"Me? I just skipped my work for a walk. I'm lazy, see?" She giggled, but it faded fast when she noticed something from Zsolt's face. "Do you have something in mind? A trouble with that lovely puppy I guess?" Zsolt always obviously showed his anxiety on his face, even though he didn't know himself he did. For other people may not see the difference but for his friends, a close one, could tell it easily. Lately only one reason he showed this face was because of that pup.

"Mature?" She raised her eyebrows. It was indeed strange, but something more was ZSOLT acted more strange! He was not a kind of people who mind others except himself. This was a rare case. But she better kept it to herself, "Well, Laxis is eighteen, isn't he? Maybe he feels that he needs to be grow up. Listen Zsolt, he always goes here and there with you. Sometimes he may sees other boys do something suits with their ages... or more than that. Think about Rance as example, he worked so hard when he was same age as Laxis. He was mature, right? I think maybe Laxis thinks he is too childish and would like to improve himself. Is this a good reason enough?"

Adriana paused while let out a sigh also. Another main reason Laxis thought maybe was...

"And... Zsolt... Laxis may doesn't want to make you embarrassed because of his childish behavior."

"It's useless to tell me, tell Laxis." Adriana smiled. She could feel the warmth from this man aside her. The warmth that he didn't have when they first met. "Explain what you think to him, Zsolt. You don't need to be shy. Just say and I'm sure he will understand."

Adriana stood up, stretched herself. Then looked back at Zsolt.

"You should go now. It's not so nice making your friend wait so long. I'm going back to my shop too before my girls find out I'm skipping." She gave a cheerful smile to the demon, "Good luck Zsolt. See you at usual place tomorrow!" Adriana made a last word when she was on her way.

Laxis placed an empty ice-cream cup on the desk, the third one after Zsolt left. In fact he shouldn't ate this much, it wasn't mature at all, but the ice-cream flavor was unbearable. He couldn't hold back.

It had been a while and Zsolt still had not come back yet. He felt a little bit panic.

Is anything happened to him? May be an accident?

He was burried in his thought, when a huge man in suit stood beside his desk. Laxis looked up to meet irritated eyes.

"Do you have any problem, Sir?"

Laxis saw a 'manager' written pad on his suit.

"Nothing..." He said.

A fat manager frowned, he gave a suspected stare on a demi-human boy. "Do you have any problem paying your meal?"

Laxis said nothing. Surely he didn't have. Laxis didn't bring his wallet like he usually did when he came with Zsolt.

"So be it, you think you can walk in and steal our stuffs? Your pathetic dog."

Laxis clenched his teeth. "I'm...not a dog..."

"Then what you are? A human? I can't stand what people said all race can lives together in this world. A beast is a beast."

Laxis looked around, then he understood. All the waiters and cooks, they were humans. Now he was looked down by a kind of people who insulted a long-live and stronger race like demi-human and demon because they were mortal?

A damn manager went on talking a stupid things. Laxis tried his best to keep his rage.

".........so.......vy......."

"What!!?? What did you say brat!?"

"I said... So what?" Laxis gave him an evil smile. "Do you envy?"

A fat manager felt like a hard slap on his face. His face turned red with anger.

"You pathetic scum!!!"

"Stop it right there."

A cold, low voice was sent from the tall figure at the door of coffee shop. One red hard and cold eye glared over to the manage before the demon made his steps to him. Standing in front of the manager, he said slowly, "What are you going to do with this boy may I ask?"

With emotionless, liveless red eye, it seem like he could be able to kill all humans there at any time.

Zsolt just looked down, silent.

Human is more pathetic.

"How much is it? I mean ice-cream cost, also added my Iced Cappuchino too." Zsolt's expression was back to normal. Talk to this human was just useless. Money could only make love of him, "I will pay double, for apologizing the trouble this boy made."

The other customers were looking at them, gossiped about what just happened.

"I must correct your understanding, sir. This boy isn't my pet. He is my friend. Also he is not a dog. Demi-human race is far better than animals." He spoke as he pulled out some large banknotes and tucked them to manager's hand, "No changes. And I might give you some lesson," He paused a bit before his voice cold down again, "Don't think you're so great over other races. There are much more great beings around this world. If you still act like this, you may get killed for real in one day." Zsolt stepped back a bit, "You're lucky today." Then he turned his face to Laxis, "Laxis, come here. Let's go home."

Zsolt was silent all the way he made back to home along with Laxis. When the young boy asked for sirloin, he felt a relieve that Laxis became back to his own self. But he still needed to teach puppy a lesson also.

"No, this is for your punishment. We don't have surlion steak today. I will do fried vegetables for you instead, and milk." He paused, and turned to face Laxis, "Laxis, what you did there wasn't smart way. Tell me what you said to him. Made him that angry." He seriously asked, to make him confessed.

Zsolt looked into those golden eyes. He pulled Laxis and made him sat down at the bench, then he sat alongside with Laxis.

This kid had a bad memory about human. Zsolt judged from how he reacted to that manager.

The demon took his deep breath, saying, "Listen, Laxis. There aren't only humans who do that. Everyone could be like that. But Laxis," He sighed out slowly, "You have no right to say that. No one can choose what they are." He patted Laxis' head softly. His life might be so hard on him, "That's only your mistake. Laxis..." Now in his head, the picture of woman in pure white outfit popped up, she was smiling. The same teaching he ever had been taught from her, "Human is not that bad. You must know them each... Don't judge them from race..."

Zsolt tried to think for an example, "Like.. Rance.. do you think he's bad because he's human?"

The young demi-human shook his head rapidly. Zsolt let a slightly smile.

"So don't say that again. You will just make them look down on you. If you keep your cool and reply them calmly. Their point of view MAY be better on us." The demon bended to him a little, and said in low voice, "Did you see other customers' faces back there? They looked down on the manager, not me." He slowly stood up, "What you do, it will serve you right."

"If you understand that, I will buy you small surloin as a prize."
