Nix stayed as still as possible as Seki climbed up to nestle himself upon her back. She smiled warmly, cubs were so amazing, she longed for some of her own, truly she did. Though she still had to find her sister before any of that could be possible, she was sure of that, or at least as sure as she could possibly be. "All settled then?" she asked with a giggle. Standing up straight, Seki was nestled upon her perfectly, and her wings could move with ease.
"Wherever the wind carries us Seki, you ready?" crouching down and then pushing from the earth with her paws, her wings carried them from the ground, to hover a bit over where they had just been, "I won't go too far up, unless you want me to Seki, alright?" Nix then began flapping her feathered wings and glided through the air, peering down at the tall grasses, peering at the stone silhouette not too far away.
"So how do you like it from up here hmm?" she asked with a smile and a soft laugh.

"WOW!" Sekizen said as his eyes took in so much more than they ever had at once. He couldn't believe it, he really was flying! And not just flying really close to the ground, but up high! The cub couldn't contain himself, but couldn't find many words adequet enough to describe how he felt the experience was. "This is amazing!" he said, finally. It was the best he could come up with.
"I'll bet you could fly right over Pride rock, couldn't you!?" He suggested, wondering what he'd be able to see from this viewpoint. He silently wondered if she saw this kind of sight all the time.

Nix giggled, keeping herself steady with her black tipped feathered wings. Seki seemed to be enjoying himself, which was grand. She saw this all the time, but this, showing Seki, made it different and even more exciting then it usually was. Her blue hues settled on Pride Rock, so that was what it was called? She wondered if her sister had seen it before, it was beautiful after all.
"Of course we can, just hang on, alright?" she said with a smile, bringing them both up higher, it was so easy today, then again, there was barely any wind to give them resistance, it was nice, quite nice. Nix peered down at the large stone formation, and it was truly amazing from this angle.

Sekizen held on as tight as he could, not using his claws at all, but tightening his front legs. He leaned over as far as he could without loosing his balance, trying to get an even better view than this. He'd never seen the famous formation from such an angle, and doubted he ever would again. Perhaps one day he'd climb up that formation, but he hadn't gotten a chance to take that adventure yet.
"This is so cool, Nix!" He said excitedly. He couldn't help but wonder if he should call her by a more formal name, it'd seem only proper to do so after so much kindness she'd shown him.

"I'm glad you like it Seki," she said with a smile, she kept higher up nod, towards the clouds, she figured if anyone spotted them from below, a rumor may start of somehting bad about to happen, being attacked by a god or goddess or somehting...which she didn't want to happy at all. "Hang on alright?" she said with a smirk, a gleam in her eyes, and spying the water hole, and that no one was around it, Nix dove down, but steadied herself so Seki wouldn't fall.
Bringing them to the surface she glided over, dipping her paws into the water, droplets splashing up in her face and over onto her back where Seki lay.
She couldn't remember the last time she had this much fun.

Sekizen laughed as he felt the wind in his fur, the spray in his face. He was glad to have met Nix, this had to be the best experience he'd had so far in his life.
Sekizen put a lot of thought before he dared even ask his next question... His next request for their flight trip. He couldn't resist it, he felt that if she kept her wings right, he'd be able to hang on. "Can you do a flip, Nix?" He knew it'd be a fun maneuver, dangerous, but fun. He wasn't normally the type to take risks, but his curiousity won him out.
He shifted his front paws to grasp, without using his claws, near her wing's base, just in case she decided to do it without warning.

Nix's heart warmed when she heard little Seki laugh, laughing was always a good thing, those and smiles, smiles...somehting about that made somehting flash and click in her head, musing erupted, but soon overthrown by the voice of Seki, asking for a flip. A flip? Nix giggled aloud, turned her head so that her neck craned back so her eyes could focus on him, "Really, you sure? Alright, just hang on, I won't let you fall, I promise...I promise..." she muttered again, so he'd feel safe.
She didn't want him scared at all.
While fleeting over the water, Nix pulled herself up a bit, and without a sound, flipped both of them over so that if Seki's tail fell, it would touch the water's surface, she didn't wait to check before they were right side up, and then she descended into the long grasses where she fell forward and laughed.
It was so wonderful to have so much fun.

"WOOO!" Sekizen cried as she performed the flip maneuver. It was a lot more fun than he had expected it to be. He'd never felt gravity pulling from his head as he had when the were upside down. His tail, indeed, did get wet when they were upside-down, flattening the fluffy tuft at it's tip. He had, however, been glad that he had shifted his grip, it really made a difference, it felt.
He wore an ear-to-ear smile and was laughing the whole while- just wait until he told his mother about this! He wondered, silently, if she'd ever met a god or goddess. He'd come to like them, Nix had to be the coolest adult friend he had.

Nix giggled and lay back in the grass and peered up towards the sky, for a long time she remembered she was afraid to fly, afraid she might shock herself and fall, but now, now look at her, taking her friend Seki into the sky, and he got so much joy from it. For that she was glad, it was great to see him have so much fun. "Take it you liked that then?" she said with a smile, touching a wingtip to his nose, "I'm glad it made you happy Seki, really I am, your markings an color seems to make it look like you belong in the sky regardless of you not having wings ya know..." she said with a smile.
It was the truth too.
His markings looked like black bolts of lightning, it was truly intriguing.

Sekizen lay down beside her in the grass, just proof of how much larger an adult was than him. His mind chewed on her words for a moment.
And then Sekizen smiled larger than ever, his teeth showing all the way back to his first molars. She liked his markings? She liked his markings??? Nobody had ever made a postive comment on his markings! He was always so different from everyone, so very different, especially his paw, but he'd heard negatives from his lightning mark on his face. He'd been told hit was like a black cut.
"You like my coat?" He asked in disbelief, sitting up. "Nobody's ever really liked my coat, it's either been unworthy of comment or negative feedback!"
He still couldn't believe that she liked it... She liked his coat!

"Yea, its very nice," she said happily, flicking her tail, "Negative feedback? Who would say such a thing? Its unique and wonderful, the darker marks appear as bolts of lightning, which appeal to me, perhaps not so to others, but never listen to what negative things others have to say, they are more likely envious of your markings, so wear them proudly Seki," she said with a smile a giggle and a gentle nudge of her paw against his shoulder.
Why listen to negative things when you can be happy and proud of who you are?
Such things made no sense, as to why others say negative things of others.
"I have to go shortly Seki...to release some more energy, I don't want to stay too close, I don't need any getting hurt you understand" she looked at him with her eyes, a look in them in a way pleading and hoping that he would not be angry.
She hoped he would understand.

The cub nodded, mostly amazed. She had duties, too? Perhaps being a goddess was a full time job. Part of him wanted to see what she was about to do, but she was probably right, it was probably dangerous. "I understand, Nix," Sekizen said. "Have fun!" He had to believe that making lightning was fun.
"Will I ever see you again?" He asked hopefully.

Nix smiled and flicked her tail as Seki responded, her eyes showed happiness and gratefulness to Seki for understanding. "Thank you Seki, and I'll try, sometimes its hard to control lightning in the midst of a storm, though its a challenge none the less, and thus thrilling," she stated with a nod.
Taking a few steps back she let her wings fall from her back, stretching a bit before she would take to the skies, she gave him a sincere smile, "Of course Seki, 'll come back and see you, and if there's ever a storm, ad you see my sparks, just call my name."
Seki was a fine young lion, and a great friend, she'd come back to see him, she'd come back.
Nix gave him one last smile and took to the skies in a leap, peering down with blue hues she gave him a wave of her paw and then disappeared into the clouds.
Sekizen, a friend of couds and black lightning, she'd come back for sure.

Sekizen watched the goddess ascend into the clouds, off to do her job. He remembered what he'd have to do to meet her again, etched it into his mind. He wondered about what an amazing job it must be...
And with that, and the realization that at least somewhere a storm was brewing, Sekizen quickly decided that he must get home, in case his mother worries. He turned and took off, running as fast as his cub-paws would carry him to his home.
