scream We have practice Monday nights 4-9, Tuesday and Thursdays 2-5 and every toher Saturday 8-8. Saturdays we get an hour lunch and an hour dinner break. Band Camp is from 8-8 with the same rules.

During the summer we practive (starting in August) from 8-8 (12 hours) and after school during the school year monday-thursday for 2 hours.

we have practice february-july every wednesday night from 6-8, then in august we have monday-wednesday night 6-9, band camp for two weeks (8am-12pm then 5pm-9pm) then the season begins. september through november- monday through wednesday 6-9, practice afterschool on fridays then football games, then practice on saturday for competitions all day.
It sucks, but somehow its fun?

Before school starts we have two weeks of like 8 hours practices every day, and then once school starts we have four 3 hour practices a week.

Band Camp hours [two weeks]:
6 am-1 pm [marching]
1 pm-3pm [sectionals]
Nighttime practices [Every saturday for football season]
4 pm- 9pm.
Our 374-member band is very dedicated. ='D

We get an hour each for lunch and dinner.
The last few weeks of the school year we spend the normal band period working on our show. Then sometime in August we have a week or two of band camp, and then Saturday practices until school starts. Once school starts, we practice an hour a day (sixth period) and then on Mondays and Wednesdays we have practice from 6th period till 4 (so about 3 hours.) My section, the Saxophones and flugles, also holds 1-2 hour after school sectionals on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

we usually have marching band 1st block at 7:55 and we have a 4x4 block schedule at my school (meaning we have 2 terms one Winter and one in spring, 4 classes each term) and each class is 90 minutes long. It's nice cuz it's cool in the morn ing but it's pretty hot at the beginning of season by the end of period.
and we also have evening practices which are usually very cool and they're about 2 1/2 hours long.

Usually a 4 hour practice. During band camp it's 9-10 hours.

4 to 6
Band camp is 6 hours for pre camp and 12 hours for band camp.

band camp goes from 8 to noon for 2 weeks.
then when school starts practice on tues. from
3 to 4:30pm and wed. 7-9pm. and games are on fri.

Ours are Tuesdays from 6-9(Rain or shine!)
And the percussion are...Pft, I don't even know yet.
But they'll be a different day.
I guess we could have it worse.
Except I remember on the day of the home band show last year we had to be practicing at 7 and the rest of the band didn't get there 'til 12 or so.
(Show started at 6)
And of course band camp is all day with some breaks and time after.
I'm not sure exactly yet.
They give us July off.

summer band 9 hours a day outside with stinkin 90% and more humidity in 95+ degree weather everyday except for sat and sun and only 5 hours on wen
