he caught the glow stick as it swung from his neck as she pawed at it. "the great Witch knows I've needed something interesting to happen"
he moved his head to the side, keeping his eyes on her for as long as he could, before he looked off around the Swamp
"its a bit bright." he smirked, lowering his face once again to shield his eyes "but I think i could get used to this place."
he turned back to her "and where do you live in the Swamp?"

Her left ear flicked and she chuckled. "Interesting indeed... ..Dear, I told you. I'm not a coffee.." She waved a paw, calling the fish back over to her. They started to swim through her fur in their usual process. "I don't live in the swamp. I live a ways away from here actually.. I just came to find someone."

his own ears fell back, confused. "not in the Swamp? but then were?"
perhaps he was not aware how close the Swamp was to ending. oblivious of the other land outside of the dark, bitter and dank Swamp.
he raised a brow, lifting one of his arms and shifting his weight onto the other.
"... are you from that other land the others mentioned then?"

She arched an eyebrow. Did some coffees really not know about her home, and the candies? A delicate paw raised to point in the direction she had came. "It's just a small ways that way.. It's where candies live... Your swamp is made of coffee, and we have forests and mountains made of candy. It's alot prettier and sweeter there."

Equis looked surprised in deed to hear about this "a Candy land?" he glanced up looking thoughtful "ah, so maybe thats the land the others were speaking of" he smirked and looked back down at her "so its probably a releaf the conquest failed, hum?"
he walked off to the side, stopping to glance coolly back at her, a small grin playing along his face "are all the Numa that live there as beautiful as you?"

"Well..." She glanced around, then back up at him with a sly grin. "I do suppose so. Though.. I don't know why candies would want to conquest this smelly place." She smirked wider, steping a bit closer as her tail flicked in his direction. "No, not really... I'm just extrodinarily beauitful... Most numas there are just.. plain, and competley unsatisfying..." She raised a paw to the glowstick again, tapping it with a claw slowly.

Equis laughed again "conquer the Swamp, haa haa, never. its the other way around. though from the sounds of it" he wrinkled his nose "I don't see allot of Coffee being to comfortable in a place like that"
he softened his expression looking down at her playing with his glow stick again.
"well then. maybe this is a good omen indeed that you are the first from that land that I met." he reached a claw out, taking a hold of her claw and looking over her beautiful colors more closely
"don't have any regrets about leaving after all."
he looked back into her gleaming eyes. "now why did you say you were in here for again?" he asked smoothly

She purred softly, letting him take her paw. Her eyes flickered away, faking a shy look as he complimented her. "Oh... Flatterer.. You're too kind.." Most males liked it when you played a bit shy, thought it was cute. her other dainty paw raised to smooth the fur down on her neck.
Then she remembered her reason for coming to the swamp at all.. Jedrek. A twinge of guilt pulled at her stomach... wait, what? Guilt? Why would she be guilty? When she thought about it, the idea made her chuckle lightly. She wasn't doing anything wrong. She returned to smiling and batting her eyelashes at him slowly, eyes glowing brightly.
"I came to visit someone... His name is Jedrek..."

one of his eyebrows raised slightly at the mention of this.. Jedrek. he of cource did not know anyone by that name, he was after all from a far different part of the Swamp, and Jedrek might live in this aria.
"well. he's not much of a gentlemen, makeing such an attractive lady wait by herself." he tilted his head slightly, lowering her paw but not backing up "and in such a dangerous place to."

My, my... What a flirt this Numa was. More so than even the usual males she encountered. But she adored it. This is what she lived for, the adoration, the attention... She sighed softly and glanced away, looking around at the dark swamp, faking a distressed look. "Well... He doesn't really know I'm coming, you see..." She looked back at him and inched a bit closer. "You're defenitly more of a gentleman than him.. He's... well, he's a bit... dead, you see..."

"dead?" his first thought was... that he was actually dead , and she was visiting a grave, "ah, I see. well I am sorry my dear" though now that the idea of another male to deal with was not picking away at the back of his mind, he was was a bit relieved.
"well if you like Calypso, I can accompany you to Jedrek, make sure you get there alright at the very least"

She arched an eyebrow, of course not realize what he thought she had meant. But of course she wasn't going to turn down the protection... She wouldn't admit it, but the swamps terrorfied her.
"That's very very kind of you.." She smirked and stepped forward to lick his cheek, then trotted away from him, heading deeper into the swamp. She glanced back at him to see if he would follow. "I'll be sure to make it up to you."

he grinned as she licked him, then watched her walk off farther into the Swamp. "don't mention it" he followed after her. picking up his pace to catch up.
he didn't know the aria, so his guess as to where they where going was as good as hers. but it was thrilling in a way. he had pretty much been lost the entire time he came to this part of the Swamp. something he had grown to enjoy quite a bit. unfamiliarity.

She smirked, slowing down a bit to let him catch up easier. She walked gracefully, trotting around the wetter bits of ground like it was nothing. The three fish swam around her like usual, but when passing on the side that faced Equis, sometimes they'd get distracted and flutter closer to stare at his glowing markings before moving on.
She glanced at him as they walked together. "So, tell me more about yourself, Equis.." She looked away and around them, on the look out for the undead Numa. Though... The male beside her was quite a distraction.

he rolled a shoulder at her question not really knowing how to answer the Question.
"typical Coffee life really. though not a typical Coffee and you can probably guess. my size for one." he grinned, looking at the fish as they swam over to say hello, then back down at Calypso "I used to live up here, where its usually a bit brighter, but eventually found it more comfortable down in the deepest part of the Swamp"
he turned his head downward "and you?"
it was the only time that he was ever alone he noticed. not that he cared either way. but more and more was he becoming aware of the stillness around him, ever since Jayce was old enough to leave his family, and he had seen quite a bit of Calypso lately... well more then others. but Jayce always refused to go into the Swamp, and he had no idea where Calypso was. so... Jedrek would just go alone.
not caring if he ate leaf or bean, he tossed both into his mouth, and consumed it rather slowly.
