Windstar grinned. "How long have you known that part of you wouldn't come of age until you were 100 years old? I found out at 51...I'd been thinking of myself as an adult for over thirty years." She sat down at the table where she'd set her bag a few minutes earlier.

"Since I was coherent enough to listen and learn with the elves, so, pretty early. My teachers believed in laying it all out and letting me sort through it all. It actually helped, really."
He stood, and headed to the waning fire. Tossing one of the many logs in, he stopped to poke at the fire, to encourage it to start.
"Fires are bleedin' hard to start when it gets cold. Good thing winter just passed it's solstice."

"I wish I could tell you more than what you know, but they weren't too keen on giving all the little details, like: the ceremony itself, where to have it, when, etc. All they told us is that it was to be held as close to your village of birth, on your 100th birthday. Other than that, it was just a shadow looming behind us, waiting for a century to pass. Not like that's really long in the life of an elf."

Windstar sighed. "I'm not even sure they know I exist...the elves near where I come from where wiped out eighty years ago." She slowly turned the now empty glass in her hands, then got up. "Thank you for telling me what you could. Which room is mine?"

He tossed her a key off of the rack beside the bar.
"Up the stairs, third door, to the right of the stairs."
He smiled, that kind smile of his, then walked over to the fire, and sat down.

She caught the keys and smiled. "Thanks." Shoudering her bag, she headed up.

Fox stepped through the door to find the inn had just opened. She noticed very few people except for a man by the fire. She walked over towards him slowly.
"Excuse me sir, this inn is open, right?" She asked hesitantly, Fox wasn't used to strangers.

Fox waited about a minute before realizing the man wasn't going to respond. The other customers took no notice and the atmpsphere unnerved the girl.
"I'll be going now, sorry for bothering you." Fox muttered. The quiet was too much for her. She felt that she just had to get out of that room, and did so very quickly. At least she didn't slam the door on her way out.
"I guess I'm just not a people person, huh?" Fox whispered to herself before heading further into the town.

Coming back downstairs, Windstar caught sight of a dispirited girl heading out the door. "Hey wait!" She called, and followed.

She slowly walked in to the Inn being careful and making sure her cloak was completly covering her she took a seat avoiding eye contact with everyone she sighed and relaxed in her chair and began to sing softly in an ancient language and it slowly got colder around her until her breath came out in a light fog. She looked around for the Inn keeper and just waited until he noticed her and if he didn't she would look else where for the information she wanted. She coutinued to sing as she took in everything making sure there also wasen't any danger.
