Here's more of a personality and hardware question than a software question. I'm an incoming college student taking Information Technology. I want to know what type of laptop would best suit my needs both personally and academically, i.e. memory capacity, hard drive, etc...
Help? smile

Fatal Crescent Here's more of a personality and hardware question than a software question. I'm an incoming college student taking Information Technology. I want to know what type of laptop would best suit my needs both personally and academically, i.e. memory capacity, hard drive, etc... Help? smile hmmm... Lets see if your are going towards high-priced laptops, then I would choose the Dell Precision M90 or the Dell Precision M65. Both high in memory, RAM (Speed), high captivity. Here is the link to it where you can customize it on the exact things you want so you don't have to tell me all the info. http://www.dell.com/content/products/compare.aspx/workstations?c=us&cs=RC956904&l=en&s=hiedI don't know all the cheap ones that work well so I would recommend to go to dell.com They have the best computers shipped in great time. I would highly recommend it.

Well if you have an account on the computer and its in your account folder, right click the file and click on properties than go to the sharing tab and check the box that says make this folder private. That makes it private unless you are logged on to your account. Otherwise for Windows XP there is no other way

You can also go to properties, check the "Hidden" box, and then the folder will no longer appear although it's still there.
Then, to access it, in the address box, type the full path.
For example, if you had a hidden folder named "hidden" on your C:/ drive, then you would type C:/hidden and it would take you to the folder.

That I am guessing is more of a site issue. You could try posting in the forums for help.
