"Well, she sounds like Afu. " Only worse. He snorted. But whatever would be important about that, he hardly knew. Afu was just there.. wasn't she?
"Youn can always just shove her at some pride. Say thats it, and if she doesn't want it, that would be her problem. You only said you'd take her there, right? Its up to her if she /stays/. " He shrugged. But he himself wouldn't want to do that to Afu.. Did he?

Afu seemed rather strong hearted and more playful and active than Mwana, the only time Mwana was like that is when he did things her way. He wasn't about to be some female's lap lion.
"Well, I have thought about that. But, I promised I take her somewhere safe. What she wanted was a place that was stable. I knew that any pride would give her stability, but I can't trust a pride to be safe, at least for her. I said I'd take her some place safe, I just don't know where any place that one would call "safe" is."

"Afu.. " He shrugged. "She's got brains, this is true. I think the fact that I stand her is based on that, she's not some braindead fool. " Or because she amused him.
He continued trotting along, an ear slightly turned towards the other male to focus his hearing. "Well then in your case, the only safe place is with you. " He had a feeling thats what this male felt; nowhere was safe. Nowhere was safe for her. But truly, nowhere was being safe for Trigger. "You're worried, thats easy to tell. " He shook his head. As much as this male seemed to be whinning about this Mwana, Ahali could sort of tell he cared.

"With me? She is possibly in the worst place to be, by my side. If I am not able to stay calm, I could hurt her or worse. If you call that safe, then go on ahead. I just need to find a.... "safer" place for her."
He sighed and looked down at his paws for a moment. This entire time they have travelled along, she had stayed by his side even with their disagreements but she stuck with him regardless. She had said she was better off with her sisters, but yet she stuck around with him. He did care for her but.... did she in return?
"Well, what about me do you consider safe anyways? Besides, I'm better off dumping her on you. That way, you will have two females."

"You're so picky about wherever she stays, so even if you keep saying you're not safe, thats what you wish happened. " Ahali ssnorted. This fool just didn't get it, did he? He was just a love-struck idiot. But this next comment was rather irritating. He stopped, and stared at the other.
"I'm not a pety lion. I don't care about females, or having them, or whatever. I'm not tempted by dumb little desires to get them under my skin. And if you think it works like that, I'm a little female entertainment show, and I'll gladly take Mwana off your paws, then your brain is made of clouds. She is your problem, not mine. " He snorted, but he didn't hold any aggressive tone, any frustrated expression, irritation, but that mere indifference towards this poor fool and his burden.
He shook his head. He didn't need to spend time with this idiot anymore. "So suck it up and solve it yourself. I have my own problems. " Not really. He could pretty much do anything he wanted at the time being. He nodded quietly, as if dismissing this lion, and turned, and trotted away, not towards his pile of bones that'd been left behind, or continuing towards where they were heading. Just a different direction, where he assumed Afu might be. And without really bothering to hear anything else from Trigger.
