Victor gave a little grunt as he helped pull Tommy up , now facing Tommy more eye to eye since the batman was on all fours, while Victor was more on all...whatever number of legs he had. "ccan't sssee ccolorr?" Victor repeated back and shook his head "I'm sssorry Tommy, at leasssst you sstill ggot a ggood hhead on yourr sssshhoulderrs, whhen you'rre not on painkillerrsss thhat issss" Victor said, smiling a little.

"Yeah...everything just started...fading out when I changed..." he said with a sigh, "But, I'm only really awake during the night anyway, so color doesn't really matter." Tommy laughed at the next bit, "Hah...yeah, I've just been waiting so long for this, yaknow? Lost my hands three weeks after I got here...finally got something in return for it..." He gave a sad grin and attempted to wrap a wing about Victor in a friendly hug (being sure not to touch his broken limb) "But thanks for watchin' me fall man...you really think flying into the lake's better though? I mean...last time I tried to swim, Newt almost ate me..."

The wing around Victor didn't bother him at all as he did his best to return the hug, putting an arm around Tommy. It was slightly easier now than it was before his last change, having only one pair of arms to deal with instead of four small baby arms. "Yeahh, you ggot Winggssss now" Victor said, the large limbs on his back twitching as he held onto the Bat-man.
"No prroblem Tommy, We gotta lookk out forr eacchh othherr you kknow? Winggmen orr ssssomethhingg likke that" Victor said and frowned at the mention of someone trying to Eat Tommy, but didn't saying anything about it

Tommy grinned, glad to have Victor as a friend...truly glad. For a moment...yaknow, besides the fur...scales...wings...and weird limbs, he almost felt like he was back home just doing stupid things with friends. He gave a small laugh, for once just happy to have someone to talk to. "Yeah, I'll be your wingman," he said with a chuckle.
"But...yaknow what...I think I'll do that...yeah. I just hope the resident of that duplex won't mind a bat on his roof," he said while stretching out the kinks in his wings.

Victor likewise was very glad to have Tommy as a friend, out of all the bad crap that was going on, the fact he could trust one person, confide in them and have them as a good friend, gave Victor something good to focus on.

He nodded a few times as he practiced moving foreward and backward on all fours...it had been easy the other night wih Lauren, mostly because out of necessity, he hadn't thought about it. But since then, it took some more coordination he was used to, to move around 'normally.' Sure, it was mostly just him walking on his 'knuckles,' but his wings were a bit longer now, putting him off-balance.
"Weelll...cool, man," he said, turning his now furry face toward Victor. "Where're you headed right now?"

Tommy continued moving back and forth, jumping sideways and back a few times...strangely enough, he seemed extremely agile considering his current phsyiology. "Ah, cool...goddamn my arms hurt like hell now though...think I'm going to try and glide more...tomorrow. May just go 'n watch a movie tonight."

Tommy brightened up a bit a that, a grin on his face. "Weeelll....I dunno! I'm more of a horror man, myself. But, most people don't realize that horror comes in many different sub-genres. Like...say, quite a few horrors could really be labled comedy...depending on who's watching it. But, hell, if you're up for it, lets go see what they have, eh?" he said with a pleased bat-like chitter. Still grinning, he hopped back and forth anxiously.

"Ssssoundss ggood to me, I likke horrrorr moviessss oncce and a whhile" Victor said as he started to crawl in the direction of the Entertainment room, Tommy was looking excited and anxious, and for a moment, Victor wasn't sure to be happy for Tommy or slightly concerned.
The lizardmn was doing much better moving around now, only stumbling occationally, but not always falling down. But eventually he and Tommy got to the entertainment room and Victor forced the door open after som effort, holding it open for Tommy to get inside. "Alrrigghht, you picckk thhe movie out Tommy"

"Thanks," Tommy said happily before bounding into the entertainment room to take a look at the movie selection. In all honesty, he had the vast majority of the movies memorized by heart at this point...but he still liked browzing. "Hmm...alright, how 'bout these: Dawn of the Dead...the new one with the running zombies, Dead Alive...the goriest zombie movie of all time, or maybe...from Dusk 'till Dawn...? Any of those catch your fancy?"

"Didn't Peterr Jacckkssson do Dead Alive?" Victor asked as he pushed the door open a little more then crawling inside, the door closing on the thick part of his tail before he could get all the way inside, making Victor yelp. With a rear leg, the lizardman kicked the door open, then dragged the rest of himself inside.
"Be gglad you don't hhave to deal withh the pain of hhavingg a tail tommy" Victor crawled around before getting up on a couch, trying to get as comforible as he could get. No easy feat when one has legs growing everywhere, including a splinted broken leg on his back.
"Dead Alive ssshhould be ggood, if we'rre gggoingg to watcchh a zombie movie whhy not thhe ggorriesssst one?"

Tommy grinned in what could only be a guilty pleasure before attempting to claw that DVD case out of the shelf. He frowned as he did so, realizing that this was going to be...difficult to say the least. "Just ah...gimmie a moment..." he said as he tried to pry it open with his thumb-claws. It seems he was having more than a few problems...especially since he no longer had anything resembling hands where they should be.

Victor turned the DVD player on and opened up the DVD tray with the remote then looked on as Tommy had trouble opening the DVD case. The Lizardman felt conflicted in if he should offer to help or not, knowing some people were sensitive about doing things themselves, but also remember how Tommy used his foot to manipulate the remote last time
