Nibal's grin slipped a bit when he saw the target. Okay, so he'd figured out how to get it out, but now he had to aim it? That just sounded hard. "Okay..." He stared at the target, frowning as he tried to figure out just how to aim his tongue.

"It will come in use to be able to aim where your tongue is going, imagine all of what you could do then? Your tongue is supposed to be sticky like your fingers so you will be able to snag stuff from a distance with it." A sure fire way to drive a parent crazy he was sure.

Nibal's grin grew once more. "So... like JarJar from Star Wars?" He was boy, so of course he'd seen the Star Wars movies. Oh boy wouldn't P'las be surprised when he could grab an apple from the middle of the table with his tongue!

Orpheus gave him a smile and nodded, he wasn't sure who 'JarJar' was but if it helped to motivate his student then he would agree, "Ready to try out the target practice then? I am sure you will figure it out easily enough." Nibal had figured out the building climbing thing after all.

The boy nodded. "Okay."He waited for the teacher to get the targets set up for him. He had a feeling this would be something he'd have to practice more at home before he got really good at it.
Kalseru just blinked at the pair. So the blue kid could do funny things with his tongue? The little green wondered if she could do such an interesting thing as well. She looked at the man and Nibal to make sure that neither were looking at her before she tried to do what the boy had been doing.

Orpheus set the targets up before he stepped back from them, seeming to be looking them over for a moment before laughing, "Now that I think about it were you to hit them with your tongue would you most likely stick to them." He said, "So... Instead of trying for bullseyes just see if you can bring all of the targets back to you." There were only a trio so it should be hard, "If you can do that I will pass you, practicing the skill though will be a must if you want to perfect it though."

Nibal grinned and nodded. "Okay." So his tongue would stick to things! That would be cool. Now... to just figure out how to aim it. The boy lined himself up with the first target and shot out his tongue.
Miss. His tongue shot by the paper. Nibal frowned and rotated his head just a touch before trying again. His tongue hit the target and stuck, bringing the paper to come flying back to smack Nibal in the face.

Orpheus lifted a hand to his mouth to smother any beginings of laughter that could have tried to escape. It wasn't nice to laugh he told himself, composed himself then gave Nibal a smile, "Very good, you got the first sheet of paper. Maybe you could catch the other two with your hands?" His fingers were sticky too so maybe that would give him a good chance of keeping the second two sheets from hitting him in the face, to get them to stick to his fingers and release from his tongue.

"Oh-hay" Nibal muttered, the paper still stuck to his tongue. He reached up to grab it, his fingers sticking to the paper. After a little bit of tugging, he finally managed to unstick his tongue, but the paper was now stuck to his fingers. A few more moments and he managed to free his fingers from the target.
Okay, now that that was done with, there were two more sheets to get. Nibal aimed for the second one and tried to snag it with his tongue. Another miss. This wasn't as easy as it looked. Okay, try again. Move just a bit to line up better and... score! He got it. This time he reached up to try and grab the target before it slapped him in the face again.

Orpheus clapped, "Very good! Just one more to go and you will have sucessfully passed another of my strange classes and with another fun skill to show for it." The red haired teacher said jokingly.
Yes, Nibal's parent was going to LOVE him for both these skill he was sure.

Nibal grinned from behind the target as he struggled again to get it off his tongue, then off his fingers. Finally, he was ready to go for that last target. The boy hoped he could get this one on the first try this time, so he spent more time trying to line himself up just right for it.
Zoom. Snatch. Score! Nibal grinned as the target shot back towards him on the end of his tongue and he fought again to get it off. It'd probably be easier to practice with things he could actually eat and could save him the trouble of unsticking fingers and tongue from the items.

Orpheus clapped again, "Alright! Great job Nibal." He said, walking over to his student, "This will be something you will want to practice of course to get full use of the skill and to be able to hit your target, whatever it may be, on the first shot. I think it may be useful though, if nothing else fun to shock people with." He picked got a black bag out of his pocket, one Nibal may remember from his last class and dumped the contents out into his hand. The contents were held out to Nibal, "Your prize for passing." He said.  "It will need a chain or a cord." He said, not having had time to get one for it but he was sure Nibal could find something.

Nibal grinned at Orpheus, glad to have another interesting skill to play around with. He took the pretty blue gem happily. "Thanks!" He was sure P'las could find him a chain or something to put it on. Maybe he'd give it to Kal. She'd probably like it. P'las did say that dragons liked shiny things.
Nibal waved at the teacher, heading back towards the building. "C'mon Kal!" He called, grinning when he saw the green wake with a start, having fallen asleep while Nibal had been practicing. She trotted off happily after the boy.

Orpheus gave a wave before going to fetch his clipboard, taking down a few notes on it about how the class had gone before he went to work picking up the place before heading out himself and back to his office.
