The little gold cub followed his sister quietly, peeking over his shoulder every time they got a little further from their home. Was he really going to follow her? But...but he didn't want to lose! His pride was overriding his mind, something that was a bit too common in boys. He huffed as he noticed that his sister didn't even care. Well, fine! He still continued to follow her, not hiding that fact at all.
He was taken aback a bit when she picked her destination. "But...but that place is really dangerous, Sen!" He didn't know much about it, but was only told to NOT go there. He couldn't believe hos rash his sister was acting. Was this just because of him, or because she just wanted to be best of the best? Only one way to find out....and he was ready to follow her for...a bit longer, at least.

"But that place is really dangerous, Sen!" she mimiced, something she was extremely good at doing given she played such a game daily with any strange she stumbled across or vice versa. Her voice sounded very similar to his, added with an extra sort of whiny tint, an obvious taunt. "You don't have to follow me," she pointed out.
Her chosen destination was the result of a mixture of things. She wanted to shake her brother, so when he ran off, she could really go somewhere she actually wanted to, and he wouldn't know it's location to run off and tell their mom. (Plus, she could lie later and say she hadn't gone near that place and Yue was just crazy.) Along with that, she would hold taunting rights later.
She'd never let him live it down if he ran.
"Oooh! Look how scary!" Making fun of her brother was the only thing keeping her from realizing just how frightening the place was as the scenery of old bones and rotting flesh drew closer and closer.

Yue huffed at his sister, whining at her even if it wouldn't do any good but just feed her more things to be taunted with. "Stoooop," he whined, biting his lower lip, holding back the inkling of tears. Why did she always do that? "I'm going to follow you if I have to!" Not that it made much sense, but that's how he felt.
"It....it's not scary" He said defiantly, though it really did scare him. He wasn't going to give up too easily, not with his weak pride on the line. His yellow limbs soon got dusty with the dying ground, and his bright gold colour seemed to dim even more as they got right up to the Graveyard. He was so scared, he hoped his sister would turn back soon.

Ugh, was he still following her?
She managed to sneak a quick glance over her shoulder. Yes, yes he was. He's so annoying, she thought bitterly, chosing to ignore the voice that reminded her it was her making fun of him that him following her to begin with. That part didn't matter. He was annoying. That was all that mattered.
"Then stop whining like a wimp," Sen muttered back at him. Her paws continued forward, expression determined. The distraction of her sibling, still, was the only thing that kept her going as the grass became dirt and the sun was being mostly blocked by big, ugly mounds of rock.
"If you get too scared you could run away," Yue's sister reminded him casually. There was a small path leading up the mountain, and she veered off toward it, traveling upward to get a better view of the ribcage that had caught her attention.
Somewhere near the top, she leaned over to touch the bone, tilting her head.
--Bad idea.
The unsturdy bone, much older than she'd determined herself, cracked and fell. Sen squeaked before toppling forward as well, and down she fell. An eruption of dust flew into the air, followed by the sounds of some more bones collasping.

Yue hissed as his sister after she suggested him to run away. Like he would! He wasn't that scared, now....was he? He shook his head, trying to keep the pace with his grump of a sister.
When everything began to grow a little darker, though, he slowly began to understand just how much trouble they could be getting into. He lowered his head, peeking up at the huge rocks, bones, and whatever else was really high up. He hoped there wouldn't be anything scary lurking around...
Gulping, he took a moment to examine an old rotting piece of skin, with a bit of fur still on it, before he heard a big crash and jumble of sounds. His head shot up, and he looked over to where his sister just was; but now she was gone!
Panicking, he bounced over to where he thought she would be, but didn't see anything. Looking a bit more to the left, though, he saw the dust flowing from a pile of bones. "Sen? Seeeeen?" he whined, hoping she would reply. He flexed his little forepaws on the ground, the outlet for his nerves at the moment.

A minute passed. Then another. No response was given to the understandablely panicked cub from his sister. Somewhere over the span of the next two minutes, there was a light shifting sound. Another small piece of bone fell. More dust soared into the air.
There was silence.

"....Sen?" He hoped she was okay. He....he actually kind of wished that she would pull one of her mean stunts on him, right now. Right at this moment. But there wasn't any movement, which made his head spin.
"Sen!" He galloped over to the pile, scratching away at the pile with his little paws. He could barely move some of the bones, his weak limbs not able to pull away some of the large rib bones. He ran around the pile, looking for a spot that had some smaller bones, but didn't find much. He stuck to one part of the side and bonked his head against it, hoping that some of the bones would fall off. Certainly they did, and nearly knocked out the poor cub as a few landed on him. He huffed, trying to catch his break as he looked back up at the pile. There weren't as many bones on top, but he didn't make much of a dent, either.

Finally, there was a voice! Only... it wasn't Sen's.
No, the keeper of these vocal cords was an adolescent rogue. After quite a family mess, Ohahira had landed herself out of the Unity Walkers and into the big, wide world of aimless wandering. Unknowningly, these ventures had led her to the pridelands, and eventually to a graveyard. Full of elephants?
Dead elephants, that is. And cubs.
"Hey, are you alright?" she called over, standing a good ten feet away and hesitant to approach any closer. Rogue cubs tended to be absolutely spazztastic, and after being kicked in the head by a zebra (which, no, she hadn't managed to kill), she was in no mood for one to start screeching at her.
But the little thing looked panicked, so she couldn't just walk off, either.

Yue spooked as he heard the strange voice, and he quickly scampered to hide behind the pile of bones before peeking out to see what it was. His eyes rested upon a black and white lioness, one who didn't look as big as Mother, but still bigger then the two of them, definately. Maybe...maybe she could help!
"N-no..." he said shakely, still a bit flighty with this new arrival, but desperate to help his sister. No way would he leave her there! His goody-two-shoes instinct told him to help, along with his heart. They might bicker a lot, but his sister was family.
"M-my sister is....is stuck in here." He didn't point out to where his sister was, but he automatically assumed that the other lioness would know exactly what he was talking about. Especially as he was just facing the pile of bones. His gold coat, which now looked a bit more brown then gold, peeked through as he stepped away from the pile, unknowing as to why he did, but sometimes you feet just moved on their own.

Indeed, Sen was his family.
Family, as it happened, was the one true weak point of the adolescent who had, be it by extreme luck or fate, came across him. Ohahira's heart immediatly ached for little cub as she remembered her own sisters, the two that had left and the three she had left behind in leaving. She wasn't sure what God controlled this sort of thing, or even if they really exsisted at all, but mentally she begged for this cub she didn't even know to be alright.
"Alright, calm down," she instructed, very much a hypocrit as her own voice was shaking. "I'll get her out." Or her corpse out.
She shook her head to rid herself of that thought and hurried to the pile of bones the cub had his attention on before. Pawing through it hurriedly, she squinted to see through the clouds of dust and dirt. "What's your sister look like?" If she was as bright as him, she'd be easy to spot.

The little cub squeaked as the lion stranger came over, obviously going to help. Well, hopefully help. He backed up a bit, moreso on giving her room then out of fear. Even if she turned on the two little cubs, they would at least have a better chance once Sen got out. It never crossed his mind that anything back would happen to his sister, since he always saw her as strong. And hotheaded. But to him, they were the same thing.
"She's kinda white," he started, hoping that would help. Wouldn't her white show through the dark shadows that the bones made? Maybe. "And she's got green eyes." Yeah, he was probably expecting her to just pop out at any moment, eyes wide open. Yue was a little too optomistic about this. He danced around in his spot, highly anxious without another way to release it. "Is she there? Is she there?"

White. So, gray and brown was what she was looking for. No way a white lion would stay white in all this. Just with the little digging she'd done so far the white on her was already dusty. "Hold on, I'm looking," she told the cub.
Bones and dirt shuffled from place to place. It was a few moments longer before Ohahira blurted the classic noise of discovery, "Aha!" followed by, "Here we go!"
Careful not to harm the poor thing further (and thankful she was still breathing, albiet heavily), Ohahira drug with her front paws. She scooped her up and held her in her mouth by the skin on her neck, dangling her infront of her brother.
As predicted, her coat was a swirl of dirt brown and the gray of very thick dust, mixed in with a bit of red around her nose, back and head where she'd been either in her fall or things collasping on her.
Blurry, pained green eyes opened. --Well, one did.
"Ouch."

"Sen!"
That confirmed that indeed, the stranger had picked the right cub out of the pile. Well, that would be the only cub in the pile, but in Yue's mind it was the right cub. He took one small step forward, nervous about her condition. "Are you okay, Sen?" he asked cautiously, taking another small step forward. His heart raced a bit as he saw the bit of red on her nose. Blood? That wasn't good at all! Upon a closer look (and another step) he saw even more. Oh no!
His mind wrapped around the blood, the blood. He felt like a bit of it was his fault, and it showed on his face, wetness developing in the corners of his eyes. She was really hurt, wasn't she?

"Stop yelling," grumbled the cub. She was placed on her feet, and the second they made contact with the ground she nearly toppled over. Ohahira leaned down and nudged her with her nose, helping to regain her unsteady balance. Sen mumbled a 'thank you', having yet to realize someone was present who hadn't been there before.
"Yeah, I'm fine," she assured him, not sounding very confident in that claim. "I just hit my head a little bit." And her nose, and all four legs, and her back. But she was fine, really. Her eyes widened a bit at her sibling. What the...? Was he...? "Did you fall too or something?"

Yue's ears flattened against his skull as he heard Sen's sharp remark at him. Well, obviously she was fine if she had the energy to do that. He peeked back over at his sister, seeing her standing up on the ground now. Well, that was a good sign, too. So she was alright. The blood, in his mind, seemed to be for show since she seemed nearly normal. At least on the outside.
He cocked his head to the side when she asked him if he fell. "What?" He was fine too, why did she ask that. He took a look down at one of his forelimbs, though, and noticed that he nearly looked brown. "Oh! I tried to get you out, but then this stranger lion," looking over at the black and white lioness that stood nearby, "came by and gotcha out."
