Well I went to Comic con yesterday. They were not selling the new cards yet. The box was on display! But they were not selling it or anything. Comic con is full of stuff that isn't for sale until many months from now. They said it would come out in September. They also said that the year before they had some TCG cards that were just like this came and are compatible with it. This game comes with a bunch of new cards though, rule book, etc. They stoped selling those cards a long time ago though. I have no idea what they were called or what they looked like. They were not the cards I got though last year, thats for sure. Thats about the only Sonic thing I could find there though. Sorry. I hope this info is a little useful.
Speaking as someone who couldn't get to San Diego: thanks! Sounds intriguing - I wonder if they're coming out with a new edition with a tweaked rules system.
I remember the man saying that the old TCG cards had similar rules to the new one. Thus implying that the new card game rules will be a little different. I am sorry that you coldn't go to San Diego. I came down here two months ago to visit and stay with my grandparents for the summer. So at least I didn't need a hotel or anything. So it was a little easier. I am still sorry about it.
