"Seems like you didn't learn nothin' while you was away." He snorted once more, eyes narrowing as he looked at his son. "You was goin' t'leave again, wasn't you? Jus' 'cause Ah was here with Wylie an' Dodger?" He shook his head, clearly displeased with the way Sedi was skirting around things. He knew the tricks... Hell, he'd invented half of them. "If there's somethin' you need ta say Ah suggest sayin' it an' gettin' it outta your system."

"Yea I was. I was gonna leave so ya could spend time with them and not get mad at me." Last thing Remy needed was to have to deal with an irresponsible should be grown up son.
"I...... i got in a fight..." His hip still hurt some times if he ran to long but he hoped that would go away after a while. He didn't want to be limping when he was older.

"Ah can spend time wit' them whenever Ah want. They too young t'be runnin' off on their own jus' yet an' still young 'nough t'think th'world o' their Da... Guess that a perk o' bein' little." He snorted softly, giving his head a stern shake. Pretty soon they'd learn what Sedi had and what he was waiting for Rogue to realize; that he was nothing. Then they'd all walk away and never come back.
His nostrils flared the moment Sedi mentioned a fight, hoove digging into the grass as he stomped at the ground. "Y'did what? Ah didn't think Ah raised no son o' mine t'fight without a damned good reason. Was you defendin' someone, Sedi?" He better have been... And she had better have been beautiful at that.

"I don't think their mama would like'em running off too much." He'd hope that the Pretty Lady, Rogue, was better than that. At least if she was going to be running around with his Dah and all.
"Ah ...... no." He'd picked the fight all on his own and gotten his backside handed to him for the effort. At least he wouldn't be doing it again any time soon. Or at all was more like it.

"Ah didn't think Ah raised no son o' mine t'do somethin' so... Stupid." He snorted, eyes narrowing once more. He gave Sedi one of his best glares before his look softened. "Y'too much like me, Sedi... An' that's not somethin' Ah wanted for you, or any o' your brothers for that matter. Ah been tryin' t'make sure y'all're better than that..."

He winced slightly. He knew it had been stupid after he'd done it. He wasn't big and bad and he couldn't take on anything and everything that came across his path. He'd just end up getting himself maimed or worse.
"We gonna be like ya no matter how much ya don'wan it." They were his children and he'd spent too much time trying to be just like his father. "That green one .... wha'd ya call'em? He gonna be just like you too Dah."

"Wylie... An' tha blue one's Dodger." He nodded slowly, letting his eyes close for a moment. "Ah'd like them t'know their older siblin's... It'd be good for 'em. Wylie 'specially."
He paused for a moment before looking up to his son, brows furrowed from his deep thought. "Sedi... Ah know Ah made alot o' mistakes but... Did Ah' teach you anythin' good while you was growin' up?"

He figured if the new foals got to know him they'd just end up in the same trouble he got himself into. Remy would hate that and he had a feeling Rogue wouldn't like him at all if he got her foals into trouble.
"Ah did .... ah was just stupid an didn'listen ta none of it." He shifted slightly and hung his head. "Ah listen now."

He would rather have his sons getting in trouble with one another than running off and getting into trouble with Soqs he didn't know. At least if they were getting in trouble together they could watch one another's backs. "Ah hope y'listen now... Aft'all, you gotta be settin' a good example for th'littl'uns."

"Why? Day ain't gonna be following me 'round are day?" For all he knew his Dah would tell them to follow him around and learn from him. That'd be horrible. He couldn't do anything if he was stuck keeping an eye on a foal.

"'Course not. Ah wouldn't let them follow you 'round... Might pick up some o' your bad habits up." He snorted softly, giving his head a light toss before making his way to the stream. After all this 'parent business' he was convinced that he deserved a drink.

"Good ... might mess up ma style." Not that he had any but he defiantly wouldn't get anything with some little foal following him around. He walked slowly after his father and leaned over to get a drink himself. The cold water felt good going down his throat.

His brow lofted slightly as he tilted his head towards the other stallion. "... Since when you got style? That somethin' you pick up while youw as gettin' your a** handed t'you?" That wry grin curving his lips said that he was teasing and would, most likely, continue to tease Sedi about such things simply because he was the father and he could.
He took another sip of the cool water before quickly changing the subject. "Y'seen Beau, 'Sila or your momma lately? Ah've been meanin' t'check in on everythin'... Last Ah saw 'Sila was when you was around. K'tara was jus' before that... An' Beau. Don't know when Ah last seen him. Must'a been jus' after Ah realized you all alot bigger than Ah thought."

"Ah had style before that." He huffed. "You was just too busy tryin ta woo Rogue ta notice i was getting better than ya. Gonna take up your place soon enough." He knew he was lying his a** off but at least it was still fun to say and he knew his Dah would laugh it off.
"I ain't seen any of'em." Sila was still getting herself tangled up with Nuka last he saw. "Dey probably runnin around havin fun."

He nickered softly as he turned to look at his son. "You? Take mah place? Ah'd like t'see you try." He nudged his shoulder against the other stallion's before turning to trot towards the woods. "C'mon... I'll face y'back t'the lake. Y'might found style but Ah doubt you found speed."
