.. Yes. Good..." Her ears flattened, her long bushy tail wrapping around her. "Do you think I'm pretty?"

it was probably a good thing that he was in the kind of mind set to think about what she wanted to hear... instead of telling her the truth of his being.
slurping and eying her for a moment, in truth, he found nothing beautiful he found nothing ugly. hew wondered if she knew that.
"you have euiqu, and exotic features... that I can honesty say I have never seen on another Numa before" he turned his head again eyes shifting towards hers "I have to admit they to catch ones eye"

This answer also seemed to please her. She knew she wouldnt get the answer of 'Yes! You're amazing!' like most males would have given her... In fact she hadn't really wanted it. Just knowing that Jedrek thought of her as different from the rest.. it was good enough for her.
Her head bobbed slowly with a nod, and she lowered her head to her paw again, eyes closing as she pondered... She had promised Equis she would give him a chance, as well as Jedrek... But she knew that in the end, he wouldnt be enough for her. But Jedrek.. He was new and fresh, and original.. She knew she'd never meet anyone like him. Not ever... She wanted him. Not particuarly as a mate or lover. He was a possesion, a thing... her being a collecter of truely unique things...
Then again, to 'own' him, she'd have to give part of herself in return. The thought of truely being commited to someone sickened her. Though... That was the magic of being with Jedrek. She knew that he'd never be jealous or angry at her if she just randomly ran off to flirt and be intimate with some other random Numa...
It was cruel. But it was what she wanted.
Several minutes passed and she just laid there and thought, occasionally her ears and tail twitching. "Jedrek.." She mumbled, eyes still closed. "Would you like to... mate with me?"

he had to admit, that was not something he expected to be asked, by anyone let alone her. hair draping over half of his face as his head moved slowly to the side, staring off into the distance.
"I am indifferent" he said slowly "I do not feel for you as a livin' male would." he turned his head a little more, eyes still not meeting hers, "and I'h never will" his eyes finally met hers, as cold and unchanged as they always were
"if it is somethin' you want, then yes. but I can not care"
he felt like he had given this speech... well something similar to it, at least a hundred times. and he found that most of the time. they never fully understood. and when they did, there grew a noticeable distance between them

Well, at least he hadn't said no. Her eyes opened and watched him stare off into the distance as he spoke, her expression not showing any sorrow or rejection. She smiled softly, actually looking quite happy.
"I don't want you to love me. And... Well. I don't really think I'd ever love you either. You are rather repulsive after all..." She glanced away, then back at him, shifting so that she was sitting up. "As long as you promise yourself to me, I'll be happy... Say you'll be mine before anyone else."

Jedrek let out a cackle. amused he pushed to his feet, turning his body to face her.
a soft slurp from his lips and he smirked, eyes half lidded. obeying her order he nodded
"I will be yours before anyone elce"
she never ceased to do the unexpected. while he foresaw her turning and walking away, she was telling him to be hers. his curiosity peaked a bit. wondering how this was going to turn out.
"yours and only yours." he said again with another slurp.

She smirked, eyes half lidded as well, though glowing rather brightly from the victorious emotions pumping through her. He was her's.
"Good." Note, she didn't promise her self to him in return. Her victory soon faded as she realized what she had to do next... She grimaced and frowned up at him. She reeeeally didn't want to touch him, let alone lick him. But... what had to be done, had to be done... It was the only way.
She gulped, then quickly leaned up on her back legs, tilting her chin up to flick a tongue over his unchipped horn. For a moment she thought she'd gag, but managed to sit back down without coughing and reeching... Barely.
She forced a weak smile and wipped her mouth with her paw, then stared up at him expectantly, waiting for him to do the same.

Chuckling again at her reaction, he had not expected her to actually do that. but it was part of the ritual, and he supposed he should mimic her and try as well.
concentrating for a moment to clear his mouth of blood, he stepped forward, and careful not to actually touch her, licked her.
he could not taste so he had no idea what he was supposed to expect.
but the act was done.
he sat back down, blinking slowly at her.
they were officially Mated

She smiled, though it was still a bit forced. HE couldnt taste, but she sure could. She wipped her mouth a bit more then sighed contently. Victory! He was offically her's now... Only her's.
"Well. Glad that's over and done with..." She purred softly. "I'd take you to meet my parents, if I had any..." She paused for a moment, pondering an affectionate n**.. But.. after glancing him over she couldn't find any place that was cut open, bleeding, or just.. rotted. She sighed and just stood, flickering her tail at him.
"I'll probably be going home now.. You may come if you want."
