"You do? Well, I guess I can't say I'm totally shocked seeing as your the hostess. Heh... You own all this and you not married?" He said looking around. She seemed even more interesting than he had previously thought. "What exactly goes on in the corporation? I'd never heard of it until I came here."

"Typical corp stuff...Somehow we're suppose to be linked to the underground and keep all the baddies there."
She shrugged. "I never fully understood the purpose of the corp when I inherited it."
The fact he didn't know about the corp surprised her. She thought most knew about it.

"Baddies... Now that's a word I was not expecting anyone to use. Sounds like a child who doesn't understand it all yet. All the same, it sounds interesting." Lexi said with a smile.
"What's your name?" He asked dropping everything in his hands on the ground, save for the glass which he twirled again. He stopped the glass spinning, realising she didn't know his yet either, and took a slight bow. "I'm Lex Sediel."

"Nice to meet you Skyling." Lex muttered taking a seat cross legged next to her.
"So far your the most interesting person I've met tonight." he commented watching the glass in his hands spin again. "If I'd met you earlier I might have been able to stay in character longer."

"Most of the people here put on more then just masks....Why be like them?"
She crossed her ankles and sat with her hands behind, supporting herself upright as she looked at him.

"That's actually a very good question..." Lex replied looking as though he was searching his mind for an answer. "I wouldn't really know." he finalised with a shrug as he turned to see her with a smile.

"So what choice of beverage did you choose?"
She asked. Maybe it was a better question she thought to herself, finding this man to be interesting.

Lex held the glass up to eye level and studied, though really there was no need to. "I believe is was a wine of some kind. Not what I'm used to anyway." He said peering at Sky through the glass like a dork.
"The bar I usually go to doesn't have much of a variety, see." He explained placing the transparent object next to him.

Sky nodded. Wine...usually served at these functions. Granted for some reason some cordinators chose the cheap stuff... She needed to work on that.
"So you attend bars more?"
She looked to the sky, watching the brilliantly lit sky.

"I do indeed. I usually prefer to go drinking with the boys to celebrate then attend a formal ball. Either that or one of them will organize a party with load music, bonfires 'n' stuff like that. Cheaper and more entertaining." He said with a smile his attention was drawn back to the building when he heard a crash and a familiar male screaming at the top of his lungs.
The other guy from earlier ran out to them and squatted behind Lex with a cheeky smile. He appeared to be trying to hide behind him. "Your on your own now Lexi-boy!! I'm gonna borrow your bike! If I stack to bad I'll let you pay for the damage!" The guy said in a dull voice before laughing, patting Lex's shoulder and getting to his feet again.
"No you bloody well won't! There's no way I'm gonna let you borrow it! How else am I meant to get home?" Lex snapped annoyed at his 'friend'. The other man shrugged with a smug smile and said, "Not my problem. I'm sure your lady friend will be willing to help you with that." before he dashed off again. More crashing an a few more screams could be heard before it all went silent again.
"Dammit! The a$$-hole's drunk again!" Lex said shaking his head with an unimpressed look. "He's probably gone and ruined everything inside now." He added looking back at Sky with another apologetic look.

Sky watched the commotion with amusement on her face.
"Is he always like that?" She asked, toying with the hem of her skirt and then trailing her fingers through the water.

"Not always." Lex replied shaking his head, "He's usually a lot worse. It's the first time he's left me stranded and stolen my bike though. My guess is he flirted with someone he shouldn't have and now he's bolted to avoid a fight."
He chuckled and shook his head with a grin. "Do you have any friends like that?" He asked fiddling with the glass again.

"Not really... in the rich world, there's very few friends...except for Alexander. He sorta just dropped into my life one day."
She smiled picturing the undera in her mind. "If you'd like, I can get you a ride home."

"I see." Lex said with a soft chuckle. "Um... That'd be great, though it's not really my home. I say it is, but really I'm temporarily crashing at a mate's house. I can't afford a house or apartment or anything of my own." He explained with a sort of embarrassed look. Here he was chatting with the rich owner of a corporation and the most he had himself were a few clothes and his motorbike.
